Description
Schleifmaschine.
Grinding machine. The present invention relates to a grinding machine whose grinding spindle is directly coupled to a motor.
So far, the grinding spindles in such machines were only stored twice. This has the disadvantage that the armature of the motor easily starts to vibrate, which is noticeable in the uneven speed of the grinding spindle. Such machines are therefore unsuitable for precision work.
According to the invention, this drawback is eliminated in that the grinding spindle is supported three times. This is preferably done in such a way that the grinding spindle is mounted on one side of the motor by means of two adjustable slide bearings, while on the other side of the motor it is by means of a roller bearing.
The accompanying drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Therein the only figure represents an axial section through the spindle support of the grinding machine. The grinding spindle 2 carrying the grinding wheel 1 is on one side of the motor 3 by means of the adjustable bronze sliding bearings 4 and 5 and on the other side of the motor 3 by means of a ball bearing 6 existing rolling bearings stored in the grinding support. The latter consists of parts 7 and 8, which touch in a right plane perpendicular to the grinding spindle axis. The two parts 7 and 8 together form a cavity 9 in which the motor 3 is accommodated.
The stator 10 of the motor is screwed to the support parts 7 and 8. Thanks to the triple bearing shown, armature vibrations can be avoided and the speed of the spindle 2 is easy and quiet, so that the grinding machine is very well suited for precision work.
