Hilfsvorrichtung zum Schwimmen. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Hilfs vorrichtung zum Schwimmen, die sich da durch auszeichnet, dass eine Fusshaltevorrich tung an einem das Gehen auf dem Lande gestattenden Organ angeordnet ist, das Klap pen aufweist, die bei im Wasser auszufüh renden Beinbewegungen auf ;den Seiten flächen .des Gelborganes befindliche Ausspa rungen öffnen oder schliessen.
In oder beigegebenen Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Gegenstandes der Erfindung schematisch dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 die Vorrichtung in Seitenansicht, Fig. 2 die Vorrichtung im Schnitt.
Der das Gehen auf dem Lande gestat tende Bügel 1 besteht aus zwei mit Aus sparungen la versehenen Rahmenteilen, die an einer Scheitelplatte 1e beidseitig in stumpfen Winkeln angeordnet sind, derart, dass die Rahmenteile 1b als Gehleisten dienen können.
An den Rahmenteilen ,sind in der Nähe .der Scheitelplatte 1c Lager 5 für Klap pen 6 angebracht, welch letztere in an die Rahmenteile angelegtem Zustande die Aus sparungen la völlig verschliessen.. Die Klap pen sind an ihrem obern Rande etwas vom Bügel weg abgebogen, wodurch ein Anschlag i gebildet wird, der ein zu weites Öffnen der Klappen verhindert.
Auf der 'Scheitel platte 1e ist unter Zwischenschaltung von Distanzstücken 2 und,der Stützplatte 2a eine Fusshaltevorrichtung 3, 4 angeordnet, die als Sandale ausgebildet ist. 8 stellt eine oder mehrere Querleisten zwischen ,den Rahmen teilen dar, diediesen einen besseren Halt ver leihen und das zu tiefe Einsinken der Vor richtung beim Gehen auf dem Lande, z. B. im Sand, verhindern.
Die seitlichen Rahmenteile 1 können statt in stumpfem Winkel in rechtem oder spitzem Winkel an der Scheitelplatte angeordnet sein. Die Gehleisten 1b können an ihrer freien Kante verstärkt bezw. kufenförmig ausgebil- det sein, um ein zu tiefes Einsinken in -den Boden zu verhindern, bezw. ein schleifendes Gehen zu gestatten. Die Gehleiste kann auch nur aus einem Bügel bestehen.
Die Stützplatte 2a kann an der Scheitel- platte 1e gegebenenfalls drehbar angeordnet sein. Man kann auch Aus-,veehselbarkeit der Platte 2a oder andere den Fuss tragende Teile vorsehen, derart z. B., dass die Auswechslung in der Längsrichtung des Fusses erfolgt.
Die Klappen können flach oder gewölbt ausgebildet sein, auch kann :die gesamte Vor richtung nach hinten oder vorne divergierend gebaut sein. Das Material der Vorrichtung kann Leichtmetall, z. B. Aluminiumblech sein, jedoch auch anderes Material ist ver wendbar. Zweckmässigerweise können die Klappen durch eine Hebelverbindung ge steuert sein, so dass sich ihre Bewegungen jeweils übereinstimmend auswirken.
Die Befestigung der Vorrichtung am Fuss kann ausser in der dargestellten und beschrie- benen Weise auch anders, z. B. durch Be nützung einer Hohlkappe für die Fussspitze und von Riemen für das Fussgelenk erfolgen.
Die Vorrichtung gestattet ein Gehen auf dem Lande durch die den Klappen vorste henden Bügelteile 1b. Im Wasser schliessen sich die Klappen durch Nachziehen der Füsse. Beim Rückwä.rtsstossen oder Abwärts- stossen der Füsse öffnen sich die Klappen automatisch.
Die Betätigung der Hilfsvorrichtung er folgt beim Nichtschwimmer annähernd wie beim normalen Gehen auf dem Lande. Der Schwimmer wird vorzugsweise normale Schwimmbewegungen ausführen; die sieh beim Ausstossen der Beine öffnenden Klap pen erzeugen eine sehr viel stärkere Wasser verdrängung als bei gewöhnlichen Schwimm bewegungen und erleichtern infolgedessen das Zurücklegen grosser Distanzen.
Für geübte, starke Schwimmer wird der Schwimmschuh in der gezeichneten Form verwendet. Diese Form bewirkt ein rascheres öffnen der Klappen, bevor der R.'ückstoss einsetzt. Der Kraftaufwand ist daher wie auch die Wirkung grösser, da ein Leerlauf hierbei vermieden wird.
Die Klappen können auch derart ange ordnet sein, dass sie sich beim Abstossen der Beine schliessen, beim Anziehen .derselben dagegen öffnen. In diesem Falle müssen sie bei sonst ähnlicher Bauweise der Vorrich tung auf der Innenseite der Rahmenteile liegen.
