Druekluftantrieb an elektrischen Sehaltern.
Air drive on electrical holders. The invention is based on the knowledge that for the trouble-free operation of an electrical switch, in particular a compressed gas switch when it is switched off, it is desirable to first separate the contacts from one another at a relatively high speed and then to reduce the speed to during this to be able to bring about an intensive blowing of the contacts in the second movement phase.
It is already known to use compressed air drives for quickly separating the contacts and for the subsequent slowed movement or to hold the switch pin in the most effective blowing zone, in which the drive piston influencing the moving contact controls the switching speed by the separated by the drive piston The drive cylinder spaces are connected to one another by means of a circulation pipeline which accommodates a backlash valve.
In order to elastically absorb the inertial forces and energies occurring during the respective movement process in order to avoid dangerous impacts, special additional damping devices are usually required in such compressed air drives. Moreover, these drive devices are imperfect insofar as they lead to failure of the control if the piston for some external reason remains in the inter mediate position between the two mouths of the circulation pipe.
The vent line provided in the drive cylinder can in this case affect the speed of the moving piston by changing the pressure conditions in front of and behind the piston, but is often not able to influence the pressure conditions to the extent that the The piston is brought out of its resting state.
In contrast, the invention creates a compressed air drive on electrical scarf tern with a compressed air storage device connected to the compressed air cylinder, which according to the invention is in open connec tion with the drive cylinder and, together with the drive piston, takes on the function of a control device regulating the switching speed. One advantage of the subject matter of the invention is that the compressed air can be exchanged between the drive cylinder and the memory during the switching process.
The speed control can be designed independently of the otherwise necessary special control organs. Furthermore, the invention can prevent the drive piston from remaining in any intermediate position, for example due to excessive damping of the same or due to the pressure drop in the supply line. Finally, it can be ensured that the switching pin is dampened in its last movement phase when it is switched on.
In the drawing, two Ausfüh approximately examples of the compressed air drive according to the invention are illustrated; It shows: FIG. 1 a schematic arrangement of the compressed air drive for a compressed gas switch, and FIG. 2 the arrangement of the compressed air drive for a locomotive switch or for a wall switch.
The respectively common for the two embodiments. Corresponding system parts are given with the same reference symbols.
In a cylinder 1, a drive piston 2 is provided, which carries, for example, a pin-shaped contact 3 which cooperates with a fixed contact 4. Serving to switch on, in this case the upward movement of the drive piston 2 causing compressed air is BEZW the cylinder 1 from a compressed air source. Compressed air supply system supplied in the direction of arrow 5, with a regulating element and also a membrane 6 being arranged by way of a switching air supply, which for example consists of a
an adjustable spring 7 receiving elastic housing BEZW. Pillow consists. The use of a diaphragm is advantageous compared to the usual regulating elements in that when switching, for example on a short circuit, the diaphragm is pressed open and releases a large cross-section for the switch-on air still present to exit from the drive cylinder 1.
The air to turn off the nende passes in the direction of arrow 8 through the compressed air line 9, which can also serve to supply the blown air to the contacts receiving switch room, via an adjustable check valve 11 or a throttle to the switch room facing room of the drive cylinder 1. One or more compressed air reservoirs 14 are connected to the drive cylinder 1. Here, the arrangement of the accumulator 14 can either be selected so that the drive cylinder 2 in the switched-on position lies above the opening 13 of the compressed air accumulator or so that it covers this opening.
The capacity of the compressed air reservoir 14 is, for example, a multiple of the drive cylinder space located above the opening 13 of the compressed air reservoir.
When switching on, the membrane 6 is compressed by the air flowing in the direction of arrow 5 after the main switch-on element (not shown) has opened, so that the air enters the drive cylinder 1 and moves the drive piston towards the contact point.
When switching off the drive piston is quickly moved downwards after the success th opening of the unspecified Hauptaus switching element, whereby the contacts are accordingly quickly separated from each other until the drive piston reaches the mouth 13 respectively. happens. A substantial part of the air intended for the switch-off process is now drawn off by means of the accumulator 14 and the pressure on the drive piston 2 and thus the switching speed are thereby reduced. The time interval in which the compressed air is drawn off is used for intensive blowing of the switching contacts.
At the same time as the reduction in speed caused by the drive piston itself, a damping of the moving masses is initiated. As a result of the compressed air flowing in further from the line 9, the reservoir 14 and the space above the piston 2 are filled with compressed air, as a result of which the piston experiences acceleration again. If, for example, the pressure in the line 9 has now fallen, the movement of the piston 2 can still be continued by the stored air. The compressed air can escape from the space of the drive cylinder facing away from the switching point by opening the membrane through the brake pressure and keeping it at a constant flow width.
If necessary, the compressed air line 9 can be connected to the compressed air line which supplies the switch-on air to the drive cylinder 1 in order to achieve counter air damping. The connecting line, which can accommodate a throttle or an adjustable check valve, is indicated in the drawing Fig. 1 by dashed lines.
In the embodiment of the compressed air drive according to FIG. 2, a double piston 2, 2 'is provided. The two pistons 2 and 2 'are moved together by being rigidly connected to one another. At the connecting part 15 of the two pistons 2, 2 'engages a lever 16 which is rotatable about the pin 17 and carries a switch pin 3 at its opposite end part. In the wall of the drive cylinder 1 there is at least one opening 19 which is used to discharge the switch-on air in the last phase of the switch-on movement.
The arrangement here is such that when the switching pin 18 is switched on, it is first brought into connection with the fixed mating contact, whereupon the opening 19 is only released. This can be achieved, for example, by appropriately dimensioning the switch pin in the longitudinal direction. If counter-air damping is applied, it is advantageous if the switching cylinder 2 'has a smaller diameter than the switching cylinder 2, since in no case can a greater pressure occur on the switching side than on the switching off side. The rest of the arrangement of the components corresponds to that of FIG. 1.
The memory 14 is also connected to the upper part of the drive cylinder 1. The switching air is fed to the drive cylinder 1 in the direction of arrow 8. In the serving to supply the switch-off air Lei device is a regulating valve and in the Lei device 9 a check valve and a Regu lierdrossel 11 is provided. The blown air is fed to the control room through a special device 20.
In addition to the air accumulator 14, which serves to dampen the out-of-mail movement shortly after the contacts have been separated, another air accumulator can be connected to the lower end of the switching cylinder facing away from the switch room, which is the movement of the switch pin intercepts and protects the control device from sudden strain when the drive piston 2 is placed. The connection line between the compressed air lines 5 and 8, indicated by dashed lines in the drawing, can then be omitted.
