In ein Bett umwandelbares Sofa. Die allgemeine Teuerung der Mietzinse für Wohnungen steigert immer mehr den Bedarf an Kombinationsmöbeln, welche eine Beschränkung der Zahl der Möbelstücke auf ein Minimum und dadurch auch eine Ein sparung an Wohnräumen ermöglichen. Die häufigsten Bestrebungen gehen dahin, einen Wohnraum als Schlafraum auszunützen, in der Weise, dass z. B. ein Sofa, Divan, Couch oder dergleichen in ein Bett oder Doppel bett umwandelbar eingerichtet ist.
Erfindungsgemäss weist das in ein Bett umwandelbare Sofa ineinandergeschobene Traggestellteile auf, die quer zur Längsrich tung des, Sofas ausgezogen werden können, derart, dass das, Sofa in ausgezogenem Zu stande der Gestellteile in der Auszugsrich tung mindestens annähernd die Länge einer Bettstelle aufweist.
In, der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Gegenstandes der Er findung dargestellt. Es zeigen: Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht des Sofas als Sitzgelegenheit, teilweise im Schnitt, Fig. 2 eine teilweise Vorderansicht mit Schnitt durch das Sofagestell und Fig. 3 eine Seitenansicht des in ein Ruhebett umgewandelten Sofas mit Schnitt durch das Gestell.
Das dargestellte Sofa besitzt zwei über einanderliegende Sitzpolster 1 und 2 und ein Rückenpolster 3. Das. Traggestell 4 des Sofas ist mit einer Rückenlehne 5 und zwei Seiten lehnen 6 versehen. Als Auflager für die Sitzpolster 1 und 2 ,dienen zwei übereinander liegende Tragflächen, welche zwecks Um wandlung des Sofas in ein Ruhebett nach vorn ausziehbar :sind. Die untere Trag fläche ist durch einen Rahmen 7 gebildet, der mit Gurten 8 oder andern nachgiebigen Mitteln bespannt ist.
Am Vorderteil des Rahmens 7 ist eine Fussleiste 9 befestigt, welche den Rahmen 7 in ausgezogener Stel lung vorn, stützt, während er mit seinem Hinterteil auf Führungsleisten 4' im Sofa gestell geführt und durch ein Tragband 10 mit der Oberkante der Rückenlehne 5 verbun den ist. Beidseitig je eine an der Unterseite des Hinterteils des, Tragrahmens 7 vorhan dene Nase 11 gelangt in der Auszugsstellung des Rahmens 7 in Eingriff mit einer an den Führungsleisten 4' am Sofagestell ausgebil deten Raste 12.
In dieser Stellung des Rah mens 7 ist das Tragband 10 gespannt und bil det eine zur Aufnahme des als Kopfpolster verwendbaren Rückenpolsters dienende schiefe Fläche. Die obere Tragfläche wird durch einen ebenfalls mit Gurten 14 oder derglei chen bespannten Rahmen 13 gebildet, der auf dem Rahmen 7 nach vorn ausziehbar geführt ist. Der Vorderteil des Rahmens<B>13</B> ist mittels einer Fussleiste 15 gegen den Bo den abgestützt, während der Hinterteil des Rahmens 13 mittels Gleitstücken 16 in Führungsnuten 17 des Rahmens 7 ein greift, wodurch auch die Ausziehbarken der obern Tragfläche 13, 14 begrenzt ist.
Am Vorderteil des Rahmens 13 ist ferner eine Abschlusslade 18, sowie eine Griffleiste 19 zum Erfassen des Rahmens beim Ausziehen der Tragflächen befestigt.
Um das in Fig. 1 dargestellte Sofa in ein Ruhebett umzuwandeln, wird lediglich der Rahmen 13 an der Griffleiste 19 erfasst und durch Ziahen nach vorn die Tragflächen aus gezogen, bis die Stellung nach Fig. 3 er reicht ist, wo das Sofa in der Auszugsrich tung mindestens annähernd die Länge einer Bettstelle aufweist. Nunmehr wird das obere Sitzpolster 1 neben das Sitzpolster 2 auf die durch Ausziehen frei gewordene Tragfläche 7, 8 und das Rückenpolster 3 auf das schief gespannte Tragband 10 gelegt. Das Zusam menstellen des Ruhebettes geschieht analog in umgekehrter Weise.
