Condensation steam power plant with feed water preheating. In the known arrangement of a steam power plant with feedwater preheating by bleed steam, shown schematically in FIG. 1 of the drawing, the steam generator a feeds the turbine b. The steam is condensed in the condenser c and the condensate is conveyed by the condensate pump d into the medium-pressure tank f, from where it passes through the feed pump g back into the steam generator a. It has been recognized that a substantial saving in coal is achieved if the condensate in the preheaters e1 and e2 is preheated by bleeding steam from turbine b.
The condensate of the heating steam can, as indicated by dashed lines in the diagram, be returned to the condenser c via the condensate cooler h, or it can be pumped directly into the main condensate line using a so-called preheater pump.
The higher the preheating, the greater the heat savings. On the other hand, it was desired to have a water storage facility in the medium-pressure tank f which, depending on the care taken in the steam generator monitoring, should be sufficient for 20 minutes to 1 hour of operation if no more condensate flows. In larger systems, this results in containers of 100 m3 and more. The steam pressure of the water contained therein prevails in the container, ie 1 kg / cm 'abs at 100 C feed water temperature. and at 135 C already over 3 kg / cm2 abs. The wall thickness and therefore the price of the container grow rapidly with the intended temperature of the water.
For this reason, it has been customary to this day, if you wanted to preheat to a higher temperature, to assign a part of the preheater (e ", in the diagram) after the medium pressure tank and after the feed pump.
The preheaters e ,, are under boiler pressure, are mostly spatially removed from the turbine and the low-pressure preheaters and, which is particularly disadvantageous, are no longer organically assigned to a turbine, as is desired. When several turbo groups are operated in parallel, they are mostly fed by a joint boiler system which also has a joint tank f and joint feed pumps g.
As a result, the amount of feed water that flows through the pre-heater e2 is no longer in proportion to the load on turbine b, which supplies the heating steam.
With modern high-pressure steam generators with a small water content and great controllability of the furnace, you can get by with a very small water reservoir in normal operation. On the other hand, there must be a larger supply of purified and de-aerated feed water and the possibility of storing larger amounts of water, for example when a boiler is emptied, must be available.
The invention now relates to a condensation steam power plant with feed water preheating by bleed steam and a feed water storage tank and consists in that in at least one of the main engines after the last preheater to the condensate line, an equalizing tank with two float valves arranged at different levels is connected which have the effect that when the upper level limit is reached, excess condensate is pumped into the feed water storage tank, and when the lower level limit is reached, feed water from the storage tank is added to the condensate line.
After the example in Fig. 2 Darge presented system according to the invention, a small pressure vessel f 1 is attached to the condensate line after the last before warmer e2. This container f 1 is not a flow-through container as in the case of FIG. 1, but only an equalizing vessel with an upper and a lower float valve s1, respectively. s2. If the level wants to rise above the mark 1, the valve s1 opens and allows excess condensate, which is conveyed by the condensate pump d, to flow into the storage tank f2. Conversely, if the level wants to drop below the mark 2, feed water is supplied to the condensate line from the storage tank f2 via the open float valve s2.
The storage tank f2 is advantageously designed to be closed and connected to the vacuum system of the condenser in order to store the deaerated water as much as possible. But this is not absolutely necessary. If necessary, you can be satisfied with an open container, the more so than you can lead the water through the lower preheater e1 or the condensate cooler h into the condenser, so that it enters a little warmer than the evaporation pressure of the condenser. In this way the make-up water is completely vented. The storage container f2 can be shared for all engines, and thus serve for all boilers. If there are several power machines, each power machine can be assigned an equalizing tank.
In this way you achieve that all preheaters in low resp. Medium-pressure construction can be carried out so that they are only assigned to their own engine, as desired, and that only a cheap feedwater equalization tank is required. Operation in the preheater is completely automatic.
