Valve on air hoses and the like. There are already numerous hose valves known, but the previously known constructions are sometimes quite complicated, sometimes not completely tight, as can be seen from the need to re-pump, even with a completely new rubber hose at shorter or longer intervals gives.
Among other things, valve constructions have become known in which an elastic closing body, usually a membrane, presses against a seat, but also the known valve constructions of this type have not been shown to be completely satisfactory, since the closing body is often not due to insufficient contact pressure able to close completely tight.
The object i of the invention now forms a valve on air hoses and the like. With an elastic closure body, weches be intended to eliminate the shortcomings of the known valves this type.
This is achieved in that the closing body already rests on the seat with tension before the filling process, is drilled through inside the seat and outside the stice below the valve stem forms a space that is connected to the inlet opening for the filling air.
As a result of the bias, the sealing closure body already rests against the valve seat, even if there is little or no pressure in the hose. With strong internal pressure, the pre-tension acts as an additional sealing force.
A part of the hose wall itself is advantageously designed as a closing body, it being possible for reinforcing tabs to be provided in the vicinity of the hose hole.
The body closing off the air can be clamped between two clamping bodies. This is done particularly advantageously in such a way that a clamping body located inside the hose is designed as a special part which is separate from the valve seat body and which is then pressed against an external clamping body by suitable means.
This saves special safety elements for fastening the valve on the tube and on the rim, since the clamping point of the closure body also provides the necessary fastening means for the valve. As a result, this hangs on the hose and is pressed against the rim by the internal pressure of the hose, while the pump nozzle of the Ge housing protrudes freely from the rim and is no longer required with a special attachment to the rim.
The means for placing the tube part forming the closing body onto the seat with pretension can be designed in various ways. For example, one can insert the clamp body inside the hose into a corresponding l)
Screw in or plunge in evenly of the seat body. In the former case, the inner clamping body can be screwed eccentrically into the seat body and a pin can be passed through the part of the seat body that is available as a result, which allows the elastic closure body to be pressed near the seat edge and thus a convenient opening of the valve.
The pump nozzle can be designed as a special part and possibly articulated to the seat body, uni the valve for rims and pumps of the most varied types of ver can easily be used.
As a material for the production of valves, in particular leielitinetalle come into question. Furthermore, the cigentical valve housing can also be made of elastic material and a seat body made of non-elastic material can be inserted into the housing; will.
In the accompanying drawings, several exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown, namely: FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a valve, FIG. 2 shows a section through the valve base of another embodiment in an enlarged view showing the valve action, FIG third embodiment of the invention, FIG. 4 shows a fourth embodiment.
in the case of which in the rule set to the previously indicated sections the closing pipe does not consist of a hose but of a special part, FIG. 5 shows a further embodiment. in which a special valve seat body made of non-elastic material is inserted into an elastic valve body.
6 shows an embodiment. in the case of - \ velcher the elastic, closing body is clamped between two special clamping bodies, and FIG. 7 shows an embodiment which differs from that according to FIG. 6 by the formation of the pump support.
The valve shown in Fig. 1 consists of: <ins a valve stem I. time the foot la. of the Draekplatte 2. the nut 3 and the IZsi, phc # 4. Inside or above the foot 1 a, the valve seat 5 is machined from the shaft 1, on which the valve seat 5 between the parts 1 and 2 with the help of the pressure plate 2 of the nut 3 clamped hose 6 rests.
As a result of the shape of the shaft 1 and the other parts, bierbc ,, i derch.la-uch 6 within the foot 1a and the plate 2 experiences a certain prestress. The hollow base 7 is guided through a hole in this visual spawn.
8 is the rim on which, with the interposition of a sealing washer, the cap screwed onto a thread 9 of the valve stem 1 sits, so that the cap forms a secured nut against the rim 8 and a special rim nut can be omitted.
The puncture air is supplied through the channel 1-1 , which enters the inclined channels 1? ends. These open into a space which is formed between the hose 6, which serves as a closure body, and the approximately cap-shaped pressure plate 2. The hose 6 is lifted from its seat 5 by the overpressure developing in this space. The air can then pass through the openings 13 and the hollow extension 7 into the interior of the hose.
After the end of the pump surge, the hose wall 6 immediately rests against the seat 5 again due to the internal overpressure and the pretensioning.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the shaft 14 has a foot 15 and a valve seat 16 and passage openings 17. The hose is denoted by 18 and has reinforcement tabs 19 vulcanized onto the valve passage point. When the sole is inflated, the compressed air located in it drops in the direction of the arrows against the hose, so that it is pressed against the ring-shaped seat 16.
Here, provided that the ring edge D (Fig. 2) remains unloaded, the sealing pressure per running millimeter of seat edge (16) respectively. Seat circumference:
EMI0003.0026
while in the known designs, in which the sealing pressure results only from the pressure of the surface area of the seat ring, the sealing pressure assumes the following values:
EMI0003.0030
The meaning of the diameters D and d in the two formulas can be readily seen from Fig. 2. If one now assumes that the ratio of the diameters D: d = 4: 1, then with this embodiment, the invention, 15 times the sealing pressure per running millimeter of the seat edge is obtained as in a known embodiment, assuming that the valve seat and the foot diameter are the same in both cases are.
The embodiment of FIG. 3 shows an arrangement in which a pressure plate 2 and a nut 3 as shown in FIG. 1 is not required. This embodiment in turn consists of a shaft 20 with a foot 21 and a seat 22. The shaft end 23 reaches through a hole in the hose 25 and has air channels 24. In order to prevent the hose hole from widening, a special reinforcing ring 26 can be provided. Furthermore, you can vulcanize a Lap pen 27 onto the hose, which: see above the foot 21 rests.
As a result of the lack of a pressure plate and nut, the hose in this embodiment also rests tightly against the rim 28 at the valve point, which prevents leaks due to distortion at the valve base.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the hose 29 does not itself form the closure body, but a special hood-like closure body .310, expediently also made of rubber, which is clamped between the hose wall and the foot 21 of the valve stem and a central, bead-like elevation 31 which has a central bore. A mandrel 33 located on the foot 21 engages as a centering device.
The upper annular edge of the bead 31 is placed under tension in an annular groove 32 of the valve base, so that the upper bead edge forms the actual valve seat.
The seat formation can also be reversed, so that the valve part 32 is not designed as a groove, but, as described above, as a jumping seat.
In Fig. 5, an embodiment is shown in which the valve stem 34 with the valve base 35 and a tube plate 36 is made of elastic material.
The hose plate 36 is connected to the hose ä7

In the Ausfüh shown in Fig. 7 a union nut 72 is screwed onto the seat body 51, which has a spherical bore at 73. Accordingly, the top 74 of the seat body 51 is designed spherical. The surfaces 73. and 74 form bearing shells for a ball joint 75 of the pump connector 76. This can .in any direction, e.g. B. in the gess @ tri:

without putting too much strain on the hose near the clamping points. In this way the risk of the hose tearing open is prevented.
