EMI0003.0022
Fahrschalterstellung <SEP> 1 <SEP> 2 <SEP> 3 <SEP> 4 <SEP> 5
<tb> Drehzahl <SEP> <I>n1 <SEP> n2 <SEP> n2 <SEP> n3 <SEP> n3</I>
In folgender Einteilung:
EMI0004.0013
I/o <SEP> I/1 <SEP> I/2 <SEP> I/g
<tb> II/a <SEP> II/I <SEP> II/2 <SEP> II/g
Monitoring device for the operation of internal combustion engine systems with electrical power transmission, in particular for vehicles. The invention relates to a monitoring device for the operation of internal combustion engine systems with electrical power transmission, in particular for vehicles, in which the voltage of the generator serving for power transmission is regulated as a function of the speed in such a way that the load on the internal combustion force at the set speed machine remains constant.
It consists in the fact that a display device influenced by the electrical power and also a display device is provided, which works in dependence on the setting of the fuel amount for the internal combustion engine ar. With the invention the purpose is pursued, from certain differences between tween the display of the display device, the display of the display device and the switch positions of at least one switching element for setting the operating state of the internal combustion engine to enable information about the source of the malfunctions electrical power transmission, it is known
the voltage of the generator used for power transmission as a function of the speed, e.g. B. from the speed controller of the internal combustion engine to regulate. Such regulating devices have the advantage that the power of the internal combustion engine is kept constant at the value that was previously set for the set speed.
For example, if one of the fuel pumps assigned to an internal combustion cylinder does not deliver any fuel or less than normal, the aforementioned control device ensures that the load on the internal combustion engine is reduced to such an extent that the remaining fuel pumps only deliver the normal amount of fuel.
Such an automatic control renders a measuring instrument for measuring the power of the generator superfluous insofar as the operator is never in a position to have to take measures to prevent excessive loading of the internal combustion engine cylinder.
However, the fact that with such systems on vehicles the driver only recognizes a power failure by the too low driving speed, but cannot give an account of the cause of the failure, is a disadvantage that cannot be remedied with the installation of a wattmeter, because this is only can provide numerical information about the size of the power failure, but does not reveal the source of the fault. The advantage of the invention is that it is made possible with simple means to determine immediately whether a power reduction is due to a fault in the internal combustion engine or to the electrical transmission.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the invention is schematically Darge provides.
The diesel engine 1 drives the main generator 2, which is used for power transmission, and the auxiliary generator 3 for the external excitation of the main generator 2. The main generator 2 feeds the traction motors 4. The excitation winding 6 of the main generator 2 and a resistor 7, which is used to regulate the excitation current, are connected to the circuit 5 of the auxiliary generator 3. The contact lever 8 is adjusted by the servomotor piston 9.
The slide 10 controls the pressure medium supply 11 and discharge 12 for the piston 9, the Fe of 13 counteracting the pressure of the pressure medium ent. The slide 10 is adjusted by the speed controller 14 of the internal combustion engine 1 by the lever 15 connected to the sleeve 16 (Fig. 2) its movement by means of the rod 17 on the rotating lever 19 at the pivot point 18 transfers to which the slide 10 is hinged. When the load increases, the sleeve 16 and the rod 17 move to the right.
The slide 10 goes to the left and opens to the pressure medium outlet 12, so that the piston 9 with the contact lever 8 go up and switch steps on the resistor 7. This reduces the excitation and thus the load, so that when there is a balance between load and power, the slide 10 has again returned to the final position shown and prevents the piston 9 from rising further. When the load is reduced, the processes are reversed. The pivot point 18 is designed to be adjustable by its arrangement on the He bel 20.
To adjust the lever 20, the solenoids 21 and 22 and the spring 23 are used. From the sleeve 16 of the controller 14, the rod 26 is actuated by means of the lever 25 rotating about the axis 24 (FIG. 2), which promoted the ge Amount of fuel of the individual internal combustion cylinders of the internal combustion engine 1 associated fuel pumps 27 in a known manner, for.
B. pen by turning the plunger provided with a control edge, adjusts, two of which are combined into a block. The speed regulator 14 is provided with several regulator springs 28, 29 and 30 for setting different speeds, which are set in an electro-pneumatic manner by means of the control switch 31.
In the switching positions 0 and 1 of the control switch 31, the sleeve 16 is only loaded by the spring 28 in FIG. In the switching positions 2 and 3, the solenoid 33 is energized via the line 32 and the valve 34 is in the position shown, so that the pressure medium from the line 35 acts on the piston 36. Since this has been moved to the right in the gezeich designated position up to the stop 37 and has taken the piston 38 with which the spring 29 connects to the spring 28 as a load on the sleeve 16.
In the zero position, when the two pistons 36 and 38 are in the left end position, the left spring plate 39 is some distance from the piston head of the piston 38, similar to the position shown in the piston of the spring plate 40 of the spring 30 something from the spring plate 39 is removed. Only when the magnet 41 also receives power via the line 42 in the switching positions 4 and 5 and the valve 43 is rotated by 90 to access the piston 38 does the piston 38 move further, the edge 44 of which lifts off the piston 36 , on and the spring 30 is switched on in that the spring plate 39 rests on the spring plate 40.
This displacement of the piston 38 is limited by the stop 45. At the different speeds, the voltage regulator 3 'in the circuit of the He excitation winding of the auxiliary generator 3 keeps its voltage constant.
The extension 46 of the lever 25 is provided with a toothing 47 which engages in the tooth segment 48 connected to the lever 15. If the fulcrum 18 of the lever 19 were fixed, the lever 15 would assume one and the same position corresponding to the end position of the slide 10 at all speed settings by means of the control switch 31 and the pistons 36 and 38 with a balance between load and performance of the internal combustion engine 1. But now the position of the pivot point 18 is also determined by means of the control switch 31.
In the position 0 to 2 of the control switch 31, the coils 21 and 22 are de-energized and the firmly verbun those linked to the lever 20 armature 49 and 50 in the outermost position I. In the switch positions 3 and 4 of the control switch 31 receives the Magnet 21 over the line 51 current, so that the armatures 49 and 50 move against the force of the spring 23 to the right until the joint 63 is in position II. In the switching position 5 receives. then the magnet 22 over the line 52 current, while the magnet 21 is switched off.
The armature 50 is now completely drawn into the coil 22; the joint 63 moves into position III. These different positions of the joint kes 63 accordingly, the lever 15 is ent neither at the mark 1-2 of the scale 53 respectively. 3-4 or 5.
The switch 55 in the circuit 5 is used to switch the excitation on and off when the internal combustion engine 1 is running. A shunt 56 is switched into the armature circuit of the main generator 2. The lines 57 branch off on both sides of this shunt lead to the current coil and the lines 58 to the voltage coil of the display device 59 influenced by the electrical power. The display of the display device is made visible by the position of the pointer 60 on the scale 61.
The scale 61 is divided according to the switch positions 0 to 5 of the control switch 31 corresponding setpoints of the power of the generator 2 and also with the numbers 0 to 5, corresponding to the switch positions 0 to 5 of the control switch 31, see ver. The lever 15 is designed to be a display device. The scale 54 with the numbers 1 to 10 only inputs. Measure for the movement of the regulator sleeve 16, while the scale 53 shows whether the amount of fuel pumps För corresponds to the switching positions 0 to 5 of the control switch 31.
The drawing of the control switch cover 62 means that the following torques and speeds are set for the six switch positions:
EMI0003.0022
Travel switch position <SEP> 1 <SEP> 2 <SEP> 3 <SEP> 4 <SEP> 5
<tb> Speed <SEP> <I> n1 <SEP> n2 <SEP> n2 <SEP> n3 <SEP> n3 </I>
<tb> Torque <SEP> 171 <SEP> Ml <SEP> <I> M2 <SEP> 1V1. = <SEP> <B> 31 </B> 3 </I> The values n1Mia,% Mla, n2312a, fa @@ 1 @ 13a, n'Im'a (where a is an approximately constant value) the marks 1 to 5 are attached.
If both the lever 15 and the pointer 60 are at the number that corresponds to the number set on the control switch 31 when the system is in operation, everything is fine in both the internal combustion engine 1 and the electrical power transmission. If, on the other hand, is at a certain switching position of the control switch 31, the pointer 60 of the display device 59 below the number of the switching position, there is a power failure. If the lever 15 is also below the number of the switch position, something is wrong with the electrical power transmission.
For example, a line is interrupted or the generator only reaches a limited voltage due to disturbances in the excitation. Located. on the other hand, if the lever 15 is at the correct number, despite the fact that the display of the device 59 is too low, this means that individual cylinders of the diesel engine are completely or partially suspended. It can therefore easily be determined where the source of the fault is to be found in the event of a power failure.
Finally, it can also happen that the device 59 or the lever 15 or both are at a higher number than corresponds to the momentary switch position of the control switch 31. This would mean that one of the wires 32, 42 or 51, 52 has a short circuit with the positive pole or with another wire that is already switched on, so that the relevant magnet 21 or 22 or one of the speed regulating valves 34 and 43 is incorrectly switched on .
Instead of a single control switch for setting the torques and speeds, two control switches can be provided, one only setting the torque and the other only setting the speeds. In contrast to the exemplary embodiment, it would then be possible to set all speed values for the individual torques, respectively. all torques at any speed. As a result, the scale of the display device may have a completely different classification than in FIGS. 1 and 2, in that the pointer position for the same speed is different for the individual torques.
In the following classification:
EMI0004.0013
I / o <SEP> I / 1 <SEP> I / 2 <SEP> I / g
<tb> II / a <SEP> II / I <SEP> II / 2 <SEP> II / g
<tb> III / o <SEP> III / 1 <SEP> III2III / 3 represent the numbers I, II and III the switching positions of the switching element for the speed and the numbers 0, 1, \ 2 and 3 the switching positions of the Switching element for the torque.
The display device on the diesel regulator would then have valid scales 0-1-2-3 for all positions I, 1I and III of the speed switching element. On the other hand, however, the diesel engine can be operated at only one speed, while several torques can be set with the switching element for the torques, or only one torque can be set as against several speeds who the.
Furthermore, the case is conceivable that only the speed is adjusted by means of the control switch 31, while the torque is changed when changing from one speed to the adjacent by a device connected to the controller linkage. Depending on whether this adjustment takes place between lever 15 and slide 10 or between lever 15 and bluff 16, the scale 53 will only have a single valid mark for all positions of the switch 31, except for the 0 position, or the scale receives the numbers 0 , 1, 2, 3 etc. If only one torque can be set, the pointer 15 has only one operating position.
The display of the pointer 15 can thus be carried over to the control station in the simplest manner. If it is in the position corresponding to the torque to be set, it closes the current for a lamp of a certain color, respectively. with a certain symbol or in this position, the circuit of a warning lamp is open. If the pointer deviates from the mentioned position to one side or the other, it closes the circuit of a lamp of a different color or with another symbol and opens the circuit of the first lamp. In the second case, it closes the circuit for the warning lamp.
If the pointer 15 of the display device, as described ben in the embodiment, has different positions, these positions can also be transferred to the control stand by mechanical, pneumatic, electrical or other known transfer means. For the transfer of the position of the pointer 15 in the display device 59, a further pointer can be present besides the pointer 60, so that the display device and the display device are combined into a single device in the control station.
The control of the amount of fuel in the individual fuel pumps assigned to the internal combustion cylinders can be done in any of the known ways: by adjusting an overflow valve, rotating the pump plunger, changing the effective stroke of the plunger and the like. Finally, the device can also be used for any control, such as.
B. controls in which the excitation of the main generator is regulated depending on the voltage of a tachometer generator driven by the internal combustion engine or the pressure of an oil pump driven by the internal combustion engine. The torque setting takes place in such controls in the known way by setting a resistor in a circuit of the tachometer dynamos, respectively. by setting a throttle opening for the oil to exit.
Even with these controls, in which the excitation is not changed immediately depending on the speed controller of the internal combustion engine, the display device 15 can still be attached to the internal combustion engine controller as in the described embodiment.
