In Tarnungsfarben ausgeführte bauliche Anlage ans Beton.

Structural structures on the concrete in camouflage colors. It is often desirable to make concrete buildings fa.rhig and it is already known to provide cladding of the buildings made of ordinary concrete with a colored concrete mass in order to achieve this purpose.
However, this method has various disadvantages; on the one hand, there are not insignificant increases because of the construction costs, because the concrete used for the cladding must be produced separately and applied separately, which causes an extension of the drying time; on the other hand, if the relatively thin cladding is damaged, the gray concrete underneath comes to the fore, which spoils the appearance of the structure. These parts after are remedied by the present invention.
The subject of the present invention is a structure made of concrete executed in camouflage colors, in which the entire Be tonasse is colored continuously ge in camouflage color. The use of such a mass is particularly important in the manufacture of military buildings such as fortifications, shelters, bunkers, runways for airfields, roads and the like.
The experience of the World War has shown that for the construction of fortifications to achieve the greatest possible security against artillery fire and aerial bombs, concrete and reinforced concrete can be used as building materials. Until now, such structures have only been made of ordinary white or gray concrete.
This has the disadvantage, however, that if the enemy artillery succeeded by chance in removing the camouflage of the structure, consisting of soil, paint or a flying net, even partially, through the fracture surfaces of the projectile's impact point, which then appear to be liiell ,
possibly a target that is clearly recognizable for the enemy observer is created by the white gray concrete dust and pieces of concrete scattered around them and that the previously carefully camouflaged shelter or the like is now exposed to the point fire of the enemy artillery.
If a concrete mass is now used for such buildings according to the invention, which is continuously in a respectively difficult to distinguish from a distance. If the camouflage color is matched to the color of the surroundings of the building, damage to the outer concrete layers has no effect on the appearance of the building, since the inner concrete layers that then appear also have a protective color, so that the damage does not occur at some distance can be seen more. Even loose blocks and dust are not telltale thanks to their coloring.
The concrete pavement of streets, which, if made of ordinary, single-colored concrete, is not only a good destination, but also because most of the time, it is the shortest connection between larger localities, is also a particularly expedient possibility of the inventive idea Form a Z-sign for enemy aircraft that is often visible even at night. It is already known to produce the top layer of concrete roads from colored concrete.
This coloring, which incidentally only extends to the top layer of concrete, is not used for camouflage, but on the contrary mainly to make the streets more visible and, if necessary, to influence the reflection of the lielite from vehicle headlights.
With particular advantage, the structural system according to the invention is not created in one color, but rather from interlocking irregularly delimited layers and parts of different camouflage colors in such a way that they have a pattern adapted to their surroundings.
However, it is always a prerequisite that not only, as was suggested earlier, the top layer of the building, at most a few millimeters thick, but that the concrete as such be colored throughout, because only then will the success be achieved. ss in the event of a projectile impact or penetration, the point of impact remains inconspicuous to the enemy observer.
The additional costs compared to systems made of uncoloured concrete are extremely low when using suitable manufacturing processes, since the concrete mass to be used, apart from the colorant, has the usual composition and is based on a mixture of the known aggregates sand, gravel or stone chippings with cement as a binding agent, can stelien.
The color of the mass can either be done in such a way that the binding agent is coated with mineral or earth colors, for example in pan mixers, which are connected to a sack filling machine, before use, that is, before concreting.

Ultramarine, ocher is mixed in the desired camouflage colors, or a color-giving substance can only be used on the construction site during the preparation of the concrete mass, the cement, the additives, which can also be color-giving, and the other additives he standing mixture to be added in the mixer.
A particularly cheap and appropriate coloring of the concrete 4 is the use of colored stone powder, sand or brick flour as a color-changing additive for the concrete mass.

This considerably increases the waterproofing speed of the concrete.
It also proves to be advantageous to add a certain amount of alum or equivalent substances, which may have an effect on the fibrous materials added to the mass, as well as potassium permanga nat to the mixing water, also for the purpose of coloring the Mas@s.e. With a mixing water composed in such a way, the dry mixed concrete mass is mixed in a manner known per se.
The additives mentioned cause better setting and, above all, better adhesion of the concrete to the reinforcement bar and an excellent equalization of tension. The properties of the concrete are therefore significantly improved precisely in the direction in which it is desired for the particular application.
The concrete mass colored in the manner described can be introduced into a prepared formwork and tamped or vibrated during the production of a building in a manner known per se. If it is a uniformly colored mass, the manufacturing process does not present any difficulty.
If, however, the building works in the mass continuous, but changing camouflage color, the production of the surrounding walls takes place respectively. The ceiling expediently in such a way that differently colored concrete masses are introduced in layers alternately, zigzag or saw-shaped delimited from one another in the entire thickness of the enclosing walls, whereby, in particular due to the peculiarity of the tamping process, those for the achievement merge into one another respectively
Intertwining camouflage colors very desirable partial mixing of the boundary zones occurs. After the removal of the formwork, the visible surfaces of the structure show a multicolored or colorful view, that is, the same image as buildings that are provided with an external camouflage paint in the usual way.
For the introduction of concrete masses of various colors for the purpose of bulletproof roofing of the building, sheet metal templates are expediently used, such that a template is placed on the supporting surface for each color tone, the height of which depends on the respective pitch. The stencils are alternately filled with the differently colored concrete masses, when the filling is complete they are removed by pulling up and the mass filled in is tamped evenly.
This process is repeated until the intended thickness of the roofing is reached.
In this way, a system consisting of continuously colored concrete mass is created in which the broken surfaces of the concrete caused by destruction always have camouflage coloring. Due to the special type of composition of the concrete mass, as described in detail above, for example, the system can be made water-repellent at the same time chemical influences can be achieved.
The structure can of course be reinforced.
