Boîte siphoïde. Il existe actuellement divers types de boîtes siphoïdes, utilisées dans le sol des chambres de bains, par exemple, comme si phon, et au travers desquelles passe l'eau provenant des baignoires, lavabos, etc.; mais la vidange de l'un de ces récipients provoque des barbotages dans la garde d'eau des autres. En effet, l'air emprisonné entre la garde d'eau d'une telle boîte et le récipient correspondant est chassé lors de la vidange de celui-ci et vient barboter au travers des gardes d'eau des autres récipients.
La boîte siphoïde faisant l'objet de cette invention comprenant une cavité destinée à être remplie d'eau permet de remédier à cet inconvénient; elle est caractérisée par une cloison amovible pénétrant dans cette cavité et présentant un conduit pour l'évacuation de l'air contenu dans la canalisation reliant ladite boîte à des récipients destinés à être vidangés au travers de celle-ci.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de la boîte siphoïde faisant l'objet de l'invention. La fig. 1 en est une vue axiale, et la fig. 2 en est une vue en coupe suivant I-I de la fig. 1.
La boîte siphoïde représentée comprend un conduit d'entrée 1, destiné à être relié à des récipients susceptibles d'être vidangés et une canalisation d'évacuation 2.
Cette boîte comprend une cavité 8 destinée à contenir de l'eau, elle est limitée par la paroi extérieure 4 de la boîte siphoïde et com porte deux cloisons 5 et 6; cette dernière est amovible et est maintenue en place au moyen de deux guides 7 et 8 faisant partie de la paroi 4. La paroi 4 et les cloisons 6 et 5 limitent un passage 9 permettant à l'eau pro venant du conduit d'entrée 1 de s'écouler vers la canalisation 2, ce passage 9 étant relié par un orifice 10 avec le reste de la cavité â.
La cloison mobile 6 est munie dans le voi sinage de son extrémité supérieure d'un con duit 11 permettant à l'air emprisonné entre le conduit d'entrée 1 et un récipient non re présenté de s'échapper, lors de la vidange de cet appareil, sans passer par la cavité 3 par exemple.
La boîte représentée possède à son extrë- mité supérieure une grille 1? au travers de laquelle peut s'écouler l'eau répandue à la surface du sol du local dans lequel cette boîte est placée. La cloison 6 étant amovible, le nettoyage de la cavité 3 est très facile et peut se faire à fond. Un bouchon<B>13</B> obture normalement un orifice que comporte la cloi son 4 et qui permet également de nettoyer la canalisation 2 et le tronçon correspondant du canal 9.
Siphoid box. The siphoid box shown comprises an inlet duct 1, intended to be connected to receptacles capable of being emptied, and an evacuation duct 2.
This box comprises a cavity 8 intended to contain water, it is limited by the outer wall 4 of the siphoid box and has two partitions 5 and 6; the latter is removable and is held in place by means of two guides 7 and 8 forming part of the wall 4. The wall 4 and the partitions 6 and 5 limit a passage 9 allowing water to come from the inlet duct 1 to flow towards the pipe 2, this passage 9 being connected by an orifice 10 with the rest of the cavity â.
The movable partition 6 is provided in the vicinity of its upper end with a duct 11 allowing the air trapped between the inlet duct 1 and a container not shown to escape, when this is emptied. device, without going through cavity 3 for example.
The box shown has at its upper end a grid 1? through which the water spilled on the surface of the floor of the room in which this box is placed can flow. The partition 6 being removable, the cleaning of the cavity 3 is very easy and can be done thoroughly.
