Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausbildung des Elektromotors mit am Läufer angeordneten Werkzeugen zum Schleifen, Polieren oder anderweitigen Bearbeiten von Außenzylinderflächen, insbesondere an Kurbelzapfen, nach Patent 537 177. Nach diesem Patent sind die Werkzeuge an der Innenseite des in an sich bekannter Weise hohl ausgeführten Läufers, dessen Achse konzentrisch zur Werkstückachse umläuft, untergebracht, derart, so daß sie das im axialen Kanal des Läufers liegende Werkstück gleichzeitig berühren. Dabei können der Läufer und das in seinem axialen Kanal untergebrachte Werkstück zur Erhöhung der Schleifgeschwindigkeit natürlich auch in entgegengesetzten Richtungen umlaufen. Statt nun den Läufer zentrisch anzuordnen, wird er gemäß vorliegender Erfindung exzentrisch gelagert. Dadurch wird die an sich bekannte den Grobschliff fördernde Wirkung erreicht, daß die einzelnen Schneiden usw. der Schleifkörner in den Schleifbacken stetig in das Werkstückmaterial ein- und wieder austreten und sichelförmige Späne herausschneiden, die leicht abgeführt werden im Gegensatz zu den zentrisch umlaufenden Schneidbacken, wo die Schneiden einmal eingetreten, im Werkstückmaterial verbleiben, die (Grob-) Schleifwirkung also infolge schlechter Späneabfuhr beeinträchtigt wird.
