Fig. 3 ist ein Schaltbild von diesem Motor.
Facility for conveying stereoscopic image impressions. The invention relates to a device which serves to give an observer a spatial impression when projecting stereo images onto a screen, and which for this purpose contains rotary screens assigned to the projectors and the observer's eyes, each of which is driven by an alternating current synchronous motor is driven, the armature of which also has two distinct poles, in order to also run correctly rotating folds generated by the stator.
According to the invention a diaphragm is provided for each pro jector and for each eye and the arrangement is made so that the axis. of the projector respectively belonging to one of these apertures. Eye, lies in a plane containing the axis of rotation of the armature, which forms an angle with the central axis of an adjacent pole of the stator which is equal to the quotient of a right angle and the number of phases of the stator.
If the direction of rotation of the two projectors or the diaphragms associated with the affected eyes is made reversible, a stereoscopic effect is achieved after such a reversal, which is different from the one before the reversal of the direction of rotation (pseudoscopic instead of orthoscopic effect or vice versa) .
The diaphragms are expediently designed so that the number of their light transmission openings is the same as the number of phases of the stator.
As synchronous motors, two-phase hysteresis motors are expediently used, the armature of which carries a system of permanent Ma gnete that are designed and arranged in such a way that the armature receives two embossed poles, which ensures that the armature runs correctly in relation to the rotating field.
These motors are particularly advantageous when the observer is to wear the diaphragms assigned to him on his head, so when it comes to the motors, the lightest possible weight and compact arrangement. The most suitable for these motors is a screen with two openings offset from one another by <B> 180 </B>, the size of which is expediently dimensioned so that the light and dark periods are equal to each other.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the device according to the invention for a intended for the projection of stereo images on a screen double projection device is shown schematically. Figures 1 and 2 are views of a shutter connected to the armature of a hysteresis motor. Fig. 3 is a circuit diagram of this motor. 4a to 4 <1 illustrate the four diaphragms of the device in their mutual setting at one and the same time.
With a shaft a a disk b is firmly connected, which contains two circular holes c and d offset by 180, their axes. have the same distance from the axis of the shaft a and their diameters are chosen so that the two tangential planes intersecting in the axis of the shaft a at a hole enclose an angle of 45 "with each other. The armature e firmly connected to a two-phase hysteresis motor.
On the face of the armature e facing away from the disk b, a bar magnet f is attached so that its axis (calculated from pole to pole) with. the plane FE containing the two hole axes coincides. The motor's S ator has four fixed poles P-, P. ,, P., and P.,. The associated windings are W ,, W. =, IU "and ZV ,,
. With K is a capacitor and with I.l a changeover switch, through whose actuation the direction of rotation of the rotating field and 'thus the rotation direction of the armature e can be changed.
Each of the front panels b '(Fig. 4a) and b' '(Fig. 41>) for the left and right projector of the double projection device is to be thought of as being mounted on the projector in such a way that it of the two diaphragms with synchronous, in-phase running of the same around the axis of the associated shaft a 'or a ",
in the (opposite) directions indicated by solid arrows, only the axis of a single hole (c 'or <I> d' </I> or c 'or <I> d ") </I> with in the drawing by the intersection of an axbox 0 'or. 0 ", is provided axis of the projector can coincide.
Each projector axis has a solehe position to the poles .des belong to the stator that the through the projector axis and the axis of the associated shaft a 'respectively. ä ', certain plane that angle halved that the central axes of the poles Pi and P. which are closest to this level =' respectively. P, "and P2", form together.
This plane therefore forms an angle of <B> 90 '</B>: 2 - 45 with the central axis of an adjacent pole, where 2 is the phase number of the StaJors. The visor disks b "'(FIG. 4c) and b" "(FIG. 4 (1)) for the left and the right eye of the observer are to be thought of mounted on a spectacle frame to be worn by the observer that of the two visor disks with synchronous, phase-correct running of the same around the axis of the associated shaft a <B> ... </B> or ä "', in the (opposite) indicated by solid arrows
Directions in time only the axis of a single hole (c "'or <I> d </I> <B> \ </B> or c" "or <I> d" ") </I> with the one in the Drawing through the intersection of an axillary 0 "" or 0 "" ', shown eye axis can coincide.
Each eye axis has such a position to the poles of the associated stator that the plane defined by the eye axis and the axis of the associated shaft a "'and ä"' "bisects the angle at which the central axes of this plane are next lying poles P, "'and P2" "respectively. Include P, "" and P @ '"", together.
With synchronous rotation of the aperture panes <I> b ', b ", </I> b"' and b "" 'in accordance with the arrows shown by solid lines, the observer is presented with a spatial image that is accurate in depth.
Such a rotation guarantees that at any point in time that belongs to a position of the visor disks in which they are rotated by 45 compared to the position shown in the drawing, light from the left projector enters the left eye while in light from the right projector enters the right eye at any point in time that belongs to a position of the visor disks in which they are rotated by 225 compared to the position shown in the drawing. If a deeply inverted spatial image is to be presented (in which z.
B. an embossing appears as a deep embossing), then the direction of rotation of the aperture disks b 'and b "assigned to the projectors must be reversed, so that the dashed arrows then apply. Then from the left projector only light can enter the right eye and only light entering the left eye of the observer from the right projector.
