Le dispositif représenté et décrit fonc tionne comme suit: Pour ouvrir la baie 5, le boisseau 15 de la vanne 12 est tourné de façon à faire com muniquer le tuyau 13 avec les conduits 10 et 11, ce qui a pour résultat de relier le fond des cylindres 8 et 9 avec le réservoir d'huile sous pression, et de déplacer les pistons 6 et 7 qui font alors glisser les galets 3; ceux-ci, par l'intermédiaire des pivots 2, soulèvent le châssis 1, maintenu, d'autre part, à l'aide des bras 16;
pour fermer la baie 5, le boisseau 15 est tourné de façon à relier les conduits 10 et 11 avec le tuyau 14, ce qui met en commu nication le fond des cylindres 8 et 9 avec le réservoir de vidange; il en résulte que, du fait -du poids du châssis 1, les pistons 6 et 7 se déplacent au sens opposé dans leur cylindre respectif et en chasse l'huile vers le dit réservoir de vidange, les galets 3 se dépla çant alors avec les pistons et entraînant la vi trine 17, -de façon à obturer la baie 5 ;
Device for actuating a member capable of blocking an opening. The object of the invention is a device for actuating a member capable of closing a bay, such as a window, a door, etc., characterized in that it comprises at least one cylinder in which is intended to a piston moves, this cylinder being connected, by means of a valve, to a reservoir containing a pressurized fluid, the whole being made so that, in a position of this valve, said piston moves in one direction inside the cylinder and actuates the shut-off device, so as to open the bay, and that, in another position of the valve,
said piston moves in the opposite direction to the interior of the cylinder, the shutter member then moving to close the bay.
The appended drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the device forming the subject of the invention. FIG. 1 is a front view of a display case provided with the aforementioned device; Fig. 2 is a sectional view along 1-1 of FIG. 1. and FIG. 3 is a schematic view of a ball valve included in the device.
The showcase shown comprises a frame 1 capable of tilting on pivots 2 supported by rollers 3 moving in guide slides 4. These rollers 3 are actuated when it comes to opening or closing the door. bay 5, by means of a. device comprising two pistons 6 and 7 respectively intended to slide: in cylinders 8 and 9 fixed in the guide slides 4.
These cylinders are respectively connected, by means of conduits 10 and 11, to a ball valve 12 communicating, on the one hand, via a pipe 13 with a tank see, not shown, containing oil under pressure and, on the other hand, via a pipe 14, with a drain tank, not shown.
The device shown and described operates as follows: To open the bay 5, the plug 15 of the valve 12 is rotated so as to make the pipe 13 communicate with the conduits 10 and 11, which results in connecting the bottom cylinders 8 and 9 with the pressurized oil tank, and to move the pistons 6 and 7 which then slide the rollers 3; these, by means of the pivots 2, raise the frame 1, held, on the other hand, by means of the arms 16;
to close the bay 5, the plug 15 is rotated so as to connect the conduits 10 and 11 with the pipe 14, which puts the bottom of the cylinders 8 and 9 into communication with the drain tank; it follows that, due to the weight of the chassis 1, the pistons 6 and 7 move in the opposite direction in their respective cylinder and drive the oil therefrom towards the said drain tank, the rollers 3 then moving with the pistons and driving the glass 17, -so as to close the bay 5;
in an intermediate position of the valve 15, the conduits 10 and 11 are not connected either with the intake pipe 13 or with the drain pipe 14, and the frame 1 remains stationary, without there being to fear a untimely closure of it.
The pressurized oil tank, not shown, is supplied, for example, by means of a pump actuated by an electric motor controlled by a pressure switch, which activates said motor for a minimum value of the oil pressure. in said reservoir, and which switches it off for a maximum value of the pressure of said oil.
The device shown, which can be applied, -for example, to -door and -windows of all kinds, makes it possible to actuate a large closing device, without counterweight, chain or suspension cable. .
Instead of oil, another fluid, such as air or water, could also be used to actuate the pistons 6 and 7. It would also be possible to provide a form of execution comprising only one single embodiment. cylinder instead of two, so as to act only on one of the sides of the obturator member.
