Float valve-for containers with adjustable water level. The object of the present inven tion relates to a float valve for loading containers with adjustable water levels, such as. B. cistern for water closet, the float causes the valve to open and close by means of a lever. In order to set the water level in such systems, in which the inlet valve is closed after reaching a certain water level, and thus to determine the liquid content, it is necessary to change the position of the float in relation to its position in relation to the valve. There are ver different solutions for achieving this purpose have become known.
The most primitive solution is to deform the lever that connects the valve and the float and thus change the deflection angle. According to another solution, the float ball is moved along the rod, this is technically flawless, but only allows small differences in level to be set. The third solution is to bend the valve actuation lever at the end of its useful lever arm and to move the float along the bent part of the linkage. The present invention consists in the fact that the lever is bent at its free end, and that the float in the middle has a watertight passage which closes the inner space for receiving the bent end of the lever, which is adjustably attached in the passage.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown.
Fig. 1 shows a cistern as it is used for water closets; FIG. 2 represents a solution to the problem with previously known but insufficient means; Fig. 3 shows a partial view of the game on a larger scale.
In Fig. 1, 1 is the inlet valve, which is controlled by means of float 2 and lever 3. 4 is the level of the water level to be maintained in the container 5. 6 is the device for emptying the container. It consists of an outlet valve 7 and a double lever 9 provided with a pulling element 8. The float ball 10 is provided with a sealed passage into which the downwardly bent arm 11 of the rod 3 engages. The level of the water in the container is determined by the position of the ball on this arm.
Fig. 2 shows the aforementioned, previously applied arrangement of the float. This, shown in the example shown as a cylindrical sleeve 12, has on its man telfläche an eyelet 13, in which the bent rod 14 engages. The float is held in place by an adjusting screw 15. The comparison of the two solutions reveals the disadvantages of the in 2 easily recognize the old version shown. The system is not stable, it vibrates easily and causes an undesirable noise when the container is emptied.
The fixation of the float on the rod is also not perfect.
The advantages of the new arrangement provided according to the invention emerge even better from the enlarged illustration in FIG. The float ball 16 sits on its interior watertight from closing passage 17, through which the bent arm of the locking actuator rod 18 is guided. The fixation of the float in its position can be done as drawn by the arm as a screw benbolzen and the upper end of the implementation 17 are designed as a nut, or that the Drirclrfiilrrurrg remains unthreaded and a special nut on both sides is provided.
In any case, a lock nut 19 is advisable to secure the connection.
