Umstenervorrichtung an Brennkraftmaschinen.

Reversing device on internal combustion engines. The invention relates to a Umsteuervor- direction on internal combustion engines with at least two control shafts, which are rotated when changing the direction of rotation of the crankshaft by different large angles relative to the latter, and consists in that one of the control shafts is driven by the crankshaft and when changing the direction of rotation of the crankshaft is rotated by a reversing auxiliary motor operated with a pressure medium,
that also another control shaft is coupled by a Antriebvor direction with the first-mentioned control shaft, with a change in the direction of rotation of the crankshaft part of this drive device is moved by a pressure piston along its axis and thereby an additional rotation of the second-mentioned control shaft compared to the erstge called Control shaft causes, and that finally the pressure chambers of the pressure piston with the pressure chambers of the reversing auxiliary motor for the former. Control shaft are connected.
This allows the advantage of a simplification of the reversal of the control shaft when the direction of rotation of the crankshaft changes, by only a single control slide can be provided, which is to be operated and the rotation of the control shafts with certainty, and also the number of Pressure medium lines can be reduced.
Advantageously, the reversing auxiliary motor is designed as a clutch-like member, since it has two concentric main parts, one of which is in mechanical connection with the crankshaft and the other with the first-mentioned control shaft, and one of these parts has at least one wing or one. Rotary piston is provided and opposite the other of these parts, which are respectively with recesses for the wing. Rotary piston is seen ver, in the two end positions for vor wärts- or. The reverse gear of the machine can rotate and is held in these end positions during operation.
In the drawing, three Ausfüh approximately examples of the subject invention are shown schematically.
FIG. 1 shows the longitudinal view of an internal combustion engine with two control shafts and an interposed helical gear as a drive device for the second control shaft, FIG. a section 11-II from Fig. 1 through the reversing device, which is used to rotate the first control shaft, Fig. 3 and 4 the angles,
around which the control shafts respectively. the cams arranged on the same and the helical gear must be rotated in relation to a certain position of the associated crank when controlling IT, Fig. 5-7 further versions of the drive device.
The internal combustion engine in Fig. 1 has a control shaft 1 for the fuel pumps 2, 2 ', which is driven by the shaft 3 with the cure 4, 4' via the gearbox 5. The reversing auxiliary motor 6, 7 provided for reversing the control shaft 1 forms part of the drive 5. On the control shaft 1, the cams 8, 8 'for driving the fuel pumps 2,?' arranged. On the same ZVelle 1, the helical gear 9 with the pressure piston 10 is arranged to be longitudinally displaceable and drives the control shaft 14 via the screw 11, the 'shaft 1.2 and the gear 13.
The control shaft 14 is thus coupled to the control shaft 1 with the drive device 9, 11 formed as a helical gear transmission. The cams 15, 15 'for driving the control valves 1.6, 16' of the starting valves 17, 17 'are seated on this shaft 14.
The pressure piston 10 is arranged in the housing 6 of the auxiliary reversing motor 6, 7. The pressure chambers 18 and 19 belonging to the auxiliary engine are connected by channels 20 and 21 with the pressure chambers 22 and 3 (FIG. 2). The pressure medium is supplied to the pressure chambers 18, 19, 22, 23 from the pressure medium supply line 27 by means of the control slide 24 and the lines 25 and 26. discharged from the same via the drain line 28.
3 and 4 each have a cam 8 'of the fuel pump 2' and a cam 1.5 'for the control valve 16' of the Anla.ssventils 17 'and the helical gear 9, 11 in its position for forward travel I', based on the inner dead center position of the associated crank 4 'is shown.
The reversing auxiliary motor is designed as a clutch-like element and has two concentric main parts 6, 7, one being mechanically connected to the crankshaft and the other to the control shaft I. The inner part 7 has two wing pistons, while the outer part 6 is provided with recesses for the wing pistons.
By turning the reversing slide 24 into its rts position 1i, pressure medium is passed from the supply line 2 7 through the splitting 25, the annular space 29 and the channels 30 and 21 into the pressure chambers 23 and 19, with pressure medium then from the chambers 22 and 18 through the channels 20 and 31 into the annular space 32 and from there through the line 26, the slide 24 flows to the drain 28.
As a result, the inner part 7 of the reversing auxiliary motor and thus the control shaft 1, the cams 8, 8 'and the helical gear 9 to the central angle 33 (Fig. 2 and 3) in the reverse position R rotates ver. At the same angle 33, the control shaft 14 with the cams 15, 15 'is also rotated (FIG. 4).
At the same time, however, the pressure piston 10 is displaced along the control shaft 1 into the reverse position R (Fig. 1), whereby it displaces the part () of the drive device along its axis, causing an additional rotation of the helical gear 11 and the control shaft 14 he follows. This results in the control shaft 14 being rotated through a total central angle 34, which in this case is greater than the angle 33.
In Fig. 5, the pressure piston 10 moves the helical gear 11 along the shaft 12 by means of the angle lever 35, the additional rotation of the shaft 12 occurs. In FIGS. 6 and 7 the pressure piston 10 is connected to a sleeve 36 which encloses the shaft 14. The sleeve 36 has a screw-shaped groove 37 which cooperates with the pin 38 of the shaft 14 which forms a guide body.
If the sleeve 36 is axially displaced by the pressure piston 10 in the backward position .R, the pin 38 slides in the groove 37 and thus causes the additional rotation of the control shaft 14. The sleeve 36 and part 38 form the drive device with which the Control shaft 14 is driven by the control shaft 1.
