La forme -d'exécution de l'objet de l'inven tion représentée, à titre d'exemple, par le ,dessin annexé, permet d'aseurer, la communi- cation soit ,du, segment du tuyau 25, soit du canal 24 avec la chambre 9, de telle sorte que le fludé (!benzine;
Fluid valve. The object of the present invention is a valve for fluids (benzine, gas, etc.) comprising a box and a rotating nut and at least two channels.
The valve is charac terized by the fact that these channels open into the valve box and that the valve nut has on its axis of rotation a bore communicating with one of the channels die la, box, this bore being connected by a channel to an orifice which, when the valve nut is turned,
moves on a circle on which there is a light in communication with the channel of the box.
An embodiment of the object according to the invention -is shown, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing which shows:
Fig. 1 a side view of the rabinet, FIG. 2, a front view -du valve, FIG. 3 a view. , die face, out of the box without the nut,
fig. 4 a vertical section of the valve and fig. 5 and 6 -two side views of pieces of Idetail. The valve for fluids (benzine, gas, etc.) has a box 1, provided with two channels 2 and 3 with steps. .de viii exterior.
The pipe 3 communicates with a channel 4 which opens out in the axis of a chamber 5 adapted to the lower part of the valve box 1. This cylindrical chamber is provided with an external screw thread onto which a screw can be screwed. oylindriqùe sleeve 6 (fig. 5)
provided with longitudinal intake slits and closed by a cover. A filter 7 (fig. 6) fits on the sleeve 6 and rests, on the one hand, against the cover -du sleeve and, on the other hand, on the valve box. It is sized so that it cannot move in this position.
The sleeve 6 and the filter 7 are arranged, under a. cap 8 screwed onto the valve box 1 and thus forming a chamber or tank @ d @ e, decantation 9. A plain seal ring 10 is placed between the valve box 1 and the edge of the cap 8 to ensure a complete waterproofing of the bonnet.
A channel 11, of which the: two V-shaped branohes dlébuch & ns, the chamber 9, thus ensuring communication between this chamber 9 and a bore 12 located in the valve box 1.
This bore 12 is extended, in the same axis, by a new bore 13 as far as .in the valve nut 14 which is disposed inside the box 1 and rests on a seal ring 15 and which is pressed into a seat by an elastic ring 16.
This elastic ring 16 is m @ antenüe against the valve box 1 by means of -two fixing lugs 16a. To -maintain the valve nut in place, we can provide other positive fixing devices than the two amn- tio-nnated tabs, for example dies. Nuts:
with pressure springs.
The bore 13 is in the axis of rotation of the valve nut 14 which is actuated by means of a lever handle 17.
A channel 1 $, coming out radially from the bore 13, opens on the surface of the valve nut pressed against the ring the seal 15, -in such a way,
that its outlet orifice moves in a circle when turning the valve nut. Four other bores 19, 20, 21 and 22 are arranged, on a same, circle, in the box, die valve 1.
The bores 19 and 20 are connected to the tubing 2 by means of the channels 23 and 24, respectively, and the -channel 23 opens into the pipe segment 25.
In the embodiment shown in the drawing, - the other two bores 21 and 22 only communicate with the outside. The valve box 1 could still have other tubings @ -in
which could unclog, by means; @d! e appropriate channels; the bores 21 and 22. The seal ring 15 has passage openers, die such that by turning the valve nut,
the various bores 19 to 22 can communicate through the channel 13 and, from the latter, @ thanks to the hauling 12 and the eaival _ 11, with the chamber 9.
The embodiment -d'execution of the object of the invention shown, by way of example, by the accompanying drawing, allows the communication to be either of the segment of the pipe 25 or of the channel. 24 with chamber 9, so that the flude (! Benzine;
gas, etc.) can pass @ from channel 4, after passing through filter 7, either through channel 23 or through channel 24 and its flow can, as required., be stopped by turning the valve nut> Of course, other channels can be foreseen which could be put in communicatio; optionally, with a single channel.
A filter could also be adapted to the tubing 2 through which the fluid (benzine, gas, etc.) would pass from the channels 23 and 24 or, from the channel 24 only. We could also do without filters completely if we did not need to subject the fluid (benzine, gas, etc.) to one. any filtering.
The valve described above is therefore used as a -distribution -or distribution valve, in which the fluid enters through the pipe 3 and leaves through one of the channels 23 or 24 after having passed through the chamber 9.
The valve can also be used such that the fluid enters chamber 9 either through -channels 23 or 24 and then exits through -channel 4.
The mode -of use of the tap writes first: will have its advantage when the fluid -have to be supplied several times, @ anêIig that the second mode of use will be preferable when it comes to fluids, dke different genres.
The form @of construction of the valve for fluids (benzine, gas, etc.) is such that it makes it possible to easily remove and put back in place., To clean or to change the filter 7 without being obliged,
to use special tools. The filter can hardly be deformed or deteriorated, for it is mounted on a sleeve with great rigidity. - vertical openings.
Another form of running the tap according to the invention would be a simple straight tap; the tubing 3 -would then replace the chamber 9, while. that the latter, as well as the filter 7, would be removed and that the channel 11, with two V-shaped branches, would be replaced by a single channel .débou chant in falésags 12.
