Vollmaske. Man. unterscheidet Vollmasken mit Bän- derung und Vollmasken in Haubenform.
Die zur Zeit gebräuchlichste Vollmaske mit Bänderung weist ein Gesichtsstück auf, dessen Abdichtungslinie über Stirn, Schläfen und Wangen und unter dem Kinn durch ver läuft. Durch in der Länge verstellbare Mas kenbänder (z. B. Stirnband, Schläfen- und Nackenbänder) aus Kautschuk, Leinen oder Leder mit oder ohne eingenähten Metall federn usw. werden diese Masken am Kopf festgehalten. Für einen guten Sitz der Maske ist es erforderlich, dass die Länge der Bän der dem Kopf des Trägers angepasst wird. Ein sorgfältiges und damit zeitraubendes Ver passen ist somit grundlegende Bedingung für die Wirksamkeit der Gasmasken dieser Aus führungsart.
Die Vollmasken in Haubenform hüllen den ganzen Kopf ein. Infolge Fortfalles der Bänderung ist ein Aufsetzen der Gasmaske dieser Art ermöglicht ohne besonderes Ver passen. Nachteilig bei dieser Maskenform wirkt die Zudeckung eines grösseren Teils des Kopfes von Stirn und Wangen nach hinten. Die Erfindung hat eine neue Maskenform zum Gegenstand, die die Vorzüge der Voll maske mit Bänderung und der Vollmaske in Haubenform vereinigen soll, ohne deren Nachteile aufzuweisen.
Erfindungsgemäss sind an das Gesichts stück anschliessende, ein Stück mit demselben bildende elastische Gummibänder vorgesehen.
Die Zeichnung zeigt zwei beispielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegen standes.
In der Zeichnung bezeichnet 1 das Ge sicht abdeckende, aus dichtem Gummistoff bestehende Gesichtsstück der Gasmaske, wel ches auf der Stirne und an den Schläfen an liegt und seitlich unterhalb der Kinnbacken abdichtet. In bekannter Weise weist das Ge sichtsstück 1 Fenster 2 und ein Mundstück 3 auf. An dem letzteren wird der Atemfilter angeschlossen, der von an sich bekannter Konstruktion ist und daher nicht näher be schrieben wird. An das Gesichtsstück 1 sind Gummibänder angeschlossen, die um den Kopf des Trägers zu legen sind und aus einem Stück mit dem Gesichtsstück 1 be- stehen.
Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1 ist ein breites Stirnband 4 und zwei Schläfenbänder 5 vorgesehen, die sich bei 6 vereinigen.
Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 2 sind ausser dein Stirnband 4 und den Schlä fenbändern 5 zwei Nackenbänder 7 vor gesehen, die sich bei 6 bezw. 8 mit dem hin- tern Teil des Stirnbandes 4 vereinigen.
Obwohl die Bänder 4 bis 7 aus einem Stück mit dem Gesichtsstück 1 bestehen, kann durch hassende Wahl der Materialdicke die Elastizität der verschiedenen Bänder ver schieden gross gehalten sein. Es ist auch mög lich, die Bänder an das Gesichtsstück 1 an zuvulkanisieren. Irgendwelche Schnallen oder Schlaufen und Metallfedern usw. können ver mieden werden.

A disadvantage of this form of mask is that it covers a larger part of the head from the forehead and cheeks to the rear. The subject of the invention is a new shape of mask which is intended to combine the advantages of the full mask with harness and the full mask in hood shape without having their disadvantages.
