Haarbrennschere.
Hair cutting scissors. The straight human hair has a round cross-section, the curly hair a flat oval. Between these two forms there is a large number of intermediate stages, the more or less wavy hair. So in order to create waves or curls in the hair, the cross-sectional shape of the hair must be changed; the round hair must be pressed oval. This can be done through pressure, heat and moisture.
Of course, all of these agents can be used simultaneously or in succession. However, pressure on the hair is essential. Additional heat in conjunction with moisture makes the work much easier, which means that less pressure and less time is required to achieve the same end result. Working with pressure and heat at the same time requires less effort and allows you to work faster.
The flattening of the hair can also be accelerated by using plasticizers, which are aqueous alkaline solutions, when setting the curls.
More recently, a method has become known in which the hair cross-section is mechanically pressed wide or rolled wide with the aid of a back and forth swinging leg of a Haarbrenn scissors. The movements of this leg take place with a relatively high number of vibrations, so that the hair wixd about 200 to 6000 times and more per minute. This method of working is the same as for bending metals, for example a sheet metal strip is pulled through a device in which the lower part consists of a fixed trough,
the upper part consists of a reciprocating roller. Depending on the amount of pressure exerted by the rollers on the metal strip and depending on the speed at which the metal strip is pulled through the device, a more or less pronounced rounding of the metal strip occurs. If, instead of the rolling device, one takes a similarly built hair torch and pulls a strand of hair through the scissors while pressing the legs together, the hair is flattened and curled at the same time.
The skill of the hairdresser then brings about the desired type of curling or curling of the hair.
However, this process alone has not been able to bring about the desired success, in that even waving of the hair was not possible.
The present invention now has the object of curling irons with which uniform waves can be achieved in a very short time through heat and suitable mechanical Bear processing.
The hairdressing scissors according to the invention have a fixed and an electric motor-driven, back and forth swinging leg, the number of oscillations can be varied within wide limits, both of which are heated by a multi-stage adjustable heater and at which the torque of the swinging leg increases when the number of vibrations is reduced by appropriate motor switching.
In order to enable the motor to be switched off when the engine speed rises and to be switched on at full torque when the engine speed drops, an adjustable centrifugal controller is advantageously provided in the hair curling scissors, which, in conjunction with a switch, switches on and off of the motor, but also automatically after setting.
If a low number of vibrations is now set, the voltage in the motor circuit is preferably changed so that the motor starts with an increased starting torque. Finally, the devices for regulating the number of vibrations and the heating are conveniently attached to an easily accessible location so that the respective conditions can be taken into account at any time when working with the scissors. The present hair cutting scissors also take into account the fact that human hair is extremely different in terms of both its strength and its strength.
Therefore, all the functions of the curling scissors, namely the degree of heating, the number of vibrations of the movable leg mechanically and the pressure on the legs of the curling iron can be regulated within wide limits by the very sensitive hand.
The accompanying drawing illustrates an example embodiment of the subject matter of the present invention. It shows: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through the scissors, FIG. 2 a cross section.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes the round rolling leg of the scissors, 2 the heating coil of this leg, 3 the trough-shaped second leg of the scissors with its heating coil 4. In the housing 5, which is provided approximately at the pivot pin of the legs, is the drive for the swinging scissors legs 1. 6 and 7 are the two handles of the hairdressing scissors, which move around the pivot pin 8. In the handle 7 and the flexible hose 9 there is a flexible shaft which transmits the rotations of the motor shaft 17 to the drive of the scissor arm 1.
The conversion of the rotational movement of the flexible shaft into a back and forth swinging of the scissors leg can be done in a simple manner in that the flexible shaft drives a crank drive whose rod on the scissors legs respectively. is mounted on a disc located on the scissors leg.
In the housing 16 is the rotor 10 and the stator 1.1 of the motor with the bearings 12 for the latter. 13 is a multi-stage adjustable resistor for adjusting the heating of the shear legs; the setting is made using the contact 14 and the setting button 15.
The number of oscillations of the scissor arm is regulated in such a way that a centrifugal switch opens a contact in the electrical circuit of the motor at a higher speed. The contact 18 of this device is fixed. If the motor is not running, the motor circuit is closed with the aid of the spring 23.
If the motor is running, the weights 20 of the centrifugal switch are removed; the movable contact 19 moves away from the fixed contact 18 and interrupts the motor circuit until the motor speed has decreased again so far that the two contacts 18 and 19 fugalkraft as a result of the decrease in centrifugal force and with the help of the tension spring 23 each other again have approached. With the help of the screw spindle 21, 22, the speed of the motor can be adjusted from the outside. The same screw spindle 21 and 22 is also used, for.
B. to change a resistance in the circuit of the motor so that the motor receives a higher torque at low speed.
