Route signal box in which the routes are set by stepping devices. Route signal boxes are known in which stepping mechanisms are used to set routes, each route being assigned a contact bank of the switching mechanism. The desired route can be selected by placing the contact arm of the switchgear on one of the contact banks.
The individual actuation steps are then automatically effected by the stepping mechanism because the contact arm in the selected contact bank advances from contact to contact and the associated switch and signal drives etc. are influenced accordingly by the contact closings that occur here.
The control of the contact arms to the desired contact bank is done, usually by a pulse generator, which is stopped or switched off after a certain number of pulses. With everyone. A pulse from the pulse generator energizes a magnet, the armature of which moves the contact arms further by one contact bank. ,
As soon as the impulse to the magnet is interrupted, the rotary movement of the contact arms takes place via the contacts, the contact bank, in front of which the contact arms are currently standing.
The invention is based on the knowledge that a given specific number of pulses does not guarantee that the contact arms of the route control unit are also set to the correct contact bank. Due to mechanical or electrical faults on the pulse generator or the switching magnet, it is quite possible that,
Set the contact arms to a different contact bank than the desired one and then set the wrong route. As a result, train journeys can be endangered or misdirected.
The essence: the invention consists in., A switching means for. Controlling the design of the contact arms within a contact row and making them dependent on a device for checking the respective contact row reached.
that when setting a route, the first control step for setting the route can only be undertaken when the desired contact bank has been reached by the contact arms.
An embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawings and explained below, wherein a lift dial is assumed for the route switch factory, as it eats well known from telephone technology. With these voters several rows of contacts are arranged one above the other,
via which the contact arms are moved by a rotary magnet, while the contact arms are lifted to the desired contact row by an impulse sent to a lifting magnet.
In Fig. 2, the contact set of a Hob rotary selector is indicated. Each of the horizontal rows of contacts K to K10 is assigned to a route. It is assumed that the voter is occupied, for example, only with four routes that are connected to the contact rows K to K4. Each of the routes can be set by pressing the associated route key t to t4 (FIG. 1) if the device was previously in the rest position.
For example, the route arranged on the third row of contacts (FIG. 2) should be set. For this purpose, the signalman presses the route key t3 (Fig.
1) and thereby sets a pulse generator U of known design in motion. This pulse generator U now sends current impulses to the rotary magnet Vd of a simple rotary selector V and at the same time to the lifting magnet H of the lever-operated rotary selector indicated in FIG. The rotary arm of the rotary selector V (Fig. 1) is moved from its basic position via the con tacts 1 to 10 in the rhythm of the impulse.
In the same rhythm, the contact arms of the lever-operated rotary selector (FIG. 2 '), of which only the first arm 70 is shown, are raised from the zero position one after the other into the input positions of the contact rows K to Klo. At the same time as the contact arms, the sliding spring 60 is raised, which is connected to a control contact s, in each contact row.
until s4 establishes the connection. When pressing the route button t3 (Fig. 1), the button contacts t32 and t31 have been closed at the same time.
As soon as the arm of the selector V has reached contact 3 after three pulses, the relay 30 receives current and opens its contact 31. The pulses from the pulse generator U up to that point are the lifting magnet H followed. So he has raised the contact arms to the third row of contacts (Fig. 2).
The lifting magnet is now switched off from the pulse generator by the open contact 31, so that it knows that it can receive more current surges.
The sliding spring 6.0 (Fig. 2) has reached the sliding contact s3 when the contact arms are raised: Since the key contact t31 is closed, the rotary magnet D now receives a current surge and turns the contact arms in via the contact row K3.
The slide spring 60 is lifted from the test contact s3; and the contact w1 on the selector (Fig. 1) is open. The rotary magnet D switches the contact arms in the contact row 3 automatically through to set the route with self-interrupting contact Dl.
The rotary selector V (Fig. 1); switches its contact arm through to the last contact. There the voter is put to a standstill in a familiar, not shown white.
It can be clearly recognized that turning in the contact arms of the lift-turn dial is only possible in the row of contacts that corresponds to the route key that was pressed.
For the essence of the invention, it is irrelevant whether the first rotary step is controlled via one of the key contacts t, 1 to t41 shown, for example, or another equivalent contact of a route relay etc.
