Description

Mauer werk.

Masonry. In the known masonry, the mortar of the joints in the masonry has an inadequate insulating effect against thermal influences.

In view of this fact, in a recently proposed masonry in the horizontal bed joints. Instead of mortar, solid, petrified wood wool panels are inserted, which are primarily intended to increase the thermal insulation effect in the horizontal bed joints. A masonry of this type has the disadvantage that the rigid panels mentioned cannot adapt to the unevenness of the bricks. As a result, the shear strength of the masonry remains small.

The present invention is now a masonry that seeks to meet the requirements of practice in terms of thermal insulation essentially that the joints between the bricks by a mortar with at least one thermally insulating filler, expediently in a distributed state, such. B. wood wool, wood shavings, straw, fiber material, wood flour, cork scrap, pumice scrap, slag, asbestos material, paper fibers, etc. are filled.

Such a mortar mass can be used like ordinary mortar in the horizontal and vertical joints of the masonry and therefore also be able to compensate for any unevenness and damage to the bricks. Furthermore, the mortar mass should ensure a firm fit of nails, screws, etc. in the joints of the masonry.

If necessary, to accelerate the drying of the mortar mass, this drying substances, such as B. Silicates, beige be mixed.
