Die Impulse wurden durch eine auf eitre harte Metallplatte fal lende, aus hartem 3Zetal.l, bestehende Kugel als Impulskontakt erzeug-t. Bekanntlich ist bei einigen Zentimetern Fallhöhe die Berilli- rungszeit in der für die;
Iniprilsdaiier ange gebenen Grössenordnung.

Circuit for an indicator that is excited in pulses, in particular a relay. Current-sensitive relays and other indicators, such as incandescent lamps and the like, with a not inconsiderable inertia can generally not respond to pulses of shorter duration.
For example, the shortest response value of an electromagnetic pulse relay is around a millisecond; a much shorter pulse, for example 10 microseconds in duration, cannot cause the relay to respond, even if the energy source is large enough to provide the necessary energy during such a short pulse duration.
The circuit according to the invention eliminates this disadvantage in that, as is known for delay purposes, a capacitor of such dimensions is connected in parallel to the indicator that the discharge current of the capacitor charged by the short pulse causes the indicator to respond. If a relay is used as an indicator, the discharge current of the capacitor causes it to attract.
The capacitor can be selected to be so large that: The drop occurs with a delay in a manner known per se.
With impulse: sea positions with. For example, in a closed circuit, a one-way rectifier, for example a dry rectifier, must be switched in front of the relay, since the capacitor cannot discharge via the closed line.
If the direction of the impulses cannot be determined beforehand or if it is a matter of high-frequency alternating impulses, s; o, it is advisable to use a parallel connection, for example in a direct current bridge, i.e. H. a Grätz circuit .laid.
In the fig. 1 to 3 the subject matter of the invention is explained using examples.
In Fig. 1, 1 is a battery that is briefly connected to the winding of the relay 3 by means of the pulse contact 2. If the response time of the relay 3 is many times longer than the pulse duration, the relay 3 cannot even then respond when the voltage of the battery is a multiple of the continuous response voltage.
If now parallel to the relay coil .ein capacitor 4 is placed, so in the way in which it is used for Ahfallverzöberunb the relay in a known manner, the capacitor charges during the short pulse duration respectively at a sufficiently high voltage. with a sufficiently small supply unidirectional resistance so strongly that the charged energy,
causes the relay to pull in when the discharge occurs via the relay coil. The I1onden:, atn.r can now also be dimensioned so large that the relay also drops out with a delay. In the case of increased voltage, a series resistor 5 marked with a dashed line must be provided for the purpose of honing the pulse contact.
2 and 3 show an arrangement that can, for example, anspre chen to traveling waves as they can occur on trunk lines. If a traveling wave occurs in FIGS. 2 and 3 on the long-distance line 6, it can BEZW via the transformer 7. the throttle 8 and the EinwegbIeich- judge 9 respectively. the full-wave rectifier 10 act on the relay 11 with parallel-e@sclialt.etem capacitor 12, even if it has a high-frequency character.
If the -N # @ 'carries enough energy in a high-frequency form despite its short duration, the relay 11 responds.
Instead of the relay 11, an incandescent lamp can also be provided as an indicator in the example, which is marked, for example, with e 1 ne r 'S p n -Phot ozel 1 ena nor (1, ii u n - can be monitored.
Such an arrangement has the very great advantage that it works without auxiliary power sources and without crash discharge vessels on the receiver, and in particular does not require any quiescent currents.
In the following table, for a so-called telephone relay with 36000 windings and 6350 Ohm coil resistance for a pulse duration of around 10 microseconds, the associated pulse voltages, capacitor and resistor sizes are given.
The impulses were generated as impulse contact by a hard 3Zetal.l, falling on a hard metal plate. It is well known that with a fall height of a few centimeters, the grouting time is the same as for the;
Iniprilsdaiier specified order of magnitude.
