Ski. La présente invention a pour objet un ski, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une semelle en bois d'hickory sur laquelle est fixée, sur une partie de sa longueur, une plaque de hêtre destinée à renforcer et à rendre rigide ladite semelle.

Le ski représenté 3 comprend une semelle 1 en bois d'hickory, sur laquelle est fixée une plaque de hêtre 2. la plaque de hêtre 2, à partir de la partie 5, d'une part, diminue progressivement d'épaisseur et de largeur jusqu'à zéro vers l'avant du ski et, d'autre part, diminue également tout d'abord d'épais seur et de largeur vers l'arrière jusqu'en 6, d'oû elle s'élargit à nouveau pour recouvrir complètement la semelle tout à l'arrière du ski: La plaque de hêtre 2 est, par exemple, collée sur la semelle 1 en bois d'hickory, et le ski obtenu de cette faon est léger tout en étant suffisamment rigide, et présente un aspect caractéristique du fait de la superpo- sition de deux bois de nature et de couleur différentes.
