Le brevet principal décrit un dispositif de verrouillage et de déverrouillage -des cadres porte-lisses, .dans leur position de fin de course inférieure, en synchronisme avec le passage des navettes, dans un métier à tisser circulaire;
Device for locking and unlocking the heald-carrying frames in their lower end-of-travel position, in a circular loom.
The main patent describes a device for locking and unlocking the heddle-holder frames, in their lower end-of-travel position, in synchronism with the passage of the shuttles, in a circular loom;
the beam-carrying frames are each lowered by a separate cam, and one of the elements of the return linkage of each frame is retained at will, in the position for which this frame is lowered, by a positive locking device elastic can be at. will placed in a resting position or in a working position.
According to the embodiment described in the main patent, the raising of each beam carrier frame each time the cam allows it and the snap-fastening device is in the rest position, is produced by the action of a spring .
The object -of the present invention is to substitute for the action of said spring for the positive action of a cam on the return linkage and to arrange this linkage so that it can be disengaged and, consequently, stop. to transmit to the beam-carrying frame the movement that said cam constantly impresses on one of its elements.
To this end, the rod assembly comprises two elements capable of sliding relative to one another, and a coupling member which normally secures these elements to one another.
The linkage is disengaged by means of the resilient latching device which can be placed at will in a rest position or in a working position and which, in the latter position, acts on said coupling member of so as to put it in the disengaging position and, consequently, to make it independent of the.
controls the second linkage element by the cam. In a preferred embodiment, this second element is connected to the door frame = smooth, so that the latter can then remain retained in the lower end-of-travel position by the resilient locking device.
The cam acting on the linkage in the upward direction of the beam-carrying frame may moreover be the same as that which is used to lower this frame; it suffices for this that the linkage is arranged to be positively moved by this single cam in both directions.
The device shown by way of example in the main patent is very robust and absolutely safe in operation.
The device according to the. The present invention offers the same advantages and, moreover, additional advantages in that it allows positive control of the movement of the heddles by the cams, both downwards and upwards, and thus makes it possible to avoid the use of springs and the resulting movements: the locking and unlocking device according to the present invention can however be used on a loom in which the movement. return of the beams upwards is caused by a return spring.
In some embodiments of the positive say according to. present invention, one can. use elastic tension-working ratchets when they hold the beam control rods.
The appended -dessin shows, by way of example purely indicative and in no way limiting. one embodiment of the device forming the subject of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view in partial section along a vertical plane not sant through the axis of a circular loom provided with said embodiment of the device.
Figs. 2 to 5 show, on a larger scale, the cams and the locking devices in different positions.
The loom shown in FIG. 1 comprises a vertical nozzle 1, circular and fixed, through which descends the fabric formed by the warp threads 2-3, which pass through the heddles 4-5. The frames 6-7 in which these beams are mounted are all disposed. around the. nozzle 1, following the faces of two or more coaxial vertical prisms. They are guided vertically by means .de rigid rods 8-9 sliding through fixed plates 10-1l, integral with the frame, not shown, of the loom.
To produce the beat of the frames. two camshafts _4 are placed symmetrically with respect to the loom. and each carry as many cams 12-13 as there are frames on the corresponding half of the loom.
Each cam 12, respectively 13. controls the corresponding frame by the intermediary of a lever 14, respectively 15, pi voting freely. on an axis 16 parallel to the camshaft _4 and a linkage comprising an elbow lever 17, respectively 18. and rods 26, 27, 21. respectively 37. 38, 2? , connecting this bent lever to the lever 14. respectively 15. on the one hand, and to the frame 6, respectively 7, on the other hand.
Well in tension, due (the arrangement in a.rc of circle of the frames 6 and 7, and consequently of the levers 17 and 18, the rods 26, 27. respectively 37, 38, have lengths in relation to the distances from said levers 17 and 18 to levers 14 and 15.
The two cams 1.2 and 13 relating to the same pair of frames are wedged so that these two frames are lowered in turn during ehaqae revolution of the shaft A, as long as the normal operation of the loom lasts. In addition, the profile of these cams is such that they constantly press on the two rollers 24, 40 and 25-39, respectively secured to the levers 14 and 15.
The horizontal links are in two parts 26, 27, 37, 38 respectively, such as the. part 26, respectively 37, can smooth in the other part 27, respectively 38, which is hollow. During normal operation of the loom. these two elements are united by means of the spout 28. respeeti- vely 44.
Tune; arm 29. respectively 45, supported by the base 30, respectively 16, integral with the hollow connecting rod 27. respectively 38. and constantly urged to lock by the spring 31. respectively 46 The sliding rods 26, 37 respectively, all have the same length.
The hollow connecting rods 27, respectively 38, alone vary in length as a function of the distances from the levers 14 and 15 to the axes 23, so that all the triggers 29 and 45 are, when all the frames are in the lowered position, arranged on a same line parallel to shaft A.
In order to retain lowered, if necessary, all the heddles and therefore all the warp son, there is provided, parallel to each axis A, a support 32 on which are fixed elastic strips 43 and 47 -disposed so as to be able to act, in the manner of retaining pawls on the extensions of the triggers 29 and 45 when the levers 14 and 15 have been pushed back by their respective cams. These extensions are each provided with a nozzle ide retained moving within the radius of action of one of the elastic blades.
The elastic blades 43 and 47 can be raised or lowered by simply pivoting an engagement control shaft 33 of square section; pressing on ridged blades 34, pivoting around an axis 35 and themselves pressing on the blades 43 and 47.
This shaft can be turned - at a certain angle either by hand, or under the action - of a mechanism triggered by a thread breaker of any type operating automatically under the influence of the breaking - of a thread. frame of any shuttle.
In the rest position shown in fig. 2, the maneuvering shaft 33 is turned in such a way that all the blades are lowered suf ficiently to leave the triggers completely free to move back and forth under the action of the levers and cams.
When the shaft 33 is brought into its working position in the direction indicated by the arrow f in FIG. 3, for example at a moment when the levers 15 are pushed back by the cams 13, the blades 47 come to be placed in front of the nozzles 49 of the extensions of the triggers 45 corresponding to the levers 15, while the blades 43 come into position d 'waiting for hooking of the slats 48 of the triggers 29 corresponding to the levers 14, as shown.
The cams 13, continuing to rotate, press on the set of connecting rods 37 which, already stressed by the traction of the chain wires, cause the trigger to pivot and unlock the two connecting rods 37 and 38, including the one, 38, remains motionless and thus maintains the frames in the lowered position, while the other, 37, continues to move back and forth in the hollow part of the rod 38, under the action of the cam 13 and lever 15.
During this time, the cams 12 also rotate and the blades 43, which were in the standby position, hook on the jaws 48 - triggers 29 corresponding to the levers 14. From this moment, all the frames being lowered, the warp yarns form an annular layer above which the shuttles can continue to circulate. The loom can then be stopped and it is easy to make the necessary repairs and changes.
When the normal operation of the trade is to be re-established, the shaft 33 is pivoted back to the rest position. The melles 43 and 47 therefore lower and release the nozzles 48 and 49 ides triggers 29 and 45, which lock the .two links 26, 27, 37, 38, respectively, as soon as the notch 19, respectively 50, of the sliding rod 26, respectively 37, is presented opposite the slot 42, respectively 51, of the hollow rod 27,
respectively 38, that is to say, during the first revolution of the camshaft, so that the reciprocating lowering of the frames begins again in accordance with the rotation of the shuttles and that they engage in the crowd thus reformed.
