Description

Ignition system with built-in 1-hole ohm resistors to suppress interference from radio systems. The high-frequency oscillations emanating from ignition systems in motor vehicles are often made aperiodic by high-ohmic resistors built into the high-voltage lines of the ignition circuits so that they cannot cause any disturbances in radio sets.
The high-ohmic resistances are switched on in the individual high-voltage lines and, for example, built into the parts of the ignition system from which the high-frequency oscillations originate.
According to the invention, a particularly expedient and space-saving arrangement of the high-resistance resistors in the parts of the ignition system that act as sources of interference results from the fact that the parts are equipped with a socket made of two metallic parts, which are connected by the resistance are conductively connected to each other.
The resistors can consist of syllable rods or be wound from wire.
1 and 2 show an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a single plug socket with a high-resistance resistance, and FIG. 2 shows a plug socket built into a distributor disk, partially in section. In the figures, a and b are the two parts of the socket that are conductively connected to each other by the resistor c.
In the present case, the resistor is wound from wire onto a synthetic resin insulating body d, in which the parts a and b are bakelitized. The insulating body thus connects the two parts a and b to form a unit.
The installation of such a resistance plug socket in a distributor disc is in
