Spoon. The present invention is a spoon for removing substances that tend to be put on from containers and inaccessible niches of the same. According to the invention, the line connecting the centers of the cross sections of the spoon shell bends from the center line of the device shaft to the side and this line is also wound along a helical line.
On the accompanying drawing, a spatula spoon is shown as an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, wherein Fig. I, II and III show the spatula spoon from the front, from above and from the side; Fig. IV and V show this in section along the lines A-B respectively. C-D in Figure III; Fig. VI illustrates parts of the spoon in use on a bottle.
The device shown has the handle 2, at one end of which the spatula 1 and at the other end the spoon 3 is attached. The line connecting the centers of the cross-sections of the spoon shell (cuts along the line CD in FIG. III and cuts parallel thereto) is, as FIG. III shows, bent laterally from the center line of the device handle 2 and wound along a helical line so that the spoon shell 3 opposite the stem 2 is bent forward and at the same time laterally. The depth of the spoon bowl is increased by pulling up the side walls of the bowl. As can be seen from the drawing, the concave edge of the side hochgezo gene trough wall 4 is something. cut according to an arc of a circle.
This cut-to-size part of the concave spoon-trough edge lies opposite an elevation of the convex spoon-trough edge 5, seen in the direction of a plane lying perpendicular to the line connecting the centers of the cross-sections of the spoon-shell.
To increase the effect, the device is advantageously made of an elastic, hard, corrosion-resistant light metal alloy, preferably Anticoro, dal. In addition, an oxide layer produced, for example, by the Ematal process can be applied to the same. The edges of the spatula and the spoon bowl are sharpened somewhat to make these parts more effective when loosening the substance. The spatula spoon could also be made from another suitable material, for example in nickel, iron, porcelain, glass, wood, plastics, for example synthetic resin, galalith, etc.
The spatula end could be rotated 180 degrees with respect to the spoon end or arranged in a different position.
The wooden spoons commonly used in laboratories, pharmacies and drugstores. Horn, plastics, iron, nickel, etc. with a straight or curved handle or with a curved spoon axis cause trouble to punch out the sub stuck on the curved neck of the bottles or in the bottom throat. In the case of a spoon loaded with substance of a granular nature, the substance slips back slightly when it is pulled out.
The inelastic, heavy construction, especially the metal spoon, often causes the bottom or the wall of glass vessels to be pierced if one wants to remove stuck-on substance by poking. Spoons made of horn or plastic break often during the same attempt. The latter also have the disadvantage that certain substances stick to the surface of the spoon. Horn spoons cannot be cleaned with hot water, as the horny layers throw up during this treatment. Horn spoons or spoons made of plastic cannot be sterilized by flaming or boiling.
In contrast to the known designs, the described and drawn design of the spoon shell avoids the disadvantages mentioned. The spoon bowl can be placed close to the inner curve of the bottle and the substance to be dissolved can be completely removed. will. The substance falls into the spoon bowl and can be removed without the risk of falling out when pulling the device out of the bottle. You can also use the device to completely remove any substance from the bottom of a bottle.
