Schneesehaufel. Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Schneeschaufel.
Zum Räumen des Schnees von Strassen, Waldwegen, Eisbahnen und dergl. werden vielfach Eisenschaufeln verwendet. Diese haben jedoch den Nachteil, dass sie bei ge nügendem Fassungsvermögen ein erhebliches Gewicht aufweisen, wodurch ihre Handhabung entsprechend erschwert wird. Macht man derartige Eisenschaufeln indessen leichter im Gewicht, so geht dies auf Kosten der Grösse des Schaufelblattes und somit des Fassungs vermögens der Schaufel. Ausserdem haben solche Eisenschaufeln den Nachteil, dass sich im Schaufelblatt nach längerem Gebrauche im Bereiche des Schaufelstielendes Risse bilden, so dass die Schaufeln vorzeitig un brauchbar werden.
Aus den angeführten Gründen werden vielerorts zum Räumen des Schnees Schau fell aus Holz verwendet. Solche Holz schaufeln sind in trockenem Zustande leichter als Eisenschaufeln und dementsprechend auch besser zu handhaben. Bei längerem Gebrauche nimmt das Holz jedoch bis zu einem gewissen Grade Feuchtigkeit auf, was zu einer un liebsamen Gewichtszunahme führt und die leichte Handhabung der Schaufel ebenfalls beeinträchtigt. Ausserdem verziehen sich solche Holzschaufeln fast immer, das heisst das Schaufelblatt erhält quer zur Stiellängs richtung eine konvexe Wölbung, so dass der Schnee leicht vom Schaufelblatt abrutscht, was wiederum zu einer Verringerung des Fassungsvermögens der Schaufel führt.
Es ist ausserdem bekannt, dass sich derartige Schaufeln aus Holz rasch abnutzen und leicht brüchig werden.
Alle diese Nachteile sollen bei der Schnee schaufel nach der Erfindung in Wegfall kommen. Zu diesem Zwecke besteht das Schaufelblatt aus Leichtmetall und weist auf der Rückseite im Bereiche dee Schaufelstiels eine ebenfalls. aus Leichtmetall bestehende, aufgenietete Veretärkungsplatte auf, wobei sowohl das Schaufelblatt wie auch die Ver- stäTkung,splatte mit je einer Ausbuchtung für die Aufnahme des Schaufelstiels aus gerüstet sind.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstan des dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 die Rückansicht des Schaufel blattes mit einem Stück des Stiels in schau bildlicher Darstellung und Fig. 2 das Schaufelblatt mit einem Teil des Stieles in perspektivischer Darstellung von vorn gesehen.
In dem dargestellten Beispiel bezeichnet 1 das aus Leichtmetall bestehende Schaufel blatt, das aus einer viereckigen Platte ge arbeitet ist. Die untere Kante 2 des Schau felblattes verläuft gerade, während das Schaufelblatt in seinem mittleren Teil sowohl in Richtung der Stiellängsachse wie auch in quer zu dieser verlaufender Richtung konkav gewölbt ist. Auf der Rückseite besitzt das Schaufelblatt eine ebenfalls aus Leichtmetall bestehende aufgenietete Platte 3, welche im Bereiche des benachbarten Endes des, Schau- felstiels4 angeordnet ist, und zurVerstärkung des Schaufelblattes an dieser besonders ge fährdeten Stelle dient.
Sowohl das Schaufel blatt wie auch die Verstärkungsplatte be sitzen je eine Ausbuchtung 5 bezw. 6 zur Aufnahme des Schaufelstiels 4.
Die vorstehend beschriebene Schaufel ist auch bei grösserem Fassungsvermögen leicht im Gewicht, sehr stabil und von grösster Dauerhaftigkeit sowie durchaus unempfind lich gegen Feuchtigkeit und absolut rostfrei.

In addition, such wooden shovels almost always warp, i.e. the shovel blade has a convex curvature transversely to the longitudinal direction of the handle, so that the snow easily slips off the shovel blade, which in turn leads to a reduction in the capacity of the shovel.
It is also known that such blades made of wood wear out quickly and become easily brittle.
All these disadvantages should be omitted in the snow shovel according to the invention. In the example shown, 1 denotes the blade made of light metal, which is ge works from a square plate.
