Schleifmasehine.
Grinding machine. The invention relates to a grinding machine with an endless grinding belt that is guided over rollers, at least one of which is motor-driven and one of which is weight or spring-loaded and keeps the grinding belt taut.
According to the present invention, a roller with an elastic jacket is seen between tween the tensioning roller and a guide roller, over which the grinding belt is guided. This role advantageously consists of a stack of cloth disks and is expediently also driven by a motor. The effect of this roll with an elastic jacket is supported by the tensioning roll. The latter releases the sanding belt according to the size of the load, but the belt is always kept taut. The machine can expediently have several work stations.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 is a side view, Fig. 2 is an end view, Fig. 3 is a section along the line A, -B of Fig. 1 and Fig. 4 a Detail.
In a frame 1, rollers 5, 6, 7 are rotatably mounted on fixed shafts 2, 3, 4, over which an endless grinding belt 8 is guided. The roller 2 is driven by means of an electric motor 9. A roller 11, which is mounted on the free end of a lever 12, runs loosely on the belt 8. The latter is attached to a pin 13 which is rotatably mounted in the frame 1 by means of a bush 10. On the sleeve 10, a sleeve 15 provided with a shoulder 16 is freely rotatably mounted. The latter can be fixed on the sleeve 10 with a spindle 17 screwed into the shoulder 16. The free end of the pin 13 carries a segment 20 connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner, on which a spring 21 is suspended, the other end of which engages the attachment 16.
By pivoting the spindle 17 in the direction of arrow I (FIG. 4), the roller 11 is pressed onto the belt 8 in a resilient manner and with a pressure that can be selected via the parts 21, 20, 13, 12. Instead of the spring 21, the roller 11 could also be loaded with a weight. The lifting of the roll 11 from the belt 8 takes place in that the spiral screw 17 is pivoted against the direction of arrow I, whereby a nose 22 provided on the extension 16 hits the segment 20 and lifts the roll 11 with the latter. The roller 11 keeps the band 8 taut by its weight and also under the influence of the spring 21. Between the two) rollers 6, 11 is the roller 7 mounted in the frame. It has an elastic jacket.
The roller 7 consists of a stack of pressed cloth disks. These cloth disks provide good, soft support for the band B. The roller 7 is driven from the roller 5 by means of the cord 28. Instead of the cord 28, a strap could also be provided.
The sanding belt is used both between the rollers 5, 6 and between the Rol len 6, 7 for grinding.
Any differences that occur in the running speed of the belt and the peripheral speed of the roller 7 are compensated for by the elastic, flexible disk)) of the roller 7. In addition, the roller 11 is raised as soon as the tension of the belt is increased. The velocities of the rollers 5 and 7 are equal to each other.
A third job lies on the roller 7. The object to be ground is pressed against the flexible roller 7. Further workplaces are on the disks 24, 25 seated on the motor shaft. The disk 24 is a grinding disk, while the disk 25 is used for polishing and, like the roller 7, consists of a stack of cloth disks. 6 is a leadership role. Under the belt 8, between the rollers 5, 6, there is a plate 30 against which the belt comes to rest when grinding on that section.
Above it is an adjustable stop 31 against which the pieces to be ground can be placed in such a way that they are ground exactly parallel to their longitudinal edges.
