Vorrichtung zum Aufschneiden von Gipsverbänden.
Zum Aufschneiden von Gipsverbänden, z. B. bei Bein-oder Armbrüchen, verwendet man heute in der Regel eine Schere oder ein Messer, was sich in der Praxis jedoch immer wieder als unpraktisch erweist.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft nun eine zum Aufschneiden von Gipsverbänden bestimmte Vorrichtung, die sich dadurch kennzeichnet, dass an einem von Hand faBbaren Führungsorgan eine Untergreif-und Schutzzinke vorgesehen und auf demselben ein zum Aufschneiden des Verbandes dienendes, durch Antriebsmittel in Betrieb versetzbares Schneidelement zur Mitwirkung mit der mittels des genannten Führungsorganes unter dem Gipsverband vorzuschiebenden Untergreif-und Schutzzinke montiert ist.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist in einer einzigen Figur ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes veran schaulicht. a ist ein Fiihrungsstab, der am einen Ende mit leinem Handgriff a'und am andern Ende mit einer löffelartigen Untergreif-u nd Schutzzinke a2 versehen ist. b ist ein am Fihrungsstab a angelenkter, biigelformiger Hebelarm, an dessen freiem Ende, eine Kreis- säge c drehbar gelagert ist. Auf dem Hebelarm b ist ein elektrischer Kleinmotor d mon tiert, der über einen Saitenantrieb e die Kreissage c in Umdrehung zu versetzen vermag.
Anstatt motorisch, wie im vorliegenden Falle, konnte die Kreissäge gegebenen- falls auch von Hand, z. B. mittels eines Kurbelantriebes, in Umdrehung versetzt werden.
Zum Gebrauch der oben beschriebenen Vorrichtung wird die Untergreif-und Schutzzinke a'mittels des Handgriffes at bei in Umlauf versetzter Kreissäge c unter dem Gipsverband f vorgeschoben, wie in der Zeichnung dargestellt ist, wodurch jener unter der gegenseitigen Mitwirkung von Zinke a2 und Kreissäge c rasch und in bequemer Weise aufgeschnitten wird.
Um zu verhindern, daB die Kreissäge c mit der Zinke a2 in Berührung gelangt, ist am Hebelarm b ein mit dem Stab α zu sammenwirkender Anschlag g vorgesehen, der gegebenenfalls einstellbar sein könnte./ < ist ein die KreissÏge c berdeckendes Schutzblech. Anstatt mit einem geraden Griff könnte der Führungsstab auch mit einem aufwärts abgebogenen Griff versehen sein.

On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated in a single figure. a is a guide rod which is provided at one end with a handle a 'and at the other end with a spoon-like gripping and protective tine a2. b is a biigel-shaped lever arm articulated on the guide rod a, at the free end of which a circular saw c is rotatably mounted. A small electric motor d is mounted on the lever arm b, which is able to set the circular saw c in rotation via a string drive e.
Instead of using a motor, as in the present case, the circular saw could also be operated manually, e.g. B. by means of a crank drive, are set in rotation.
