Transport and storage device for steel bottles. The invention is a einach termed transport and storage device for steel bottles.
Transport devices for removal, in particular special heavier objects in the form of single-axle carts, are already known and are designed in such a way that the load can be grasped and lifted on the ground so that loading can be carried out more easily. However, because of their tendency to tip, such carts are not suitable as transport devices with a load that is permanently attached, even if it can be removed.
The device forming the subject of the invention differs from the known carts in that the same is supported in the rest position except with the two wheels with two feet on the base, which feet can be lifted off the base by tilting the same about the wheel axis for the purpose of moving the device are, and that holding means are provided by means of which the load can be secured in any position of the device. In the drawing is a, execution example of the subject invention provides Darge.
Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through the device, Fig. 2 shows a plan view of the same.
The device is formed from a tubular frame ge, which has two parallel bars 1 and 2 in its lower part, which are verbun by two crossbars 3 and 4 to each other. The traverse 4 is at the same time designed as an axis for the two wheels 5. The wheels are appropriately equipped with an elastic covering such as rubber. The end of each spar is down, and advises to increase the stability of the Ge, at the same time bent outward and designed as a foot and provided with a rubber buffer 6. Behind the wheels, the two bars 2 and 3 are raised and connected to one another via a cross member 7 serving as a handle.
A plate 9 with an upwardly protruding edge, which plate is arranged on the two cross members 3 and 4, serves to accommodate the bottle 8 provided as a load. A holder 10 with an indentation into which the bottle is inserted is provided at a suitable height on the two ascending holine parts. On each side of the Einbuch device is a hook 11, in which as a holding means for the bottle, for example, a spring (not shown) with a toggle lever can be suspended, the toggle lever in a known manner for tensioning or relaxing the spring can be folded in two positions.
Instead of one hook 11, a ring or the like can also be provided, to which one end of the spring is fastened, while the other end carries the toggle lever that can be hung in the remaining hook. This Ealtemit- tel, which can also be replaced by another known organ, enables the bottle to be quickly attached to the device after it has been placed on the plate-shaped support 9, so that the bottle is secured in every position of the device.
To transport the bottle, the Ge advises by means of the cross member 7 is tilted around the wheel axis, whereby the two feet stand out from the base and the bottle tends to ge. The arrangement of the plate-shaped base 9 is such that irr the inclination or tilting position required for the transport, the center of gravity of the load comes to rest over the wheel axle or is at least not far from this, so that the device can be moved with a minimum Force can be done.
The device described is particularly suitable for use in hospitals, sanatoriums, clinics, etc. For storing steel bottles that contain oxygen, carbonic acid or other gases or gas mixtures.
However, it can also be used for other purposes, such as in workshops, etc., for transporting bottles with acetylene, etc. The device takes up little space, is cheap to manufacture, convenient to use and easy to operate Bring the respective point at which gas is to be withdrawn from the bottle.
It is also designed in such a way that empty steel bottles can easily be replaced with full ones. A shell or the like for holding oxygen masks can also be attached to the device. Instruments etc. to be arranged.
