B. solche von 20') auftreten. Gemäss der Erfindung wird dieser Nachteil beseitigt, und zwar da durch, @dass die Angriffsstelle eines vom Wärmefühler verstellbaren Steuergliedes a;

Fig.13 einen Schnitt nach Linie XIII bis XIII in Fig. 12.
das sich nur um den praktisch unwesentlichen Betrag z, von x, unterscheidet. Bei einer in Fig. 2 ge strichelt einbezeichneten Teillaststellung unterscheiden sich die entsprechenden Weg stücke x-. und y;
Die Linien ii, n, <I>p,</I> q, r sind Linien geringerer Kraft- stofförderung,
Strecke h,'.
</I></B><I> g'</I> veränderlich mit jeder Belastungsänderung.
B. in grosse Höhe, ge langt.
Dann herrscht wieder Culeic#hgewichtszust;a.nd in der neuen Reglerstellung.
Ist dagegen der Schieber 65 auf Nullförde rung eingestellt, so steht der ,Stift 92 am linken Ende des Schlitzes 94, wobei die Achse .des Stiftes 92 mit der Achsrichtung 97c des Zapfens 97 zue.ammenfällt. Sobald bei Nullförderung diese Übereinstimmung der genannten vorhanden ist, haben Verdrehungen der Hebel 98 und 95 keinen Einfluss auf die Stifte 90 und 92;
Device for regulating the fuel supply in internal combustion engines. The invention relates to a device for regulating the fuel supply in internal combustion engines with a delivery quantity adjustment element, on which a heat sensor also acts to adjust, in addition to a control element that responds to pressure changes in the air supply line of the internal combustion engine,
namely when the temperature of the air charge in the air supply line rises in the sense of a reduction in the fuel supply.
In known devices of this type, regardless of whether an internal combustion engine is idling with low fuel consumption or at full load with high fuel consumption, the heat sensor always adjusts the delivery rate adjusting member by the same amount when the same temperature changes (e.g.
B. those of 20 ') occur. According to the invention, this disadvantage is eliminated, namely by @that the point of attack of a control member adjustable by the heat sensor a;
An intermediate member connecting the regulating member and the flow rate adjusting member can be adjusted in such a way that adjusting movements of the regulating member of the same size are assigned to the smaller adjusting movements of the flow rate adjusting member, the higher the temperature setting the control member is.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in several exemplary embodiments. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a regulator and the air intake pipe of the internal combustion engine, shown on a smaller scale, and FIGS. 2 to 4 show the moving parts from FIG.
G. 1 in other positions, Fig. 5 is a section along line V-V in Fig. 1, Fig. 6 is a diagram, Figs. 7 and 8, respectively, another embodiment. a part of the same in different positions, Fig. 9 shows a third embodiment, Figs. 10 and 11 parts of Fig. 9 on a larger scale and in different positions, Fig. 12 shows a fourth embodiment,
13 shows a section along line XIII to XIII in FIG.
1 is part of an injection pump of an internal combustion engine, the control rod or flow rate adjustment member 2 of which is connected by a handlebar 3 to an angle lever 4. The angle lever 4 is rotatably mounted on a pin 5 of a rod 6 which leads in a housing Längsversch.iebhar and is attached to a membrane 7 with its right end. The membrane 7 forms a movable partition between two chambers 8 and 9 of a pneumatic regulator.
The two sub-spaces of the chamber 8 are connected to one another through an opening 10. The chamber 8 is through an opening 11 with the outside air and the Kam mer 9 via a line 12 with the air intake pipe 13 of the internal combustion engine in connection. The 3founding of the line 12 in the suction pipe 13 lies, as seen in the direction of flow 14 of the air, directly behind an arbitrarily adjustable throttle valve 16, in a venturi-like constriction 15.
When the negative pressure in the chamber 9 increases, I move the diaphragm 7 as a control element of the pneumatic regulator to the right, and when the negative pressure decreases under the action of a spring 29 in the opposite direction.
In the suction pipe 13, a heat sensor 17 is arranged, the expansion member of which engages a lever 20 via the parts 18, 19. The lever 20 is fastened to the pin 21 of a lever 22. According to FIG. 5, the pin 21 is rotatably mounted in a side wall of the housing. A pin 24 protrudes into a longitudinal slot 23 of the lever 22 and is arranged on an arm 25 of the angle lever 4 shown horizontally in FIG.
At the lowest temperature that occurs in the Luftansaugroh.r 13 of the internal combustion engine, z. B. at - 20 C, the heat cooler 17 has its position in Fig.l represents.
Here, the lever 22 and the slot 23 are horizontal. If in this case the throttle valve 1.6, as shown in FIG. 1, is in the idle position, the high negative pressure prevailing behind the throttle valve, which also propagates into the chamber 9, places the parts in the position shown in FIG position shown. If the negative pressure is even greater, e.g.
B. with the Schi13be- idle, the pin 24 can be moved further to the right in FIG. 1 until its axis coincides with the axis of the pivot 21 of the lever 2 = 2. Here comes the control rod? in their stop position, the hinge pin 26 in the, BEZW position. Line a comes to rest and the injection pump is set to zero delivery.
If the throttle valve opens at the same minimum temperature in the intake pipe, this means that it is set to full load, then there is a relatively low negative pressure in chamber 9 up to 1-löehst- speed. The spring 29 is capable of: the membrane 7 and the other moving parts in the Stellinig according to FIG. 3 to push ver.
In this position the injection pump is set to full flow rate. The hinge pin 26 reached the position BEZW. Line h.
This Arlyeitweise, which applies to the lowest temperature, changes see when the tem perature increases in the intake pipe. If, for example, -'3 (-) 'C by the heat sensor 17 of the lever 20 in a position according to Fi.g. 2 and 4 is adjusted, so when there is a change in pressure in the chamber 9, the pin 24 moves in the now inclined slot 23.
In this case, when the diaphragm 7 is displaced, a pivoting movement about the pin 5 is also forced on the angle lever 4. (In the horizontal slot position according to FIGS. 1 and 3, on the other hand, the angle lever 4 is only shifted horizontally without pivoting about its pivot point 5.) If the free end of the lever 22 increases, for example, above -20 indicated in Figs. 2 and 4 for a temperature inclined downward,
when the diaphragm is moved to the left, the angle lever 4 pivots counterclockwise. Since: by a shift of the control rod 2 to the right in the sense of a reduction in fuel delivery is achieved.
This shift .der the control rod to the right as a result of temperature increases always remains smaller than the simultaneous shift of the membrane 7 to the left, so that with each shift of the membrane to the left with decreasing negative pressure in the chamber 7 there is always a left shift of the control rod only with the same vacuum fluctuations and the same adjustment paths of the membrane with increasing inclination of the slot 23,
that means, with increasing temperature, it decreases. For example, while at -2.0 'a shift .des pivot pin 5 coupled to the membrane out of the stop position a.
3 corresponds to a shift of the control rod by the distance x, wind at 30 and an equal displacement of the membrane 7 and the pin 5, the control rod according to FIG. 4 only shifted by the distance y, which is smaller by the distance z than the distance x.
This shortening of the path by the distance z, which applies to the load changes between zero and full load and the assumed temperature difference of <B> 50 '</B> between -20 and -I-30, does not remain the same for the same temperature difference, but changes depending on the size of the respective load.
If, for example, when idling, the membrane 7 moves in such a way that the pin 5 only goes from the stop position a into the idle position d according to FIGS. 1 and 2 and thereby covers the distance x the control rod at <B> -20 '</B> according to FIG. 1, the path segment x, back, while at +30 .ge according to FIG. 2 there is a movement: the control rod around the path segment y,:
which only differs from x by the practically insignificant amount z. In a ge in Fig. 2 dashed line part load position, the corresponding path pieces differ x-. and y;
, a little more, namely around. The distance z, the same change in temperature therefore produces a shift to the right of the control rod, the more the machine is loaded.
So, if the air weight fed to the engine is high when the engine is under high load and temperature increases in the intake air cause a considerable reduction in the air weight, the fuel supply is also reduced accordingly, while the fuel delivery rate is reduced with small idle air quantities and correspondingly low fuel supply the same temperature increases of the ansa,
u.gluft is only reduced by small amounts. In this situation, the lever 22 is a control element dependent on the heat sensor, which is connected to the linkage between the membrane 7 and the control rod 2 and acts on the linkage pin 24 in such a way that the movement of the control rods depends more on temperature influences, the more the Machine is set to full load.
In the example described, the relationships are such that x: z = x,: z, = x2 etc.
A clear picture of this behavior is shown in FIG. 6. The load on the machine is plotted here as the abscissa and the delivery rate of the injection pump as the ordinate.
The line m represents the increase in the fuel requirement of the brake engine and the fuel delivery of the injection pump with increasing loading at the lowest temperature of the intake air (e.g.
B. at -20), corresponding to the greater air charge that is required with increasing load in mixed engines with external ignition. The lines ii, n, <I> p, </I> q, r are lines of lower fuel delivery,
How they are desired when the cylinder is filled with less air as a result of temperature increases in the intake air and are achieved with the different inclinations of the slot 23 caused by the heat sensor.
The dashed line t. Is only intended to show that it would be wrong to design the heat sensor in such a way that
that at a certain temperature difference regardless of the respective load respectively. the air filling of the motor cylinder, the För amount always reduced by the same amount ir ver or. the control rod would always be shifted by the same amount. At high air temperatures in idle and part-load areas, the control rod would then be shifted in the direction of Stop by two people.
while the shift at full load is insufficient to reduce the amount of fuel delivered sufficiently. With such a regulation one could at most get along with engines that only have to work at full load.
The slot 23 in the lever 2, which is used to keep the fuel-to-air ratio constant, can of course also be (partially) curved. if for certain applications (e.g. richer mixture at idle and lower load than at full load) a ringed ali deviation from the constant fuel-air ratio is to be achieved.
In FIGS. 7 and 8, the invention is illustrated in a different embodiment. A double-armed lever 30, 31 is connected through a slot 32 of its one arm 30 with a pin 33 of the rule rod 34 of the injection pump, while a slot 36 in the other arm 31, the lever with a pin 39 connec det on one to the membrane 3 7 of the pneumatic controller leading rod 38 is arranged.
The double-armed lever 30, 31 is rotatably mounted on a pin 40 of a guide block 41, which can guide in a housing slot 42. The guide block 41 is displaceable by a lever 43 which is rotatably mounted on a housing pin 44 and engages around the pin 10 with a slot 15. To the right of the housing pin 44 in FIGS. 7 and 8, a rod 47 connected to a 'NVärniesensor 46 engages.
When the temperature increases in the air intake pipe, the rod 47 is moved upwards by the heat sensor 46, where the lever 43 rotates counterclockwise. Here, the guide stone 41 slides down into your Ghäuseschlitz 42 and takes the lever 30, 31 with: down. z. B. in the position according to Fig. B.
In Fic. 7, the lever 4 3 is in the position that corresponds to the lowest temperature that occurs (e.g. <B> -30 '</B> C). In the event of a small negative pressure in the regulator chamber 48, the diaphragm 37 and the lever 30, 31 have the full-load setting shown in solid lines, the regulating rod 34 also being set to the greatest full-load delivery rate.
In the dashed position r; are the Zap fen 39 and 33 at 39 'and 33', and the control rod 34 is set to zero delivery (stop). The effective lever arms f and g of the double-armed lever 31 are pale in FIG. 7.
This has the consequence that when the membrane 37 is shifted, respectively. of the pin 39 to the piece h and the pin 3 3 respectively. the li-el: rod 34 is shifted by an equal piece h ″.
On the other hand, if the intake air tenipera.t tr is higher, the lever 43 is in the position according to Fil-. 8, the lever ratio <I> f: g </I> in FIG. 7 having changed to <I> f ': g </I> according to FIG. 8, the pale displacement h corresponds to the diaphragm 37 be moved pin 39 in the position 39 'only a displacement of the pin 3 3 by the.
Route h, '. So it is at a higher temperature and full load the control rod 34 by the piece i 'in Fig. 8 less far from the Stop @ tellun, g than at the lowest temperature and the same full load a position. This piece i 'is at the @ ell)
A temperature difference compared to the lowest oil temperature and the same lever arm ratio <B> <I> f ':
</I></B> <I> g '</I> changeable with every change in load. For example, the piece ä changes to i 't when the pin 39 moves out of the zero conveying position 39'. moved into a position that corresponds to the partial load position 31 'of the lever 31 indicated by dash-dotted lines.
This change in z is proportio nal of the change in load respectively at the same Temperattiruntersahied. the prevailing negative pressure in the control chamber 48, which in turn depends on the volume of the United combustion hat that flows through the suction pipe to the machine cylinders.
What applies to the lever ratio <I> f ': g' </I> also applies accordingly if @sieh changes this ratio at a different air intake temperature, and it is always the case that rising temperatures cause one the greater the influence on a reduction in the fuel supply, the greater the machine load and consequently the air weight supplied to the machine per stroke,
In a third embodiment according to FIG. 9, a roller 52 of a control rod 50 of a gasoline injection pump 51 rests against the flank of a pox-like thumb 53 under the action of a weak spring 54. The other flank of the thumb touches a second rod 55, which is fastened to the right end of a longitudinally displaceable rod 56 BE.
The left end of the rod 56 is connected to a double-armed lever 57, 58 which is mounted on a pin 60 attached to the left end of a rod 59 and engages around a pin 61 of a rod 62 with its lower end. The reservoir 62 is connected to the regulator diaphragm 63.
From one chamber 64 of the regulator, a line 66 leads to the air intake pipe 67 of the internal combustion engine and opens there, seen in the flow direction 68 of the air, behind an arbitrarily adjustable throttle valve 69. The other regulator chamber 65 is via housing openings 70, 71. with a Connected space, which has the same pressure as it prevails in the Luftaneaug- pipe before the throttle valve 69.
The% st in the illustrated example, which is intended for a self-priming engine, is the outside air. The pressure prevailing in front of the throttle valve is also exposed to a membrane valve 72 which expands as soon as the engine installed in a vehicle enters a range of ge ringing air pressure, e.g. B. at a great height, ge reached.
With such an expansion of the membrane, the n-dose 72 moves, the pin 60 of the lever 57, 58 moves to the left around the point 61 as a pivot point and causes the control rod to be displaced by pivoting the thumb 53, which is pivoted on an eccentric 73 50 to the left in the direction of .Stop. In a similar way, the control rod is moved in the same direction,
when, with an increase in the negative pressure in the chamber 64 as a result of decreasing machine load, the membrane 63 and the lower pivot pin 61 of the lever 57, 58 are pulled to the right.
The eccentric 73 is rotatable about the pin 75 which is fixedly mounted in an arm 74 of the injection pump 51. On the pin 75, a lever 76 is attached, which is arranged via a rod 77 with a in the air intake pipe 67. Heat sensor 78 is connected. When the temperature increases in the suction pipe 67, the rod 77 is moved to the left in FIG.
Here, the eccentric 73 is rotated via the lever 76 in such a way that the thumb 53 executes a downward movement. With reference to FIGS. 10 and 11, a thumb 53 shown on a larger scale will now be used to explain how temperature changes in the suction pipe above the heat sensor,
the eccentric and thumb on the position of the control rod BEZW. affect the fuel delivery of the injection pump.
In FIG. 10, the control rod 50 and the rod 56 connected to the controller are in the stop position in which the injection pump is set to zero delivery.
If now here at the eccentric 73 from the position corresponding to the lowest temperature, drawn in full, the heat sensor i 8 is rotated into the dashed position 73a corresponding to a higher temperature, the thumb moves downwards without moving the control rod 50 . Changes in temperature therefore have no influence in the stop position. the position of the rule rod.
On the other hand, the situation is different if the machine is never loaded and the injection pump according to FIG. 11 is set to the largest full charge delivery rate. The position 50a of the control rod corresponds to a position of the eccentric 73 at the lowest temperature (e.g. −20 ° C.) and with. diaphragm 63 in full position.
If, with a temperature increase in the same full load position: the membrane 63, the eccentric 73 is moved into the dashed position 73a, the left flank of the thumb 53 slides along the roller 55, and the right flank of the thumb allows the control rod to be moved in position 50b. In this way, a smaller full-load delivery rate corresponding to the higher temperature is set.
In the same way, even when the diaphragm 63 is in partial load positions, smaller fuel delivery quantities are always set by the thumb 53 if, in the event of temperature increases: the thumb is moved out of its uppermost position. At part load, the influence of a temperature change, e.g. B. of 20, but smaller than at full load. Here, too, with increasing load, temperature influences have a decreasing effect on the fuel supply.
In one. The fourth exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 12 engages the movable regulating element (not shown) of the regulator which responds to the intake pressure via a rod 60 on an eye 61 of a ring 62. The ring 62 is guided in a sealing manner with an inner flange 63 on a piston 61 of a power amplifier (servo motor) and contains a control slide 65 inside, which is also fitted tightly onto the piston 6-1.
On the side of the ring opposite the inner flange 63, a cover 66 is provided, which prevents longitudinal shifts of the control slide 65 in the ring 6 2.
The control slide 65 rests with two control edges 67, 68 on the flat surface of the piston 64. A Raun r 69 between the control edges 67, 68 is connected via the piston groove 70 and piston bores 71, 7 2 shown in dashed lines to a pressure oil supply line not provided. Fer ner control grooves 73, 74 are provided in the piston jaw surface. The left control groove 73 is connected via two bores <B> 75, </B> 76 in the piston 64 to a space 7 7 to the right of the piston, while the control groove on the right: 7 4 via bores <B> 78, < / B> 7 9 communicates with a space 80 on the left piston side.
A rod 81 connects the piston 64 to the control rod, not shown, of the injection pump, also not shown here.
It is assumed that the regulator connected to the rod 60 moves the ring -62 with the control slide 65 to the right in FIG. 12 as the load increases. During this movement, pressure oil escapes from the space 69 via the groove 74 and the bores 78, 79 into the space 80. As a result, the piston 64 is moved to the right after the control mechanism 65 until the control edges 67, 68 cover the grooves 73, 74 again.
Then there is a normal weight condition again and in the new controller position. The (31 displaced from the space 77 when the piston moves to the right) flows off via the bores 76, 75, the control nut 73, the space and bores 82 located to the left of 67 in the slide 65. With this rightward movement, the rod 81 moves to the right taken and the rebar of the injection pump set to a larger delivery rate corresponding to the greater load.
Conversely, when the load decreases, when the rod 60 moves the control slide 65 to the left, the pressure oil is pressed from the space 69 via the groove 73 and the bores 75, 76 into the space 7 7. In this case, the piston 64 follows the left-hand movement of the control slide, sets de R.egelstanige to a lower fuel delivery rate and displaces the 01 out of the space 80 through the channels 79, 78, 74, the space in the Control slide 65 to the right of the control edge 68 and:
through channels 83 to the outside.
The 65 also has a pin 90 which ratchets through a slot 91 running in the circumferential direction of the ring 62 through the ring 62. The iStift 90 is articulated to a second pin 92 which slides in a sleeve 93. This can be displaced in a slot 94 of a lever 9 \ 5.
The lever 95 is at one end of a housing 96 .rotatable in the amplifier: mounted pin 97, the other end of which carries a lever 98 connected to a heat sensor.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the action of the heat sensor on the lever 98 is such that, at the lowest temperature of the air supplied to the motor, the slot 94 of the lever 95 is parallel to the axial direction of the piston 64.
In the partial load position shown, the slide 65 was in a position such that the pin 92 is approximately in the middle of the slot 94.
If, on the other hand, the slide 65 is set to zero conveyance, the pin 92 is at the left end of the slot 94, the axis of the pin 92 coinciding with the axial direction 97c of the pin 97. As soon as this agreement of the above is present at zero delivery, rotations of the levers 98 and 95 have no effect on the pins 90 and 92;
If, on the other hand, the control slide 65 is in the middle or partial load position shown, the pin 92 is moved out of the plane of the drawing with each rotary movement of the lever 95. The pin 90 is also taken along and the control slide 65 is rotated with respect to the piston 64.
The control edges 67, 68 and, the grooves 73, 74 extend in the illustrated part-load position out of the plane of the drawing forwards and backwards and have the shape of helical lines. If the lever 95 is moved from the position shown, parallel to the piston axis direction, at:
an increase in temperature of the intake air moves backwards out of the Z.elchen plane, so, shift with the backward rotation. the upper half and forward rotation of the lower half of the control slide: 65 the control edges 67, 68, compared to the control grooves 73, 74 to the left.
In the illustrated direction of the screw grooves 73, 74 this has the consequence that the space 69 now comes into contact with the bore 75 opening into the groove 73 and thereby with the space 77, whereby the control rod in the sense. a reduction in fuel delivery is set.
An even greater reduction in fuel delivery at the same high temperature and accordingly the same position of the levers 98 and 95 is achieved if the slide 65 is moved further to the right in FIG. 12 when the machine is under high load and thereby when the pin 92 slides along it oblique slot 94. a greater rotation is forced on the slide 65,
which of course also results in a greater shift to the left of piston 64 and control rod 81. So here too, with the same increase in temperature, the greater the level of flattening of the control rod in the sense of a reduction in the fuel supply is achieved, the higher the load on the machine:
That means the more the temperature increase has an influence on the absolute air weight fed to the machine.
Both internal combustion engines with supercharger fans and self-aspirating machines can be used as the field of application of the invention.
