Stirrer. The invention relates to an apparatus for stirring masses for the purpose of producing whipped cream, mayonnaise, liquid dough or the like.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. It shows: Fig. 1 a front view of the inner stirrer, Fig. 2 a side view, Fig. 3 a front view of the outer stirrer, Fig. 4 schematically the position of the blade of the outer stirrer to the vessel wall, Fig. 5 the switching arrangement of the gear , Finally Fig. 6 in section the apparatus in the mounted state.
The agitator has an inner stirrer (centrifuge), FIGS. 1 and 2, and an outer stirrer (collector), FIG. 3, which both rotate about the same geometrical axis, but in opposite directions and at different speeds . The flat, plate-like inner stirrer is toothed on both long sides. The teeth are arranged alternately so that a tooth on one side has a gap on the other.
The teeth are rectangular, in the direction of rotation of the stirrer forwards and at the same time upwards. A cylindrical stub shaft with a transverse pin connects to the middle, imperforate part of the stirrer for coupling the stirrer to the hollow end of its drive shaft k, the inner full shaft, in the manner of a bayonet lock Arm c and a vertical arm d and a shovel e attached to these arms,
which is not rigidly attached, but can be rotated a few millimeters around two pins. This is achieved by making the holes slightly larger than the pins. A locking pin 1 is attached at the top so that the shovel cannot become detached from the holder. The horizontal arm is angled and has a sleeve b with a locking screw a in order to be able to couple the outer stirrer with its drive shaft h, the outer hollow shaft.
The catching scoop e is in the form of a band, the outer edge lies against the vessel wall f along its entire length and is sharpened. The position of the vane is not radial; H. the blade is not perpendicular to the tangent plane of the point of contact between the blade and the wall (see FIG. 4), but is inclined at an angle α of more than 90 degrees, so that the outer edge leads.
The operation of the apparatus is fol lowing: By a drive device, z. B. an adjustable electric motor, the inner full shaft k in one sense in rapid rotation, and the outer hollow shaft lt in the opposite direction in slow rotation via a gear, for example, the switching arrangement is shown in Fig. 5 and will be described below .
The inner, rapidly rotating stirrer grabs the material and hurls it outwards and at the same time upwards due to the teeth pointing upwards. The catching shovel of the outer stirrer slides slowly over the vessel wall, loosens the mass with its sharp edge and pushes it inwards again into the area of the inner stirrer due to its special shape and position. This results in an intensive cycle of the mass upwards and upwards and inwards and downwards, which causes continuous division, mixing and air saturation and a homogeneous product is obtained.
The transmission, for example, the speed of the motor shaft y of 2500 T / min. to 500 T'min. for the internal stirrer and to 20 T / min. to reduce in the opposite direction for the outer stirrer, has a spur gear with a transmission ratio of 1: 5, so that a shaft parallel to the motor shaft in the opposite direction with 500 T / min. running. The motor shaft g has a worm at one end that engages with a worm wheel attached to the vertical, inner shaft k-.
The transmission ratio of the gearbox is 1: 5, so that the shaft k with 500 Tlmin. circulates. At the end of the shaft parallel to the motor shaft, the direction of rotation of which is reversed to that of the motor shaft, a worm is also provided which meshes with a worm gear arranged on the outer, hollow shaft 7a. The gear ratio of this worm gear is. 1:25 and the direction of flight of the worm (left or right) is chosen so that the outer shaft h rotates in the opposite direction to shaft k.
