Kühlvorrichtung an elektrischen Maschinen.
Cooling device on electrical machines. In electrical machines, the cooling air is usually: introduced axially on one end face and, after flowing through the rotor and the stator, expelled on the other end face. Often one sees a branch from the cooling air flow before the next radial, z. B. through air slots, then extending in the axial direction the stator back and the winding heads be deleted. For larger axial dimensions of the machine and higher performance, this cooling already results in noticeable differences in the heating of the windings on the air inlet and on the air outlet side.
The consequence of this is an uneven thermal load, which forces individual winding parts to be over-measured, provided that a certain maximum temperature is not to be exceeded.
The cooling device according to the invention avoids these disadvantages and allows extremely powerful and uniform cooling even in axially long machines. This is achieved in that the cooling air is introduced on both sides of the rotor in the axial direction until it flows through the rotor towards the center, then in a radial direction through the rotor and then in a radial direction through the stator ,
then deflected and coated in both directions parallel to the axis of the machine the stator back and the winding heads and then pushed out through radially or axially directed outlet openings.
In the exemplary embodiments shown schematically in the drawing, the machine is shown in section. The cooling air enters the rotor through the central openings A. To achieve a suction effect, the rotor has B blades at the points. In the direction of the entered arrows, each of the two partial air flows reaches the center of the rotor and is then guided in the radial direction through the air slots E, so that effective acidic cooling of the rotor occurs.
In these air slots, approximately radially arranged webs are provided, distributed in the circumferential direction, which act as additional fans. The air slots E in the rotor are extended in correspondingly arranged air slots G in the stator. The cooling air then passes through the stator and is then deflected in the axial direction by the housing part H, passed over the stator back and the end windings K of the stator in order to pass through the main fans C, which are also attached to the rotor.
The fans C mainly act as suction fans and push the cooling air out through the openings L. In the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 1, the outlet openings are on the top of the machine and are formed by recesses in the housing M. In the housing M are 'more, in the middle ge placed openings D, through wel che additional fresh air is sucked in, which describes the remaining circuit mixed with the cooling air coming from the channels G of the stator. Sliders F on these are also expedient. Openings D seen in front to regulate the air inlet.
In the axial center of the rotor and the stator there are also partitions N, which have the effect that two identical cooling circuits that are symmetrical to one another and that do not interfere with each other are also located. The distributed to orderly fans allow the application of draft cooling, as shown in Fig. 2 as an example. The inlet openings at A can be intercepted by air ducts R, which are guided through the base of the machine. The outlet openings L located after the main fans C may be located in the upper housing part as in FIG. 1 or in the lower housing part according to FIG. 2.
In the latter case, the outlet openings will also be expediently connected to channels running through the base. Furthermore is. it is also possible to direct the air supply to the additional entry points at D through the machine base. A reduction in the cooling effect as a result of the large axial length does not take place in any of the variants because of the high pressure generated by the fans, and uniform ventilation and cooling of all machine parts is thus ensured.
