Device for the production of blueprints. The invention relates to a device for producing blueprints with which the exposure process and the development process can be carried out in one operation. The device is intended in particular for working according to the diazotype method.
The present device has an exposure device, a developing device and at least one suction table over which a porous conveyor belt runs, which guides the pauses leaving the exposure device to: the developing device, means being provided to feed the original from the pause separate before the latter reaches the developing device.
Appropriately, the exposure device used works in üblir cher manner with tape transport. It can then find the same conveyor belt with a suitable arrangement of the suction table at the same time in this use.
To separate the dull original from the pause sucked in by the suction table and to guide the original away. a second suction table, over which a porous transport cloth also runs.
Since pause and original generally stick together fairly tightly as a result of the occurrence of electrical forces, considerable effort is required to separate them.
The second suction table is therefore expediently positioned in such a way that the suction surfaces of the two tables face one another and the tables are in this way. Angle to each other are arranged that @ their suction surfaces converge arrow-shaped. The tip of the arrow should be close to the point where pause and original leave the exposure direction.
Instead of separating the original from the pause by suction, you can blow compressed air or another gas between the two to separate the original and pause.
For this purpose, a nozzle from which compressed air can be blown can be arranged in the vicinity of the suction table sucking in the pause in such a way that the air jet emerging from the nozzle hits an edge, specifically the front edge of the pause (based on the direction of movement of the pause) is blown. The suction table is expediently positioned so that the original, loosening from the break, can fall freely under the influence of gravity.
The nozzle mentioned expediently has a blow-out slot which extends over the entire width of the suction table. It is advisable to arrange the nozzle in a rotatable manner. To adjust the amount of air to be blown out, a throttle valve can be provided. The same fan or the like is expediently used to supply the compressed air required for the nozzle and to exhaust the suction table.
Instead of the nozzle mentioned, a roller brush can also be provided, which rotates in the opposite direction to the direction of the pause movement and the pause with its; Brushing brushes.
A particularly reliable effect can be achieved if one combines two of the above-described means for separating pause and original and, for example, alongside. a second: suction table or the compressed air nozzle respectively. arranges the brush roller.
Three exemplary embodiments of the device according to the invention are shown schematically in the accompanying drawing.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, 1 denotes a light source, for example an arc lamp or mercury vapor lamp, the light of which falls on the curved glass pane 2.
3 shows a porous conveyor belt which runs over the guide rollers 4, 5 and 6, the spreader roller 7 and the suction table 8 and is pressed against the glass pane 2. The conveyor belt 3 consists for example of felt or of finely perforated rubber band. The suction table 8, which expediently has a slightly curved suction surface, is designed in the usual way.
It has a sheet metal box whose side facing the conveyor belt is perforated; the inside of the box is connected to a fan or other suction device.
9 is a further porous conveyor belt which runs over the rollers 10 and 11 and a second suction table 21 and between the point B, where the pause and original leave the exposure device and the point where pause and original diverge, the transport cloth 3 touched. The development device has as an essential component an ammonia container 19 with a perforated cover plate.
The trans port belt 1.3, which runs over the rollers 1.1 and 1, is attached to the perforated cover plate of the ammonia container 12. Instead of such a development device, any other gas development device or possibly also a device for development with the aid of a liquid can of course also be used. 16 illustrates a nozzle from which compressed air can be blown. 17 and 18 are guide plates.
19 is a table that makes it easier to introduce original and pause into furnishings.
The operation of the described device is as follows: The light-sensitive paper is placed on the table 19 and the original to be paused is placed on it. The introduction of pause and original into the exposure device takes place at point A. The pause and the original move then between the glass pane 2 and the conveyor belt 3 forwards, whereby the crediting he follows. At point B the exposure has ended.
Pause and original move from this point on between conveyor belts 3 and 9. Below the roller 5, under the influence of the suction tables and the air blown out of the nozzle 16, the separation of pause and original takes place. The original is led away through the cloth 9 and falls into the trough D formed by the sheet 1.7.
The pause is conveyed on by the transport cloth 3 and moves, guided by the guide plate 17, to the development device. After this has run through, the finished break at C falls into the trough formed by the sheet 1.8.
The suction force of the suction table 8 is expediently greater than that of the suction table 21, so that the pause, which in practice mostly protrudes somewhat compared to the original, is reliably sucked in by the suction table 8. The suction power of the two tables can be regulated by built-in throttle valves.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from the one described above in that the suction table 21 is omitted. With this device, the original, separated from the pause with the aid of the nozzle 16 after exposure, falls down under the influence of gravity into the depression D of the plate 17.
20 is a screen to protect the break from exposure to light.
As FIG. 3 shows, a brush roller 22 can also be provided in place of the nozzle 1.6.
