Zum Regulieren des Durchganges der Flüssigkeit von einem Querschnitt des Sehlauches zum andern, sind zwei Stössel 7 und 8 vorgesehen, die sich frei in. ihren im Gehäuse 1 vorgesehenen Laufsitzen '9 und 1,0 längs derselben Achse bewegen können;

Shut-off device for liquids, especially for corrosive liquids. The present invention relates to a shut-off device for liquids, namely for corrosive liquids, such as liquids, which attack metals.
According to the invention, this shut-off element is characterized by an elastic hose, means for compressing the hose, and drive elements for:
these means, all in such a way that the passage of the liquid can be regulated from one cross-section of the hose to another.
An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, in which: FIG. 1 shows an elevation in longitudinal section of the closed. Shut-off element, Fig. 2 and 3, two cross-sections showing the shut-off element in closed respectively. show when open.
With reference to the accompanying drawing, the shut-off element has a housing 1, similar to the section of a pipe res, in whose basically cylindrical longitudinal bore 2 an elastic hose, for. B. from KanIschuk, for regulating -. The passage of the liquid is inserted.
This elastic hose 3 is clamped at its ends 3 ', which are tightly located at the connection flanges 4: of the shut-off device, by the closure pieces 5, the outer pressure flanges 6 of which protrude partially beyond the inner edge of the flanges 4.
When the shut-off device is now installed, the connection flanges of the pipeline (not shown in the drawing) in: which it is seen: exert a pressure on said flange 6, whereby the elastic hose 3 on the inner wall of the bore 2, is pressed, so that a perfect seal is achieved.
To regulate the passage of the liquid from one cross-section of the visual tube to the other, two plungers 7 and 8 are provided which can move freely in their running seats 9 and 1,0 provided in the housing 1 along the same axis;
These plungers 7 and 8 move in opposite directions when the handwheel 12 is operated and, when the shut-off device is closed (Fig. 2), squeeze the hose 3 in the middle zone 3 "firmly together and prevent the liquid from being cross-sectioned on the other hand can move within the hose.
To move the plungers 7 and 8, a threaded spindle 11, a handwheel l? and two by means of the struts 1.5 firmly connected cross pieces 13 and 1-1 before seen, the threaded spindle 11 engages in an internally threaded bore of the cross piece 1-1, and the Stre ben 15 can slide freely in corresponding bearings 16 that are firmly are connected to the housing 1.
The threaded spindle 11 indirectly exerts a pressure on the ram 7, specifically via the ball 17, whereby the 1) rucl @ effel #: t said spindle remains directed towards the ram continuously parallel to its direction of movement.
In addition, the 'plungers 7 and 8 are equipped with ring-shaped stops 7' and 8 ', which have the purpose of limiting the effective displacement of the saber plungers so as not to exert an unfavorable flow of eggs on the hose 3. Finally, the plungers 7 and 8 are also equipped with one or more channels (not shown) that are intended for their air conditioning.
According to the above, the mode of operation is as follows: When turning the handwheel 12 and thereby the threaded spindle 11 .in one direction of rotation from the position shown in Fig. 3, a pressure is achieved on the plunger 7, whereby at the same time the crosspiece 11, the struts 15 and the crosspiece 13 are raised, which latter raises the plunger 8 in the Clegenlauf to the plunger 7.
If the handwheel is now turned in the opposite direction than before, the distance between the two plungers is never enough, and this restores the original position in which
