Matériel d'emballage et procédé pour sa fabrication. L'invention comprend un matériel d'em ballage, ainsi qu'un procédé pour sa fabri cation.
Le matériel d'emballage que comprend l'invention est caractérisé par un tapis de matière fibreuse, légère et élastique, fixé, au moyen d'un adhésif et par au moins une de ses faces, à un support mince en matière légère, souple et résistante.
Le procédé pour la fabrication de ce matériel d'emballage est caractérisé en ce qu'on enduit d'un adhésif la face de l'un des éléments constituant ce matériel d'emballage.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemples, deux formes d'exécution du ma tériel d'emballage que comprend l'invention.
La fig.l est une élévation en coupe transversale et la fig. 2, une vue en plan en coupe partielle de la première forme d'exé cution; la fig.3 est une élévation d'une coupe transversale de la deuxième foc-me d'exécution. La forme d'exécution représentée en fig. 1 et 2 'comprend un tapis de laine de bois 1 fixé au moyen d'une couche de colle 2 sur une feuille de papier 3.
La fig. 3 représente une deuxième forme d'exécution, dans laquelle un tapis de laine de bois 4 est fixé, par chacune de ses deux faces, sur un papier 6, au moyen d'une couche de colle 5.
Dans les deux formes d'exécution représen tées, la couche de colle peut être appliquée soit sur le papier, soit sur le tapis de laine de bois; dans ce dernier cas, la colle pénètre dans le tapis auquel elle donne une compacité plus grande. Le papier pourrait être rem placé par un tissu d'une nature quelconque et la laine de bois par une autre matière fibreuse, légère et élastique, telle que crin végétal, varech, ete. Le matériel d'emballage selon la première forme d'exécution sera plutôt destiné à emballer des objets de petites dimensions, celui de la deuxième forme d'exécution étant destiné à l'emballage des objets plus gros.
Les formes d'exécution représentées du matériel d'emballage présentent divers avan tages, tels que la légèreté, la souplesse, l'élasticité, etc., en outre, pour l'emballage d'objets de nature délicate, elles permettent d'éviter que la laine de bois se mélange aux objets emballés.

Fig. 1 is an elevation in cross section and fig. 2, a plan view in partial section of the first embodiment; Fig.3 is an elevation of a cross section of the second execution foc-me. The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 and 2 'comprises a carpet of wood wool 1 fixed by means of a layer of glue 2 on a sheet of paper 3.
Fig. 3 shows a second embodiment, in which a wood wool carpet 4 is fixed, by each of its two faces, on a paper 6, by means of a layer of glue 5.
In the two embodiments shown, the layer of glue can be applied either to the paper or to the wood wool carpet; in the latter case, the glue penetrates the carpet to which it gives a greater compactness. The paper could be replaced by a cloth of any kind and the wood wool by another fibrous, light and elastic material, such as vegetable horsehair, kelp, etc. The packaging material according to the first embodiment will rather be intended for packaging objects of small dimensions, that of the second embodiment being intended for the packaging of larger objects.
The illustrated embodiments of the packaging material have various advantages, such as lightness, flexibility, elasticity, etc., in addition, for the packaging of objects of a delicate nature, they avoid that the wood wool mixes with the wrapped objects.
