<I>Die</I> Übertragung <I>von</I> Fernsteuerkommandos.
bis Kiv i:iber- trä.gt.
Device for remote control and remote monitoring of several stations. In remote control devices in which several stations are monitored from a central point, the stations in many cases have such a spatial location to each other that one does not connect the stations directly to the central point, but only indirectly via intermediate points with favorable line management. With the previously known remote control devices of this type, each command to be transmitted to one of the substations is transmitted by a special series of pulses.
However, since commands often have to be carried out in several substations, the result is that with the type of transmission used up to now, it takes a long time for all commands to be transmitted.
The invention makes it possible to achieve a substantial reduction in transmission times in that a storage device is provided in the intermediate point for which commands that are to be transmitted from the intermediate point to several substations are sent from the central station by a single transmission process point are transmitted from, and that the stored commands are passed on one after the other to the individual substations via a command transmission device arranged in the intermediate point and common to all substations connected to them.
The invention is preferably used in such systems in which the transmission of commands and messages takes place via lines that are normally used for telephone traffic. In the telephone networks, a division of the offices into main offices, node offices and sub-offices is usually provided from the outset, so that the remote control devices that also use the telephone lines are inevitably divided into central offices, intermediate offices and sub-offices .
Since, moreover, just for lines that are also used for telephone traffic, the requirement is made that they are only occupied for a short time for the transmission of remote control and telecommunication processes, the invention provides a way of making economical use of the telephone lines for achieve the transmission of remote controls and telecommunications zii.
In order to ensure proper operation during the transmission of commands and messages via such lines, a series of pre-impulses is expediently transmitted before the command pulse sequences are sent from the control station to the central telephone office, by means of which switching devices are operated that on the one hand the line to the Select the desired intermediate point and on the other hand disconnect any existing calls.
The invention is explained using an exemplary embodiment in the figures.
In the embodiment, it is a remote control and Fernmeldeein direction, which makes use of the Fernleitun conditions of a telephone network for the transmission of the commands and messages. The telephone network has a telephone main office from which lines go to individual node offices. From the node offices, in turn, individual lines go out to which various sub-offices are located. The lines emanating from the nodal offices can either be designed in such a way that a separate line leads to each sub-office or that several sub-offices are connected in parallel to one line. Since the telecommunication devices for the transmission of the remote control and communication circuit are of no interest, they are only shown schematically in the drawing.
Not about the drawings. To make too confusing, the circuit of the remote control and telecommunication devices is only given in broad outline, as far as it is necessary to understand the invention. The aim here is to prevent the overall circuit from becoming too confusing by listing all circuit details.
In Fig. 1, in the dash-dotted outline: a rectangle, which is denoted by III, the part of the circuit of the main telephone exchange is indicated which is of interest for the remote control circuit. In the Fernsprechbauptamt are the automatic telephone equipment via which the traffic takes place within the local network of the main office.
These automatic devices are represented by fully drawn out rectangles in which the letters T3 are attached. From the main telephone office, long-distance lines (Li, L (i)) lead to node offices that can be reached from the main office. Only in node office 1 (jNi), to which the line Li leads, is the circuit part schematically indicated, which is important for the switching of the remote control and telecommunication circuits. This circuit part of the node office is shown in a dash-dotted rectangle and labeled IV.
A second node exchange, to which the line L6 leads, is indicated by a right labeled KN-. you in the node offices are in turn automatic telephone equipment for the transmission of long-distance calls. Individual trunk lines L3, L4 now lead from the node offices to various telephone sub-offices. For these, too, no details are given on the design of the telephone circuits.
For the remote control apparatus, a Zen tralstelle is provided, which has a control panel and a selector circuit. The control panel is represented by a dashed and dotted rectangle and marked with I be. The selector circuit is shown in the rectangle represented by dash-dotted lines and denoted by 1I.
A trunk line L leads from the central office to the part of the remote control device belonging to the main telephone office. A line L2 leads from the remote speaking device of the node exchange 1 to the remote control apparatus of the intermediate point located at the node exchange. The remote control intermediate point itself is shown in the dot-dashed rectangle marked V.
Of the stations that are controlled by the remote control intermediate point, the remote control circuit is only given schematically for station 5 in the dash-dotted rectangle vI.
<I> The </I> transmission <I> of </I> remote control commands. In the control circuit diagram I the necessary command buttons and the control lamps are arranged. The command buttons, of which the buttons Ta to Td are shown in the figure, the commands to be transmitted, as well as those intermediaries and substations are selected to which the commands are to be transmitted. Some of the keys are used to select the substations and intermediate positions, while others are used to select the commands. Several buttons can be pressed at the same time.
If a command is to be transmitted to all substations, a special command key will be provided for this purpose, which automatically initiates the transmission of the set command to all substations in the entire network.
The control lamps light up to indicate the execution of the transmitted commands.
It is now assumed that a command is to be given from the central point via the intermediate point of the node exchange 1 to the substations that are on the lines L3 and L4. In the central point, the keys Ta to Td have been pressed to send this command. The Ta key is used to select the intermediate point, the <I> T b </I> and Te keys to select the substations to which the command is to be transmitted, and the Td key to determine the command to be transmitted.
After pressing the keys, a numeric transmitter is started up in the central station, which sends preselection pulses to the central telephone office and automatically establishes the connection to the first node exchange KNi.
The activation of the numeric transmitter takes place via a contact a, which is either operated manually or is dependent on a relay, which is influenced by the command buttons, and the normally closed contact of the contact bank ZWI of the numeric transmitter and the closed contacts hi and iu. Here at the pulse relay J comes to Anspre chen and closes a circuit at contact ii for the incremental magnet DZW of the encoder. At the same time, a circuit for the switching magnet DGW of the Fort is at the contact i2
Remote control group selector located in the main office closed. The numeric transmitter moves one step forward and the pulse relay J then finds a new voltage via the interconnected contacts of the numeric transmitter contact bank ZWI.
In addition to the contacts il and i2, the relay J also actuates a contact i3 via which the relay <I> JU </I> is made to respond. The relay <I> JU </I> causes its contact iu to open, whereby the pulse relay J is de-energized again and its contacts ii, i2 and i3 open again.
The circuit for the indexing magnet DZW is interrupted at contact il, the circuit for the indexing magnet DGW at contact i2 and the circuit for relay <I> JU </I> is interrupted at contact. After the contact iu is closed again, the relay J can respond again. The interaction of the relays J and <I> JU </I> means that the numeric transmitter and the remote control group selector are switched on.
When the numeric transmitter, i.e. the contact arm of the contact bank ZWa of the numeric transmitter, reaches the contact to which the Ta key is connected, the relay JU will respond longer than before, since apart from the contact i3, the contacts <I> v, </I> h? and the button Ta creates a circuit for this relay. The contact r, which interrupts this circuit again, is dependent on a delay relay, not shown, which is maintained by the relay J and cannot drop out during the short fall times of the relay J.
Only when the pulse relay J is de-energized for a long time due to the prolonged excitation of the relay JIT does the relay drop out and. opens his contact z #. In the figure, the contact z # is drawn in its working position.
If the pulse relay J is kept de-energized for a longer period of time in the manner just described, the relay L 'connected to the contact bank GTT' I of the remote control group selector will respond in the main office.
This relay itself maintains, not shown, via the contact of a time delay device influenced by the pulse transmission. When spoken to, it relocates the u <I> 12 </I> contact and thus deactivates the remote control group selector in the telephone exchange. At the contact uli, the long-distance line Li is switched to a contact of the contact bank GTTTII of the remote control group selector.
A direct connection is now established from the pulse transmission device of the central office via the connection line L5 to the main office and from there via the connection line Li to the first node office.
In the central station, when the pulse relay J has been de-energized for a long time, a relay (not shown) comes into operation which switches its contacts 14 to ha. Here through the relays <I> I </I> and <B> JU, </B>, which represent the pulse transmission device, respectively from the contact banks ZTVI. ZIT'II of the encoder switched off and to the contact banks BTVI respectively. BTTTH of the command selector switched on.
The continuation magnet DZIV is switched off at the contact h3 and switched on for the switching magnet DBW to the contact ü.
However, the transmission of the actual command pulse range is only released some time after the node office preselection. This delay in the transmission of the command pulse sequence is necessary because the special group dialer introduced in your main telephone office LTm switch and Has separation rights, i.e. he has the opportunity to
also to clear a connection line occupied by a long-distance call to the selected node exchange at any time for the benefit of an intended remote control. Since this inevitable separation requires a certain time, the transmission of the main pulse train is always delayed by this time, even in the case in which the connection line in question is not occupied by a long-distance call.
After the direct connection from the central office to the node office has been established, comes there. a switching device for addressing, which is shown in the Fig. \? is shown schematically by the relay LT-. This L: nisehalteinrichtung switches the long-distance line Li from. the automatic telephony device of the node exchange and connects it finitely to the line L2, which leads to the remote control intermediate point.
The switching device represented by the relay (s) has a release time delay in order to keep the connection line switched over when there is a pause in the transmission of the command or 13-part pulse sequences.
After the time required to switch through the long-distance line has passed, the command selector of the central office starts switching. This takes place in the manner described by the interaction of the relays J and JU. Relay J switches on the command selector relay magnet DBII 'via contact ii on the one hand in a certain rhythm and on the other hand causes contact i # _,
a progression of the Befelilsspeicherwählers in the intermediate place by actuating the rotary magnet DBTTT 'this memory selector. Command selector in the central controller and command memory selector in the intermediate point are thus incremented synchronously.
The command is transmitted by inserting pauses in the incremental pulse sequence in such a way that the relay <I> JU </I> every time the contact arm of the contact bank BWa of the command selector reaches a contact on which one of the keys <I> Tb </I> to Td is connected, finds a holding circuit that leads via contacts v, h2 and the buttons.
As already mentioned, this holding circuit remains until contact c opens, but the pulse relay J also remains de-energized and the long-distance line is de-energized. In the remote control intermediate point there is a delay relay, not shown, which is excited by the incoming pulses and does not fall during the short break between two normal pulses.
If, however, the long-distance line has been de-energized, this relay closes its normally closed contact p and depending on the contact position of the command memory selector in which this drop occurs, one or the other memory relay connected to the contact bank BEWI is made to respond.
Since in the present case all stations connected to lines L3, L4 are supposed to execute a command, the two station selection relays Gi and G2 and the command selection relay Ei assigned to the desired command respond, da the pauses in the incremental pulse series occur under the action of the keys <I> T b </I> to Td in the corresponding contact positions of the command memory selector.
If another command is to be given, another key, not shown, is pressed instead of the key Td, which then causes a pause in the incremental pulse series in a contact position of the command selector in which the command selection relay E2 respectively It can be excited.
At the end of the transmission, the synchronous running of the selector is checked in the usual way by again inserting a pause in the last contact position of the command selector. If the command selector of the central point and the command memory selector of the intermediate point are in the same contact position at this point in time, the relay St is activated, which only in this case allows the processing of further switching operations in the intermediate point.
This ensures that the intended collective command is transmitted to the intermediate point with the reliability typical of remote control systems.
However, in order to give the control station the certainty that the transmitted pulse train will not be adversely affected by impulse interference or contact bouncing and that the command cannot therefore be properly executed, a single acknowledgment pulse is then returned to the control station by the intermediate station for every properly received collective command . The transmission means for this intermediate pulse are not specified in the drawing. The impulse can be triggered by the relay St, which, as already mentioned, only responds if the transmission was correct.
This relay causes that with the help of a contact, not shown, a pulse is given on the line L2, which arrives via the lines Li and L5 to the central point and there causes the actuation of a relay, not shown, which opens the start contact a and thus prevents the selection process from starting again immediately after the voters return to the zero position. If the acknowledgment pulse is not received, the transfer process is initiated again over contact a.
11If the transmission of the collective command fails with this second selection and the acknowledgment pulse remains even after the second transmission, a timer (not shown) that came to an end during the transmission occurs in the central station and switches in the control circuit diagram for the relevant node office a failure lamp, not shown, by which the switchman is informed that the transmission of the command to the relevant intermediate point was not possible despite two attempts.
However, if the acknowledgment pulse arrives in the desired manner after the second transmission, the time <B> en </B> is made ineffective via a contact of the relay that receives the acknowledgment pulse.
The insertion of selection pauses in the pulse series and the introduction of an acknowledgment pulse in the reverse direction would normally trigger the established connection to the node exchange. In order to maintain these connections for the duration of the command pulse sequence and the acknowledgment pulses, a Delay relay chain shown in the central office as well as in the node office the assignment and switching of the connection up to the proper execution of the collective command received.
The connection is only triggered by the devices on both sides after the delay relay chain has dropped, which follows the collective feedback transmitted after the command has been executed.
In the event that a repeated transmission of the collective command becomes necessary as a result of a pulse disturbance, the connection is initially still established and is only disconnected at the end of the second pulse sequence, if in this case too the collective command was not properly transmitted.
After relays Gi, G2 and Ei have been activated in the intermediate station via the command reception selector and the collective command to be transmitted has been saved, this command is transmitted from the intermediate station to the individual substations connected to the intermediate station. For this purpose, a sequence selector is first started up in the intermediate point, which has the task of ensuring that the stored command is transmitted to the individual substations in the correct sequence.
The start of the follow-up selector depends on the completion of the selection of the command reception selector. This is shown in the figure \? indicated by the fact that the switching magnet DFK ITT of the following voter is connected to the last contact of the voter bank BED '"of the command receiving selector via the switching device EZ'.
The forwarding of the commands can be a transmission to a single substation or to a whole line of such substations. In any case, when the subsequent voter is checked on the individual outgoing line, it is separated from the telephony equipment in the node office and switched through to the impulse transmission relay Jh of the command sending device of the intermediate unit for the purpose of passing the command to be transmitted.
Since it was assumed that the two relays Gi and G2 intended for the station selection had responded, when the subsequent selector comes to the first position, the relay FS is immediately activated via contact g2 and the first contact of the dial .erbank FTTVI11 of the subsequent voter to speak, which initiates the flow of the command to the stations determined by the subsequent voter by closing contact fs,
which has the effects mentioned later. The sequence dialer remains during the transmission of the command pulses by using means not shown in the once occupied position and keeps the trunk switched off from the automatic telephone device during this time. In the assumed position of the follower voter, a direct connection is established from the impulse transmission contact ki of the intermediate point via the first contact of the voter bank FII'Kiv of the follower voter and the long-distance line L3 to the impulse receiving relays ES of stations 4 and 5.
When the relay FS responds and the contact fs closes, the command selector of the intermediate point starts up, as this closes a circuit for the relay JK. When the contact iki is actuated, both the switching magnet DBTYK of the command selector and the receiving relay ES of the substation 5 or the dependent switching solenoid DBWS current.
The switching magnet in substation 4 is operated in the same way. In the same way, as already described for the progression of the numeric transmitter by the relays <I> J </I> and <I> JU </I>, the relay JK actuates a contact, not shown here, through which the relay JUIC to respond is brought. As a result, after the contact iuk has opened, the relay JK is switched off and the relay JUK is thus de-energized again by the contact of the relay JK, not shown.
After the contact iuk is closed again, a new circuit for the relay JK is established. The relays JIL and JUK switch each other on and off and cause the switching of the command selector in the intermediate point and the substations 4 and 5 in synchronism. If the contact arm BWKIIr of the command selector of the intermediate point reaches the contact to which the closed contact ei is connected, the relay JUK is held in a second circuit which leads via the contact vlc and the contact ei.
In this way, a pause is inserted into the series of switching pulses, which is ended by opening the contact vk. The contact vk is dependent on a delay relay, not shown, which is excited by a contact, not shown, of the relay JK and can only drop if the relay JK is de-energized for a long time. The contact vk is shown in the working position.
If another command has been given and as a result one of the relays E2 and E3 has been energized, the pause takes place on the contacts of the command selector to which the contacts e2 and es are connected.
In, the substation 5, a relay (not shown) has fallen during the selection pause, which has closed its contact ps. Via the contact arm of the contact bank BWSII, the relay Bi responds and closes a holding circuit, not shown. This prepares a specific command. If the command selectors of the intermediate point and the substation have been switched in synchronism over all bank contacts to which command contacts such as ei, e2, e3 are connected, the bank contact to which the contact st is connected is reached.
This contact is actuated by the relay St, which was energized at the end of the impulse transmission from the central point to the intermediate point via the contact bank BEWy in the same way as the relays G1, G2, Ei by inserting a pause. The contact st is therefore closed, and when the contact arm of the contact bank BWI # CIII comes to the associated bank contact, a pause in the series of incremental pulses is caused in the same way as by the contact ei.
This pause is used for synchronous operation monitoring. Only if the command selector in the intermediate point and the substation 5 have been advanced to this contact position in synchronism can the relay SK come into action when the pause is inserted and the contact ps is closed.
If the relay SK has come to respond, it closes a contact, not shown, which is in series with a contact of the relay Bi, also not shown, and through which a circuit for a command relay, not shown, is finally closed. The command execution relay actuates an assigned switch which is located in the power circuit to be influenced.
In the same way as just described for substation 5, the processes in substation: 4 take place. Before the transmission of a message from the individual stations, which takes place after the remote control process, is dealt with, the further processing of the collective command by the remote control equipment of the intermediate point should first be described.
If the individual stations, in this case stations 4 and 5, are properly informed that the transmitted command has been properly executed, the subsequent selector of the intermediate station then switches to the next long-distance line (L4) and it is switched off depending on the renewed response of the relay FS, the command selector of the intermediate point is stimulated to cycle again. Here, in the same way as the line L3 and the stations 4 and 5 has already been shown, the command is transmitted to the stations 1 to <B> 3 </B> connected to the line L4.
If further long-distance lines and substations are connected to the intermediate station, the transfer to this takes place after the subsequent selector continues to switch by rotating the command selector again.
In the event that the acknowledgment messages from a subscriber loop of the stations connected to a line do not arrive properly, the sequence dialer automatically makes a second cycle of the command selector for the same line before it switches to the new subscriber loop . In this way, attempts are made to compensate for a one-time impulse disturbance of the individual impulse series by automatic repetition of commands.
If the subsequent dialer of an intermediate station has passed the transmitted command on to the desired substations of the relevant intermediate station and has received the individual execution messages in the manner described later, these messages are collectively forwarded to the control center via the connection that is still established.
After this collective message has been received in the central office, the connection to the node exchange KNi is disconnected and the remote control group selector of the central telephone exchange sets up the connection to a new node exchange in the event that a command is to be transmitted to all stations in the network here. In this way, a collective command can be passed on to the individual node offices one after the other in a certain sequence until the intended switchover has finally taken place in all stations of the network.
Subsequent to the transmission of the commands to the individual stations, a message follows about the correct execution of the command. This could be done in a known manner in that the positions of the individual switches of the substations are reported to the intermediate point by starting a special feedback selector. In the present case, however, in which it is a matter of controlling a larger number of stations, such a message would take too long to complete.
As a result, a significantly shortened type of message is used.
Since when the commands are transmitted to the individual stations, only a single command is transmitted to a substation during a transmission process, it is not necessary that a message be given in detail about the type of command executed, but it is sufficient if only reported. that the command transmitted to the substation and ensured by the control has been carried out. Such a type of feedback is particularly harmless if such switching devices are installed in the individual stations that only allow one of the possible commands and only allow another command to be carried out when the first has been carried out.
In the exemplary embodiment, the execution of the command is reported back to the intermediate unit in that the synchronously rotating command dialers in the relevant substations and the intermediate unit are switched on by a certain number of steps after they have passed through the common command position.
Each of these further steps is assigned to a specific station of the relevant long-distance line. If the command selector comes to the reporting step assigned to the relevant station, the contact of the feedback relay in the station causes an impulse to be sent to the intermediate point if the command is executed correctly. In the exemplary embodiment, this is done by closing the feedback contact rm when it is carried out correctly in station 5.
If the command selector of station 5 reaches the last contact with his contact bank BWSI, the pulse transmitter relay JS responds and, by actuating the contact is, transmits a pulse to the intermediate point, which is there via the selector bank FWKa, the contact ik2 and the selector bank BWKI des Command selector of the intermediate point is fed to the feedback relay S2.
The purpose of the älc2 contact is to prevent that when the iki contact is working, not only is current applied to the trunk lines L3 or L4, but also to relays connected to the BWKI contact bank via the FWKII contact bank.
For station 4, a message pulse would be transmitted over line L3 in the same way, which is in the intermediate. set the signal relay Si to respond.
The feedback receiving relays Si and 82 are not provided for each individual station, but they are common to the corresponding stations of the individual lines, that is, the station 4 connected to line L3 and station 1 connected to line L4 can do the Re affect S1,
while station 5 connected to line La and station 2 connected to line L4 can influence relay S2. Another feedback receiving relay, not shown, is provided for station d. In order to be able to undertake an exact definition of the feedback for the individual stations in the intermediate station, special control relays Zi to Z4 are arranged in the intermediate station and are assigned to each individual station.
The A setting of this control relay takes place on the one hand via the contacts of the feedback relays Si, 82 and on the other hand via the contacts of the relay Fi, F2 assigned to the sequence selector. Since the subsequent voter assumes a certain position when the individual feedback is transmitted to a line at closed stations, a relay is provided for each line on the subsequent voter contact bank FWKI,
and the control relays are released for influencing the individual lines, depending on the setting of the subsequent selector.
Since each remote-controlled station in the intermediate station is assigned a special control relay, it is clear at the end of the cycle of the subsequent voter for a certain collective command through the switched-on control relay in the equipment of the intermediate station whether all stations of this intermediate station have carried out the command have resp. which stations could not be recorded.
If a more precise definition of the individual command executions should be necessary to the effect of which commands were executed individually by the stations, this can be achieved in a simple manner that not only a control relay is provided for each remote-controlled station from the intermediate point, but also for every command that can be carried out in a remote controlled station from the intermediate station. These control relays can be set as a function of the command memory relays Ei, E2, Es set in the intermediate point.
These relays indicate which command is to be carried out in the interstations, i.e. which command has been carried out with proper transmission. -One can now, depending on the contacts of these command memory relays, always release those control relays that are assigned to this one to execute the command.
In the circuit, this would have the effect that the setting of the control relays Zi to 74 from the consecutively connected contacts of the relays 1'i, F2 of the relays 91, 82 assigned to the lines and the relays Ei to Ea assigned to the individual commands would be dependent.
Since the connection line between the intermediate point and the central point remains switched on during the entire command and signal transmission process, a feedback pulse sequence can be transmitted from there to the central point at the end of the cycle of the subsequent voter in the intermediate point.
This takes place in that a feedback selector starts up in the intermediate point, which controls the position of the individual control relays set in the intermediate point in a manner explained later, on a 21 feedback selector RIT 'and the connected ones in the central point Control relay K,
to Kiv i: iber- trä.gt. The dependence of the start-up of the feedback selector in the intermediate point on the termination. of the circulation of the follower selector is indicated in the figure by the fact that the start-up of the Rüchmeldewählers is dependent on a relay RA, which comes to Anspre at the end of the cycle of the follower selector.
Before the transmission of the alarm pulse begins, the contact ilk is switched over in the intermediate point. The means used for switching are not shown in detail. The transmission line L2 is thereby switched to the feedback device after the command pulses have been received and the transmission of the feedback pulses is prepared.
When the relay RA responds, the contact rcz is closed and this creates a circuit for the relay JR. This relay causes the continuation magnet DRIYK of the feedback selector of the intermediate unit to work and the transmission of pulses to the continuation magnet DRIT- the central unit.
In the same way as was explained for the relays <I> J </I> and JL 'of the central point and JIi and JL'K of the intermediate point, the relays JR and JUR switch with the aid of a contact, not shown Relay JR on and off mutually and thereby cause the series of incremental pulses. The contact z, r- serves in the same way as the contacts r and rk to
to limit a pause in the continuation pulse train. The pauses are brought about whenever the contact arm of the contact bank RWKi encounters a bank contact to which a closed contact zii, 3i, Bai or z41 is connected.
Also. When the feedback is transmitted, an automatic check is carried out to determine whether the voters in the central station and control station are synchronized through to the end. If a fault occurred during the transmission of the pulses, the transmission of the feedback pulse sequence is repeated exactly as with the command transmission.
Due to the incremental pulse series arriving at the central station, the Riicl: m.eldewähler located there is incremented. Each pause that is inserted in the series of incremental pulses causes one of the control relays TI to KIv to respond. The switching of the control relay happens in the same way as has already been explained for the relay Ei to Es and Gi and G2 of the inter mediate.
By issuing commands using the <I> Tb </I> and Tc buttons in the central unit, the group corresponding to a command in front of the control relay lix to ILIV of the central unit is released for influencing the incoming messages from the stations.
If a command was transmitted to the intermediate point, which was then passed on to all stations connected to the intermediate point, a particularly abbreviated acknowledgment follows, which only consists of a long pulse. Through this long pulse transmitted to the central office, all control relays assigned to the given command and the desired stations are switched accordingly.
As can be seen from the figure, the shortened feedback is sent out when all control relays Zy. to Z4 of the intermediary and have closed their contacts tens to 7.42. In this case the relay X responds and sends a long acknowledgment impulse to the control station by switching the contact x, whereby the impulse transmission device of the feedback selector is switched off in the intermediate station.
In the central office, when the long pulse arrives, the delay relay JL is switched off by prolonged switching of the contact drw, so that this relay, which is normally energized and keeps its contact il in the position shown, brings its contact il to switch.
and this closes a circuit for the rapid signaling relay SM. The quick signaling relay has the ability to influence all control relays KI to KIv through the contacts sm. Depending on the position of the control relays K to Krv, signal lamps LI to LIv in the control panel respond,
which inform the switchman that the command processes have been carried out.
If the transmitted command is not executed in one or more stations of an office, a special, non-illustrated interference lamp is lit up for each of these stations, which clearly identifies this station. indicates
