Pressure medium-operated control device with gate and main control elements, especially for motorized rudder adjustment devices in aircraft. The invention relates to a pressure medium-operated control device with pre-control and main control member, in particular for motorized rudder adjustment devices in flight, in which the main control member and the pilot control member controlling this are fed by the same pressure medium source.
There are Regeleinriehtungen known ge in which separate pressure medium sources are used for pre and main control organ. Such a device, however, has the disadvantage that it is complex and confusing in structure and has an unsatisfactory overall efficiency and high weight. Furthermore, devices have been known in which a common pressure medium source is provided for charging the pilot and main control elements, but pressure is taken from the same pressure line for both control elements.
These devices have the disadvantage that the pressure fluctuations that occur in the pressure line due to the servomotor working are transferred directly to the pilot control. As a result, an exact response of the control according to the specified tax rate is no longer guaranteed.
The aforementioned disadvantages should be taken when using a common pressure medium source according to the invention besei that the pilot and main control elements are connected in series in the pressure medium circuit that the main control element is in the pressure medium supply line of the servo motor, while the pilot control element is connected to the drain line of the same is connected with the provision of a pressure control element to keep the pressure constant in this line.
The invention is explained below using an exemplary embodiment illustrated in the drawing. In Fig. 1, the control device is shown cally, while Fig. 2 shows the control member in section. According to Fig. 1, the pump 6 promotes the pressure medium, for. B. C) 1, from a storage container through the filter 8 under a certain be, for the servo motor 1 (rudder motor) required operating pressure to the main control member arranged in the housing 2a.
From the Flauptsteuerorgan the pressure medium is either above or below the piston 1 'in the cylinder of the servo motor 1, depending on the predetermined control deflection, whereby the piston 1' moves either down or up and thereby the rod 1 "connected to the Kol However, since the pulse generator, which is moved according to the given control deflections, only releases control forces which are insufficient to adjust the main control element, the control pulses must be amplified by a pilot control.
The control pulse generator therefore does not act on the main control organ, but influences a pilot control nozzle needle 3. The pilot control then causes the main control organ to be shifted. The pilot nozzle needle is BEZW from the servo motor 1. from the main control organ discharging pressure medium charged, whereby by means of the pressure control valve 5 it is ensured that the pressure in the discharge line is always kept at a certain level required for the precise work of the pilot control.
The pressure medium can therefore not flow freely after work, as in known executions, but is BEZW after leaving the servomotor. of the main control element is dammed up to a certain pressure by an I) back control valve 5.
A certain amount is then fed via a branch line from the drain line and via the filter 7 to the pilot nozzle needle and can flow freely via a drain line 16 (FIG. 2), while the remaining amount not used for the pilot control can flow away via the pressure control valve 5 . In this device, the pilot pressure is independent of the load on the servo motor 1.
In the case of one-sided loading of the servo motor 1 up to the maximum pressure, the pressure medium no longer flows past the main control element, but via the pressure relief valve 4, and the pilot nozzle needle would no longer hold pressure medium if the pressure medium flowing out here were derived directly. The pressure medium flowing through the pressure relief valve 4 must therefore not flow out, but rather has to be introduced into the drain line of the servomotor upstream of the pressure control valve, as is shown in FIG. 1, for example.
According to FIG. 2, the pressure medium delivered by the pump 6 flows through the line 17 to the main control element, namely the control slide 2. The located in the drain line 20 and held by the pressure control valve 5 at a certain pressure, respectively from the servomotor 1 through the channel 18. 19 pressure medium flowing back to the control slide 2 is only supplemented in the zero position of the control slide 2 by the amount of pressure medium flowing out via the pressure relief valve 4 and passed through the nozzle 10 into the pilot control chamber 14.
Part of the pressure medium flowing out flows through the channel 21 branching off from the drain line 20 into the space 12 and there acts on the auxiliary piston 11. Since the pressure in the space 12 is exactly as great as in the space 14, the pressure surface 22 of the auxiliary piston 11 however, it is smaller than the pressure surface 23 of the control slide 2, the force exerted by the space 14 when the nozzle 9 is closed will predominate through the nozzle needle 3 controlled by the control pulse generator and move the control slide 2 to the right,
where the pressure line 17 is connected to the channel 19 leading to the servomotor and the discharge line 20 is connected to the channel 18 by means of the valve control edges. If the control slide 2 is to be returned to the central position and the control channels are thus closed, the nozzle needle 3 is partially withdrawn from the nozzle 9. As a result, the pressure medium located in the space 14 flows through the nozzles 15 at the right end of the control slide 2 into the space 13 and from there via the line 16 to an unpressurized level. By the outflow of the pressure medium.
In the space 14, the pressure on the surface 23 is reduced so that the control slide 2 is moved to the left by this piston due to the pressure on the surface 22 of the auxiliary piston 11. This movement continues until a state of equilibrium has been established, i.e. until the ring formed by the nozzle needle 3 with the nozzle 9 only allows enough pressure medium to flow through that the pressure on the surface 23 corresponds to the pressure on the surface 22 keeps the balance.
If the nozzle needle 3 is moved further to the left, the nozzle 9 is opened further, and more pressure medium flows out of the space 14, as a result of which the pressure in this space drops and, under the effect of the now predominant force on the auxiliary piston 11, the control slide 2 is moved further to the left until equilibrium is restored. The control slide 2 thus precisely follows the movements of the nozzle needle 3 influenced by the control pulse generator according to the predetermined control deflections.
The control also responds immediately in the zero position, since the pressure medium located in the pilot control chamber 14 and in the discharge line 20 is kept at a certain pressure by the pressure control valve 5 and, through inflow via the pressure relief valve 4, it is ensured that when the pilot control responds, the be required amount of pressure medium is available and thus the required pilot pressure is maintained.
The device according to the invention is not only suitable for motorized Ruderstellvorrich lines in aircraft, but can be used anywhere where large adjustment forces are to be released with low control forces.
