Body for road, air and water vehicles, in particular cars. The common bodies for vehicles, especially cars, have the considerable disadvantage that the devices for opening and closing the same, in particular the doors, take up a relatively large amount of space. Apart from the fact that the usual double doors require a large floor area for parking and garaging a vehicle, the doors are often the cause of accidents in road traffic. These disadvantages are particularly evident in vehicles for military use.
The subject of the invention is a body for vehicles, in particular cars, in which the disadvantages mentioned should be eliminated in that the body at least in its central part, based on the longitudinal axis, has the shape of a tube with at least the inside at least approximately has a round cross-section and that at least individual parts of the body to create access BEZW. Output are rotatable about the longitudinal axis of this tube. In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject invention are shown schematically.
Fig. 1 shows a car in the side view; Fig. 2 shows a cross-section along the line A-A in Fig. 1; 3 and 4 show the same cross-section on a larger scale with the moving parts in different positions; Fig. 5 shows the side view of the second embodiment; Fig. 6 shows a cross-section along the line B-B in Fig. 5; 7 and 8 show the cross section according to FIG. 6 on a larger scale with different positions of the movable part, and FIG. 9 shows a detail of the second embodiment.
In the car according to FIG. 1, the middle part 1 of the body indicated by the arrow line I is, as shown in FIGS. 2-4. As can be seen, it is circular in cross section, namely the body in this part forms a double-walled tube which has the continuous connection 2 in the longitudinal direction at the apex of the body. On both longitudinal sides of this body part 1 from 3 sections for two doors 4 are arranged. The doors 4 themselves are arranged in guides between the inner and outer walls of the Karos series in such a way that they can be opened either on the left or on the right by countersinking.
In the doors 4, the windows 5 are arranged in a manner known per se, such that they can be lowered into the lower part of the doors 4. The shape of the body, which is round in cross-section, offers the essential advantage that the field of vision is significantly enlarged to the side. If necessary, adjustable sun blinds can be arranged, which are slidable in the guide grooves of the doors 4 and when not in use in the length grooves 6 place (Fig. 4). To ensure easy movement of the doors, they can run between rollers.
In general, the training shown is sufficient, after which either one or the other door can be opened. However, if it is important that both doors can be opened at the same time, the guides in the lower part of the body must be designed in such a way that the lower parts of the door can slide over one another. The movement of the doors can be made easier by arranging counterweights.
5-9 show an embodiment in which the dashed arrow 1I in Fig. 5 indicated middle Ka rosserieteil 1 has an upper part, wel cher can be lowered by rotation in the lower part of the body, whereby the arrangement of doors unnecessary at all.
The lower body part here forms a double-walled shell, semicircular in cross section, which is completed by round bottoms 7 (FIG. 9) at both ends and extends from the front to the vertical 8 (FIG. 5). In the space between the inner and outer walls of this shell, a rotor 9 is arranged as a movable part of the body; which can be rotated in the annular space of the shell so that, depending on its position, it closes the body or leaves it open with its cutout.
In the closure part of the rotor 9 (Fig. 6-8) windows 10 are arranged, which are expediently designed as sliding windows; which can be closed by upward movement and opened by downward movement: To facilitate the Dre hung of the rotor 9 and at the same time to prevent rattling in the annulus of the shell, a number of rollers 11 are arranged on the circumference of the rotor 9, which can be elastic .
The annular gap between tween the fixed tubular part of the body and the rotor 9 is covered by the cover strip 12, which can be provided with a spring engaging in the annular gap 11.
The drive shaft 13, as shown in FIGS. 2-4; between the fixed body part and the floor board 13 or, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, through a casing 14 arranged under the body.
The bodies described are particularly suitable for sports and touring cars, social cars and cars for military purposes. The construction has to be adapted to the special purpose of use.
The outer wall of the body need not necessarily, as shown in the exemplary embodiments, to run concentrically to the inner wall over the entire circumference: it can approach the usual rectangular shape in cross section, especially in the lower part, if one prefers less of the common design to deviate.
