Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Umsetzungsproduktes der Chlorsulfonsäure. Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Umsetzungsproduktes der Chlorsulfonsäure beschrieben, bei dem man Chlorsulfonsäure mit Formamid behandelt.
Es wurde nun gefunden, @dass man eben falls ein ähnliches, technisch wertvolles Pro dukt erhält, wenn man Chlorsulfonsäure mit einem Gemisch aus Formamid und Harnstoff behandelt. Man erhält dabei ein flüssiges Produkt, das bei höheren Temperaturen be ständig ist.
Die Umsetzung kann durch einfaches Ver mischen der Ausgangsstoffe bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur erfolgen, wobei durch Kühlung dafür Sorge getragen wird, dass die Tempe ratur nicht zu hoch steigt. Es ist vorteilhaft, nach völligem Vermischen der Ausgangs stoffe zwecks Vervollständigung der Um setzung das Gemisch .mässig zu erwärmen, zum Beispiel auf 50 bis<B>60'</B> C. Man kann auch in Gegenwart von nicht oder schwer sulfonierbaren Lösungsmitteln arbeiten, bei- spielsweise von Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Tetra- chloräthan oder Nitrobenzol.
Es entsteht ein neues, technisch wert volles Produkt, das sich zum Beispiel zur Einführung von Sehwefelsäureestergruppen in H'ydroxylgruppen enthaltende organische Verbindungen, insbesondere solche, die ole- finische Doppelbindungen enthalten, eignet. <I>Beispiel:</I> In ein Gemisch aus<B>23</B> Gewichtsteilen Tormamid und 30 Gewichtsteilen Harnstoff lässt man unter gutem Rühren bei einer Tem peratur zwischen 0 und<B>10'</B> C 117 Gewichts teile Chlorsulfonsäure einfliessen.
Man erhält eine bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur flüssige Masse, die als Sulfonierungsmittel geeignet ist.

It has now been found that a similar, technically valuable product is also obtained if chlorosulfonic acid is treated with a mixture of formamide and urea. A liquid product is obtained that is constant at higher temperatures.
The reaction can be carried out by simply mixing the starting materials at normal temperature, with cooling being used to ensure that the temperature does not rise too high. It is advantageous, after the starting materials are completely mixed, to heat the mixture moderately, for example to 50 to 60 ° C., in order to complete the reaction. It is also possible to work in the presence of solvents which are difficult or impossible to sulfonate , for example of carbon tetrachloride, tetrachloroethane or nitrobenzene.
The result is a new, technically valuable product which is suitable, for example, for introducing sulfuric acid ester groups into organic compounds containing hydroxyl groups, in particular those which contain olefinic double bonds. <I> Example: </I> A mixture of <B> 23 </B> parts by weight of Tormamid and 30 parts by weight of urea is left with good stirring at a temperature between 0 and <B> 10 '</B> C 117 Pour in parts by weight of chlorosulfonic acid.
