La présente invention concerne un instrument dentaire, dit ,;oontre-angle", com- portant une tête porte-outil orientable autour d'un axe, dont les organes de fixation au corps de l'instrument comportent un manchon de centrage, lequel porte des organes coopérant, d'une part, avec une denture de la tête porteoutil et, Id'autre part, avec une denture du corps de l'instrument, pour fixer la tête porte-outil dans la position angulaire relative voulue par rapport au corps, et un écrou de blocage servant à maintenir assemblés la tête, le manchon et le corps.
Le dessin annexé représente, Åa titre d'exemple, une forme d'exéeution de l'ins- trument selon l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une coupe longitudinale d'une partie de l'instrument.
Les fig. 2 et 3 représentent des variantes d'exécution du manchon denté.
Sur la fig. 1, une couronne 3 solidaire du corps 1 de l'instrument 'comorte une denture 2. Un tube 6 solidaire de la tête porte-outil 4 comporte une 'denture 5.
La tête porte-outil 4 est centrée sur le corps 1 au moyen d'un manchon de centrage 7, introduit dans la couronne 3. Le manchon, de surface extérieure cylindrique, lisse, porte une bague dentée 8 chassée sur lui, coopérant, d'une part, avec la denture 2 de la 'couronne 3 et, d'autre part, avec'la denture 5 du tube 6. Un écrou de blocage molette 9, vissé sur un filetage 10 du corps 1, sert à maintenir assemblés la tête porteoutil, le manchon de centrage et le corps.
Le manchon de centrage 7 sert de palier à l'arbre d'entraînement, non représenté, entraînant par des engrenages d'angle, non représentés, le mandrin porte-outiq 16.
Les dentures de la couronne dentée 3 et du tube 6 sont représentées sur les fig. 2 et 3 avec des flancs inclinés par rapport à l'axe du manchon de centrage 7, permettant d'obtenir une fixation angulaire et axiale sans jeu de la tête porte-outil sur le corps.
L'assemblage du tube 6 sur la couronne 3, par l'intermédiaire du manchon de cen- trage 7 et de l'organe 8 assure également une position axiale sans jeu du manchon et une marche silencieuse de l'instrument, l'arbre tournant dans le manchon 7 ayant ainsi une position axiale bien déterminée, néecssaire à l'engrènement correct des engrenages d'angle entraînant le mandrin 16.
L'assemblage de la tête porte-outil sur le corps au moyen de dentures permet de donner à la tête porte-outil 4 diverses positions angulaires par rapport au corps 1; l'axe du mandrin 16 ; est ainsi orientable dans un plan.
Sur la fig. 2, la bague dentée 8 chassée sur le manchon de centrage ne comporte que deux paires de dents 13 et 14 diamétralement opposées, ce qui facilite la fabrication.
Sur la fig. 3, le manchon de centrage 7 porte deux goupilles 15 diamétralement opposées.

The assembly of the tool-holder head on the body by means of teeth makes it possible to give the tool-holder head 4 various angular positions with respect to the body 1; the axis of the mandrel 16; is thus orientable in a plane.
