Garniture métallique pour semelle de chaussure. La présente invention a pour objet une garniture métallique destinée à augmenter la résistance<B>à</B> l'usure des semelles et talons de chaussures.
Cette garniture est caractérisée par des éléments de forme trapézoïdale, réunis les uns aux autres par des barrettes, le tout dis posé de façon à former une bande flexible se conformant suivant le pourtour de la semelle et du talon, sur lesquels elle est fixée au moyen de pointes.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en plan d'une partie de la bande de cette forme d'exécution.
La fig. 2 représente une semelle de chaus sure munie de cette forme d'exécution de la garniture.
La fig. 3 en montre le talon de la chaus sure muni de cette garniture.
La garniture représentée comprend une bande découpée dans une feuille d'acier par exemple. Elle comporte des éléments 1, de - forme trapézoïdale, que réunissent entre eux des barrettes 2.
Les éléments 1 sont légèrement bombés dans le sens transversal par rapport à la bande de façon que leurs bords interne et externe pénètrent dans le cuir de la semelle et du talon de la chaussure. Ils sont percés de trous 3 dans lesquels sont engagées des poin tes servant à la fixation de la bande.
Grâce aux barrettes 2, qui en permettent la flexion, la bande peut se conformer facile ment au pourtour de la semelle et du talon, ainsi que le montrent les fig. 2 et 3.
Appliquée avec sa face bombée disposée extérieurement, la bande plaque rigoureuse ment sur la semelle et le talon, sous l'action des pointes enfoncées au travers des trous 3. Cette fixation, en déterminant la pénétration dans le cuir ou la matière de la semelle et du talon des bords externes et internes des éléments de la bande, rend celle-ci moins vi sible pendant la marche. La garniture représentée est d'une fabri cation économique, car la bande peut se dé couper dans de la bande métallique au moyen d'outils simples et d'un grand rendement.
La pose, très facile, peut être exécutée par l'usager lui-même, et la garniture décrite aug mente d'une façon très appréciable la résis tance à l'usure de ses chaussures. Elle n'a lourdit pas la marche, car elle est légère et la bande flexible.
La fixation de la bande pourrait aussi avoir lieu par des pointes découpées et em bouties dans le métal même de la bande.

The trim shown comprises a strip cut from a sheet of steel for example. It comprises elements 1, of trapezoidal shape, which are joined together by bars 2.
The elements 1 are slightly curved in the transverse direction relative to the strip so that their internal and external edges penetrate into the leather of the sole and of the heel of the shoe. They are pierced with holes 3 in which are engaged your points for fixing the strip.
Thanks to the bars 2, which allow it to flex, the band can easily conform to the circumference of the sole and the heel, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
Applied with its convex face disposed on the outside, the strip rigorously lies on the sole and the heel, under the action of the toes driven through the holes 3. This binding, by determining the penetration into the leather or the material of the sole and of the heel of the outer and inner edges of the belt elements, makes the latter less visible when walking. The gasket shown is economical to manufacture, since the strip can be cut from metal strip using simple, high-performance tools.
The installation, which is very easy, can be carried out by the user himself, and the lining described greatly increases the resistance to wear of his shoes. It does not weigh down the step, because it is light and the band flexible.
The fastening of the band could also take place by cut points and em bouties in the metal itself of the band.
