Tubenverschluss.
Tube closure. The subject of the invention of the main patent is a tube closure which, according to the patent claim, is characterized in that a spring-influenced valve is provided in a closure body attached to the tube neck, which valve is arranged so that its valve body is pressed on the tube by virtue of the displacement of the tube contents from its seat on the closure body is lifted in order to allow the desired amount of tube contents to escape through the released opening.
.. The present invention relates to a tube closure with a closure body attached to the tube neck and a valve which is arranged so that its valve body is lifted by pressure on the tube ver the displacement of the tube contents from its seat on the closure body to through the released opening to allow the desired amount of tube contents to escape.
This tube closure is characterized according to the invention in that the valve body of the said valve is under the influence of an elastic organ and has a closure cap slipped over the closure body, which under the influence of said elastic, the same on a tightly on the closure body arranged seat body pressing organ stands.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated.
Fig. 1 shows on an enlarged scale, partly in section and partly in view, a tube with the closure body, and Fig. 2 is a bottom view of the tube closure body.
Screwed into the tube neck of the tube body A is a closure body formed by a threaded sleeve a and a downwardly wedge-shaped head piece a1 provided thereon, over which a closure cap b is placed. This closure cap b is in turn screwed onto a sliding sleeve c pushed onto the tube neck. In order to prevent the sliding sleeve c from rotating on the tube neck, this sleeve is provided with two opposing cuts cl (FIG. 2), into which two corresponding projections engage on the outside of the tube neck.
Between an annular flange a2 provided on the upper part of the threaded sleeve a and a support part c2 formed on the sliding sleeve c, a sleeve-shaped rubber buffer d is provided, which has the purpose of pressing the sliding sleeve c and with it the cap b downwards. This rubber buffer d is expediently surrounded by tin foil, for example, so that the tube contents cannot come into direct contact with the rubber.
Instead of a rubber buffer, a helical spring, for example, could naturally also be provided. The upper part of the head piece a.1 is offset and protrudes into an outlet opening m in the closure cap b intended for the tube content. As can be seen from Fig. 1, a support surface is formed on the head piece a1, on which an annular closure member e sits, which together with the closure cap b forms a type of valve through which the tube contents can be pushed.
If one presses on the tube, this valve is opened in that the closing cap b, which forms the movable part of the valve, counteracts the displacement of the tube contents, which escape through the thread sleeve a and along the sides of the wedge-shaped part of the head piece a1 the effect of the rubber buffer d, is lifted from its seat formed by the closing element e,
so that finally the tube contents can escape past the uppermost part of the head piece a1 through the outlet opening in the closure cap b. After removal of the desired amount of the tube's contents, the pressure exerted on the tube is released, with the result that the sealing cap b is pressed back onto the ring-shaped closing element e under slight pressure due to the effect of the rubber buffer d.
