Fully automatic cooling system. The invention relates to a fully automatic tables cooling system with several bodies cooled by a common refrigerator. It is known to cool a plurality of cold rooms from a common cooling machine whose operating speeds are set as a function of the temperature of a certain room. This control of the operating speeds has the disadvantage that a certain speed is assigned to each individual room, regardless of whether the current cooling requirement of the room in question is small or large.
But it is also already known to cool a plurality of cooling rooms with a common refrigeration machine, the speed of which is regulated in pressostatic control as a function of the suction pressure of each individual evaporator in the various rooms. However, such a system only works properly if the temperatures required for the individual cold rooms deviate only imperceptibly from one another.
In contrast, the cooling system according to the invention differs in that the cooling machine is switched on and off by one or more thermostats connected in parallel and the operating speed of the cooling machine is set automatically as a function of the suction pressure of the cooling machine, which varies due to the switching on and off of cooling points.
The inven tion creates the possibility of eliminating the aforementioned disadvantages of the systems listed at the outset by not operating each individual cooling point at a specific speed assigned to it, but rather at any operating speed that is adapted to the current cooling requirement.
Furthermore, the invention creates the possibility of perfectly cooling any number of cooling points, the required temperatures of which may differ widely, despite automatic speed setting, and the invention also enables most of the cooling capacity to be generated at the highest possible suction temperature can be, even if part of the cooling system does not require refrigeration or is switched off.
In a cooling system with at least one cooling point to be cooled below 0, in which the cooling points are cooled at temperatures below zero during the periodic shutdown times of the other cooling points and in which the cooling requirement of the normally cooled part of the system is significantly greater than that of the frozen part. the refrigeration machine must only be dimensioned for that part of the cooling system that is required for the rooms with temperatures above 0.
This makes it possible to use a cooling machine with a lower output than was previously required. The economy of the system is consequently increased considerably, because firstly, the rooms with higher temperature can be operated with a significantly higher suction pressure than if the rooms with lower temperature also had to be cooled at the same time. Without speed regulation, a refrigeration machine that is temporarily only loaded with a fraction of its maximum output would suck so deep that the machine would be endangered.
The drawing shows, for example, an electrical circuit diagram of the cooling system according to the invention. The cooling points and their equipment as well as the refrigeration machine itself and the associated parts are assumed to be known and are therefore largely omitted for the sake of simplicity.
The example is based on a cooling system with three cooling points, for example a cooling room, a refrigerator and a glass shop. Each cooling point has a thermostat (not shown). Each thermostat controls with the help of a mercury rocker 1, 2, respectively. 3 two circuits.
One circuit actuates a valve 5 of the refrigerant line 5 'with the help of a solenoid 4, which instead of the liquid line, as shown, could also be the suction line of the machine 15. By the other circuit, the control circuit, a two or more motor protection switch (I'olumeholder) 18 is operated.
These control circuits are all connected in parallel to each other and connected to the coils 16 and 17 of the motor protection switch 18 in series. so that each thermostat alone or all together can put the motor 19 into operation or only all together can put it out of operation. A switching tube 7 with a central contact and two side contacts is installed in the control circuit, which is actuated by a suction pressure switch 12 connected to the suction line 14 via the line 13 by means of a linkage 11, 10, 9 and 8. With increasing suction pressure, which varies when cooling points are switched on and off.
the interrupter 7 is rotated to the right and, with decreasing suction pressure, to the left. so that in the first case the coil 16 and in the second case the coil 17 is energized and the switch 18 is switched over so that the motor 19, when the suction pressure is below a certain limit, with nied riger speed and when it is above this Limit is, works at a higher speed. The cold time line is therefore automatically brought up to the number of tours corresponding to the current cooling requirement of the corresponding refrigeration point.
The motor protection switch has two or more contactors with separate thermal package releases so that the latter remains protected even if the motor draws less amps.
The motor is switched on and off by the thermostats.
Instead of a pole-changing electric motor, any electric motor that can be regulated within any limits, i.e. every electric motor with gradual or continuous speed control can be used.
Instead of a pole-changing motor, a three-phase secondary fault commutator motor with servomotor can be used, in which the change in speed is effected by current pulses on the servomotor. The latter is set in rotation by the control circuit of the thermostat, wherein it sets the brushes of the motor 19 so that the number of revolutions of the motor 19 is increased or decreased depending on the direction of rotation of the servo motor.
In this case, instead of a switching tube with a central position, a switch tube with a neutral position is used in the control circuit, so that the speed of the drive motor is not changed at normal suction pressure. When the suction pressure increases, the interrupter Z is turned to the right and when the suction pressure decreases, to the left, so that in the first case the servomotor moves the brushes forwards and in the second case backwards, thereby reducing the speed of the drive motor with decreasing suction pressure and with increasing suction pressure is increased. The suction pressure of the system remains practically constant.
In order to avoid overdriving, it is provided that a current pulse clock is switched on in the control circuit.
In a cooling system with at least one cooling point to be cooled below 0 C, in which the cooling points with temperatures above 0 C are cooled during the periodic shutdown times of the other cooling points, and in which the cooling requirement of the deeply cooled part of the system is almost the same or greater than that of the normally cooled part, the refrigeration machine only needs to be dimensioned for that part of the system that is required for the rooms with temperatures below 0 C. As a rule, the speed setting is only activated when the machine is working on the rooms with higher levels of cooling, while the machine always runs at maximum speed during the cooling periods on the frozen rooms.
In this case it is necessary to connect a control relay in the control line of the thermostats of the deep-frozen rooms.
