Rohr-Schnellkupplungseinriehtung.
Die Erfindung ist nachstehend an Hand der in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausfüh rungsbeispiele erläutert. Es zeigen: Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch eine Aus- führun-4orm in der Einfuhrstellung, Fig. 3 in -leicher Darstellung die Kupp- lnnu,seinriehtung in Schliesslage, Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht; Fig. 4 zeigt im Schnitt eine andere Aus- führungsforin der Kupplungseinrichtung;
Pipe quick coupling device. The invention relates to a pipe quick coupling device for rain, sprinkling or fire extinguishing lines, as well as for other pipes to be laid freely in the terrain,
where quick installation is important.- The quick-release couplings known for these pipelines generally consist of an iVIuff part provided with a sealing ring to accommodate the pipe to be connected and a toggle lock bridging the two parts to be connected, its clamping bracket on one part is articulated,
and the clamping lever of which engages behind an abutment on the other part.
Since these pipelines are laid freely in the field and are often implemented, the couplings must be designed in such a way that, in addition to rapid production, they respectively. the quick release of the connection also allow a certain angling of the parts to be connected without impairing the tightness of the connection in order to allow the pipe string to be adapted to uneven ground.
For this purpose, it is known to use U-shaped sealing sleeves in the socket part or to see the pipe ends with especially conical or spherical rings that allow a certain angular position of the pipes to one another.
In these known couplings, the cohesion takes place with the help of several connecting claws. There are also so-called cardan couplings known in which a movable ring is arranged at one end of the pipe, which receives the abutment for the toggle lever, so that without prejudice to the connection between the toggle lever and the abutment arm, the one pipe by a ge know angle can be swiveled out.
These known designs have the disadvantage of the cumbersome design with only limited bendability. If these couplings are used in the pipelines of trickling systems for the distribution of waste water, results. The further disadvantage is that the coupling can only be released again with difficulty, since the sticky substances contained in the sewage stick to the sealing sleeves and cause the pipe ends taken up by them to stick.
The invention relates to a pipe-Sclinell coupling device, which is a quick to close the pipes BEZW. allows them to be separated without impairing the ability to bend the pipes or the tight connection between them, and which can be operated by one man with one hand.
For this purpose, according to the invention, the abutment intended for taking on the clamping lever of the toggle lever is provided with two oppositely directed support surfaces with which the clamping lever alternately works together when it is transferred into the flexed or extended position.
The bearing surfaces of the clamping lever and the double abutment are advantageously designed in such a way that there is only one single-point bearing surface which allows the two parts to be connected to be angled on all sides. In order to facilitate the insertion of the pipe to be connected into the socket part, this pipe expediently has a smaller outer diameter at the end than the inside diameter of the sealing ring and then increases up to an outside diameter which is larger than the inside diameter of the sealing ring.
Advantageously, the end of the pipe to be connected is cut obliquely so that the pipe end can be easily inserted into the socket part and is centered by itself here.
The socket part can be attached by a special clamp on the end of a pipe, the clamping ring carries the toggle lever, while the other pipe end receives a double abutment aufwei send clamping ring. The sleeve can, however, also be fastened directly to the pipe end and at the same time take up the toggle lever on an attached bearing block.
Furthermore, the socket part can be designed as a double-sided socket and as a T, cross or branch branch for the connection of branch lines. In this case, each branch receives a special clamping bracket.
The invention is explained below with reference to the Ausfüh approximately examples shown in the drawing. The figures show: FIG. 1 a cross section through an embodiment in the insertion position, FIG. 3 in an identical representation, the coupling position in the closed position, FIG. 3 a plan view; 4 shows, in section, another embodiment of the coupling device;
Fig. 5 and 6 show schematically from the formation of the coupling sleeve as a T-piece or. Double socket; FIG. 7 shows in cross section a further embodiment of the pipe end to be connected, and FIG. 5 shows a pipe run provided with the new coupling device as it is laid to adapt to unevenness in the ground.
In the embodiment according to Fig. 1-3 is. a coupling sleeve c pushed onto the end of a tube a, which is held by claws l of a clamping ring egg on the tube. The claws l encompass a collar ring m- the sleeve c, and the clamping ring is held on the tube a by visual bolts e. The sleeve c has. At the free end there is a roof-like extension in cross section, in which a sealing ring <I> d </I> is inserted.
On the one clamping bolt e two clamps 4 are hinged, which take a clamping lever g articulated on the free end by means of a screw bolt 1a. The two levers <I> f, </I> g form a toggle lever that is used to secure the clutch in the closed position.
The pipe b to be connected is provided with a bulge bi at the insertion end, which is dimensioned such that the end diameter bz is smaller than the clear diameter of the ring d, while the largest diameter b3 of the bulge is larger than the clear Diameter of the ring d. As a result of this design, the pipe end bi can thus be pushed into the socket c until the bulge bi rests in the sealing ring <B> d </B>.
Behind the bulge, the tube 1) carries a clamping ring j1, which has a protruding nose with two oppositely directed abutment surfaces having hooks j, k. After inserting the tube b into the socket c, the toggle lock is tensioned by inserting the nose into the abutment j of the clamping ring j1 and turning the handle fes g on the tube b and the tube b with its end bi thus firmly against the sealing ring d pressed. To release the coupling, lift,
of the lever g, the lug i is inserted into the abutment lc and then the tube b is pushed out of the socket by pivoting the lever g further.
The bearing surfaces of the abutments j, k and the nose of the clamping lever i are designed so that there is only a point-like bearing surface between them, which in connection with the bulge bi -des pipe res b a development with respect to the pipe a within wide limits allows on all sides. (Dashed lines in FIGS. 2 and 3.) In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the sleeve <B> ei </B> forms part of the pipe a and carries a bearing eye p for receiving the bolt e for the toggle lever <I> f, g. </I>
The tube b is drawn inwards without bulging at the end, but the dimensions are again chosen so that the outer diameter b2 at the end is smaller than the inside diameter of the sealing ring d, while the outer diameter b3 of the tube b is larger as the clear diameter of the sealing ring d.
In addition, the end b4 of the pipe res b is beveled. This design has the further advantage that the tube b can be easily inserted into the socket c and centers itself on the sealing ring d during the introduction.
In the schematic representation according to FIG. 5, the sleeve c2 is designed as a T-piece for connecting two pipe ends b, bi and a branch piece a. Fig. 6 shows a two-sided sleeve c3 for receiving two pipe ends b, bi. In these figures, the toggle lock is not drawn in, but a special toggle lock is provided for each connection point.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, a mouthpiece b5 is placed on the tube b at the end, the free end of which is drawn inwards and the dimensions of which are selected to correspond to the diameter bz, b3 of the bulge bi according to FIG .
FIG. 8 shows the laying of a pipe string equipped with the coupling device shown in the terrain and shows the great possibility of angling which is achieved with it.
