Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 206724.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlöslichen     Azofarbstoffes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasser  löslichen     Azofarbstoffes.    Das Verfahren ist  dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1     Mol          tetrazotiertes        Benzidin    in saurem Medium  mit 1     Mol        1-Amino-8-naphthol-3,6-disulfoii-          säure    kuppelt,

   auf den gebildeten     Monoazo-          farbstoff    1     Mol        diazotiertes    Anilin alkalisch  einwirken lässt und anschliessend mit     r-(N-          Methylanilino)-p-ogypropanthiosohwefelsäure     kuppelt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles, in  Wasser leicht lösliches Pulver dar und färbt  Leder und Baumwolle in tiefen schwarzen  Tönen.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  184 Gewichtsteile     Benzidin    werden in der  üblichen Weise     tetrazotiert    und in mineral  saurer Lösung mit 341 Gewichtsteilen des       Monoriatriiimsalzes    der     1-Amino-8-naphthol-          3,6-disulfonsäure    vereinigt. Nach Beendigung  der Reaktion werden 93 Gewichtsteile Anilin  nach bekannter Vorschrift     diazotiert    und zu  gegeben.
