. . . a -1; bezeichnet.
Das System besteht aus neun. Linsen L1, L,...

Spherical, astigmatic and comatic lens corrected for one or more colors. A fast lens has become known which, with an aperture ratio of over 1:
1 in its focal plane on the image side still distinguishes an image field with a diameter of about a quarter of the objective focal length with good sharpness, i.e. H. for an angle of view of approx. 15. spherical, asti, gmatic and comatic is corrected for one or more colors.
This expansion of the bilay field can be exceeded by far with the objective according to the invention. This lens, the lens system of which consists of six elements standing in the air, is characterized by the fact that the front outer element is converging and this element is followed by two dispersing elements that are meniscus-shaped and have their hollow sides facing towards one another Outer link is dispersing and two gathering links precede it,
and that at least one of the two dispersing inner members has a lower dispersing refractive power than the rear outer member.
With approximately the same aperture ratio as in the known case, such a lens can be designed so that it is corrected for an image field that extends to twice and more of the value previously achieved above. With these high-speed lenses, a particularly extensive reduction of the errors affecting the image sharpness is necessary, and this requirement makes the lens according to the invention the relatively large number of at least six lenses with at least twelve surfaces bordering on glass and air necessary.
The disturbances and losses caused by this can, however, be kept within such limits by appropriate treatment of the lens surfaces in a known manner that the light intensity possible with a large opening is also largely achieved.
The performance of the lenses can possibly be increased if one or more of the refractive elements are formed by combining two or more lenses which may be cemented to one another or separated from one another by an air lens that is thin in its size.
It is understood that the objective according to the invention can be used both for imaging on a reduced and on an enlarged scale. In the first case the surface of the lens which is assumed above to be the foremost is usually facing the thing, in the latter case the picture.
In the drawing and in the table below, for example, the lens system of an embodiment of the objective according to the invention with an aperture ratio of 1: 0.95 is indicated, which is spherical, astiamatic for an image angle of over 30 " and is komatisell corrected for wavelengths from about 650 to 430 my. The specifications for the dimensions are based on a focal length of the lens of 100 mm.
The radii of the optically effective surfaces of the objective = ind with r1, r. . . . a -1; designated.
The system consists of nine. Lenses L1, L, ... L ,,, of which the lenses L_ and L3, L, and L, so-ie L ,, and L; are combined in pairs to form a limb standing in the air - are collected.
