Vorzugsweise sind an den beiden äußeren Kanten der Rückenlehne nach oben aufklappbare und in der Gebrauchsstellung durch Haken o. dgl. feststellbare Hilfstischchen (Nachttischchen) angebracht. Die Polsterung dieses Sofabettes besteht aus lose aufgelegten Polstermatratzen von welchen mindestens vier Matratzen ein Flächenmaß aufweisen, (laß je zwei als Liegematratzen pro Bet; verwendbar sind' und dabei ihre Stoßfugen außerhalb des Bereiches der Übergangskante von Bodenplatte zur Bettkastenoberfläche hzw. außerhalb des Ellenbogenbereiches der ruhenden Person liegen.
