Absperrsehieber.
Gate valve. The subject of the invention is a shut-off slide for viscous and mushy masses with a ver sliding shut-off element in a housing, and is characterized in that the surface delimiting the closing element below with the shut-off surface forms an acute angle, so that a cutting edge-shaped lower edge is formed on the shut-off body.
The subject of the invention is shown on the drawing in an exemplary Ausfüh approximately.
Fig. 1 shows a section through the shut-off slide, Figure 2 shows a section along the pipe axis; Fig. 3 is a side view; Fig. 4 is a rear view; Fig. 5-7 are flow patterns when the valve is closed.
The housing of the gate valve is constructed in several parts and consists of the interconnected connection halves 1 and 2, to which the pipeline, not shown, is connected and between which the sliding shut-off element 3 is guided. An attachment 4 arranged on the connection halves 1 and 2 serves to mount the spindle 5 with handwheel 6 and to seal off the cylindrical part 13 of the shut-off element from the outside through the stuffing box 7.
The first connection half 1 carries the inlet nozzle 8 and the sealing surface 9 on which the shut-off element 3 rests and is moved when the slide is closed and opened. The second connection half 2 is provided with the outlet connection 10 and has the lateral guides 11 for the shut-off element 3. The part serving for blocking has a prismatic shape, the boundary surface 12 forming an acute angle with the sealing surface 9, for example in the case of viscous. Masses containing fibers and the like. Without being able to shut off the danger of being constrained by such parts.
On the prismatic shut-off body: is one with it. Piece forming cylindrical hollow Füh approximately body 13 is arranged, in the upper part of which internal thread 14 is cut and the in the attachment 4 BEZW. in the stuffing box 7 out and is sealed to the outside tet. With the attachment 4, the bracket 15 is connected, in the head 16 of which the spindle 5 is rotatable, but not axially displaceable ge superimposed. The same engages with its lower part in the thread 14 of the shut-off body 3 and carries the hand wheel 6 for turning the spindle 5 at its upper end.
The spindle 5 has an adapter 17 above the thread, which is secured axially immovably in the bracket head by the nut 18. To the outside, the cylindrical part of the shut-off organ is sealed by the stuffing box 7 with clamping nut 19.
The housing parts 1, 2 and 4 are respectively by nut. Studs connected to one another, they can just as well be held together in some other way. Fig. 5-7 show flow patterns with open and half-closed shut-off organ and the displacement of the shut-off mass through the cutting edge shape of the lower part of the shut-off device.
The gate valve can be made of any metal that is insensitive to acids, or made of ceramic material.
The free passage cross-section of the opening 20 of the inlet connection 8 is smaller than the free passage cross-section of the outlet opening 21. The lower wall of the outlet connection 22 is inclined at an acute angle to the sealing surface 9 and is lower than the lower edge of the inlet opening 20.
The boundary surface 12 is partially curved in a concave manner; it can also consist of straight surface parts that enclose an angle with one another. The lateral guides 11 extend as far as the cutting edge.
