Description

Transportable cutting device for stacks of veneer and linoleum. The invention relates to a transportable cutting device for veneer and linoleum stacks.

According to the invention, what is new is that the cutting tool is a circular knife that is adjustable in height compared to a cutting board and directly connected to a drive motor, the motor and knife being guided by means of rollers along at least one side edge of a tensioning rail so that the knife is permanent is held at a constant distance in front of this.

The lifting and lowering of the cutting knife can be done by means of clamping devices, which are operated by means of two bolts slide in inclined slots and a lever that attacks two Verstellwin angles.

An embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. 1 shows a partial view of the device, but without the cutting knife, FIG. 2 shows a partial section along the line EF in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a partial view of the device from the opposite side, as in FIG. 1, FIG. 4 shows the plan view of an individual part, FIG. 5 shows a cross section through the motor housing along the line AB of FIG. 2, FIG. 6 shows an axial section through the motor and the cutting knife along the line CD of FIG.

The cutting device shown is transportable and has a cutting board 4 and a tensioning rail 1, which latter is carried by two vertical bolts 2, which are in bearings 3 in the cutting board 4 leads ge. The tensioning rail 1 interacts with the cutting board 4, which is 2.2 m long, for example.

A sheet metal rail 5 is attached below the cutting board 4. On this sheet metal rail 5 there is a flat iron 6 of about 2.4 m length, which can be moved back and forth in its longitudinal direction. The sheet metal rail 5 protects the cutting board against wear and tear when the flat iron 6 is moved back and forth. With the two ends of this flat iron, two angles 7 are riveted ver. These two angles 7 have in their vertical flange a sloping ver running slot for guiding bolts 9, which in turn run perpendicular to the bolt 2 ver and are connected to these via an intermediate piece 8 by clamping screws.

The flat iron 6 and the angles associated with it are performed on the cutting board 4 through two tabs.

A clamping lever 11 is movably connected by means of screws to the flat iron 6 and to a leg 10 which is fixedly connected to the cutting board at one end of the latter and projects beyond this. During the outward movement of the clamping lever 11, the flat iron 6 is moved with the angle 7 against the cutting board 4 in the longitudinal direction and by the action of the edge of the slot 8 on the bolt 9, the clamping rail 1 is raised, so that several sheets of veneer or a linoleum stack between cutting board 4 and clamping rail 1 can be introduced without the risk of damage.

By moving the lever inwards, the clamping rail 1 is then lowered and the workpiece stack is clamped.

The cutting device has a rotatable knife 18 which is arranged on the shaft 17 of a motor 16 of 0.5 to 1 HP strength. Because the motor 16 including the knife 18 is seated on the tensioning rail 1, which in turn is carried by the bolt 2, the height of the knife 18 can be adjusted by adjusting this bolt 2, so that the knife 18 in each case corresponds to the height of the Veneer or linoleum stack can be set. The rotor of the motor is accommodated in a housing 12 made of aluminum with a cover 13.

The knife is protected in a housing formed by the cover 13 of the motor housing and a protective cover 14 and is held in an easily replaceable manner by the screw 19 between two washers on the shaft 17 of the motor.

The unit formed from the motor, the motor housing and the knife is by means of guide roller pairs 16 attached to the motor housing, one pair of which engages in a corresponding groove in the clamping rail, while the second pair runs along the inclined side edge of the clamping rail 1, guided on the tensioning rail l so that the knife is kept constantly at the same distance from the longitudinal edge of the tensioning rail. The movement of the cutting unit along the tensioning rail can be done manually or automatically.
