Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlöslichen     Azofarbstoffes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz  patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung  eines wasserlöslichen     Azofarbstoffes,    welches  dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man     diazo-          tierte        2-Naphtylamin-6,8-disulfonsäure    mit  2 -     (.Sulfoäthylamino)-8-naphtol-6-sulfonsäure     in alkalischem Medium vereinigt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>       30,.3        Gewichtsteile    2:     Naphtylamin-6,8"di-          sulfonsäure        (112o1.        Gew.    803) werden mit 200       Volumteilen    Wasser und 15     Volumteilen     roher Salzsäure von 20       B6    verrührt, mit  Eis auf 3   C gekühlt und mit einer Lösung  von 6,

  9 Gewichtsteilen     Natriumnitrit    in 50       Volumteilen    Wasser     diazotiert.    Die     Diazo-          verbindung    gibt man nun bei     0'-C    langsam       in    eine     wässrige    Lösung von 41 Gewichtstei  len des     Dinatriumsalzes    der     2-(Sulfoäthyl-          amino)-8-naphtol-6-suHonsäure    und 30 Ge  wichtsteilen     calciniertem        Natriumcarbonat.     Nach beendeter Kupplung wird der Farb  stoff     ausgesalzen,    filtriert und getrocknet.

      Er eignet sich besonders zum Färben von  Leder.  



  Chromgares Ziegenleder wird wie üblich  entsäuert und     mit    2 % des obigen Farbstof  fes gefärbt. Das Leder ist vollkommen durch  gefärbt und zeigt an der Oberfläche, wie  auch im Schnitt eine     gelbstichige    Braunfär  bung. Die fertig zugerichteten Leder     sind     gut     zwickecht.

      It is particularly suitable for dyeing leather.



  Chrome goatskin is deacidified as usual and dyed with 2% of the above dye. The leather is dyed completely and shows a yellowish brown color on the surface as well as in the cut. The finished leather is well tweaked.

Claim: Process for the production of a water-soluble azo dye, characterized in that diazotized 2-naphthylamine-6,8-disulfonic acid is combined with 2- (sulfoethylamino) -8-naphthol-6-sulfonic acid in an alkaline medium . The dye thus obtained forms a brown powder which dissolves in water with a brown color and dyes leather well in yellowish brown tones.
