Wrist watch with holding device. The invention relates to a wristwatch with a holding device, which has the purpose of holding the wristwatch at a distance from the arm surface and thereby protecting it from the adverse effects of body heat and perspiration from the skin.
According to the invention, the holding device under the watch case base has a part which comes to rest directly on the arm surface, is only connected to the watch case in places and holds the watch at a distance from the arm surface.

Fig. 18 shows the locking between the mutually adjustable parts of the latter holding device, in longitudinal section, Fig. 19 the associated connecting means tel, in front view, Fig. 20 as an eighth embodiment, a resiliently adjustable in length to the watch holding device, in top view.
In the embodiment of Fig. 1 be the holding device for the clock 1 consists of an uninterrupted plate 2, which is bent downward against the flat clock case base 3 and thereby the clearance 4 from the latter maintains. The plate 2 can be made of any suitable th material, for example metal, synthetic horn or the like. The plate 2 is held at its transverse edges by Füh ments which are provided on the corresponding edges of the watch case base 3.
There is only at the edges of the plate 2 contact between the clock 1 and the holding device.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the plate 2 is held by U-shaped strips 6, which are fastened, for example soldered, to the transverse edges of the watch case base 3, partially sunk in a correspondingly pressed-in recess 7. The plate 2 can optionally be soldered with their Rän countries in the strips 6.
In the embodiment of FIG. 3, the plate 2 is held by bent edge approaches 8 of the watch case bottom 3 blown open on the watch case 1 by un th. In the embodiment of FIGS. 4 and 5, the uninterrupted plate 2 of the holding device is curved in a watch case with a convex bottom parallel to this on upward. Upward and inward curved transverse edges 9 of the plate 2 engage in press-fit grooves 10 on the transverse peripheral walls 11 of the watch case.
As a result, the clear distance 4 between the watch case and the holding device and at the same time the connection between the sen parts is made.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 6 and 7, the clearance 4 between this and the uninterrupted plate 2 is achieved by a flat design of the latter in a watch case with a curved bottom 3. The connection between these parts is made by bent transverse edges 12 of the plate 2 and by snap grooves 13 on the corresponding lower edges of the housing.
Fig. 8 shows an embodiment in which the watch case is provided with a curved bottom 3 and the plate 2 is bent after un th, whereby the clear stand 4 between the case bottom 3 and the plate 2 is achieved.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 9 and 10, the plate 2 is attached to the watch case by angle rails 14, which are sunk in their wall thickness corresponding impressions 15 of the watch case and are attached to the latter by soldering.
The rails 14 do not extend over the entire width of the plate 2 and are at their ends from transversely in front of the same project the lugs 17 of the plate 2 over. The plate 2 can be connected to the watch case without soldering by bending it more strongly and thereby shortening it, then pushing it under the angle rails 14 and allowing it to spring, engaging with the rails. The plate 2 is provided with the openings 18.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 11 and 12, the connection between the plate \? and the watch case only at the four corners of these parts. Here are at the four corners of the U hrgehäusebodens 3, along the bottom edge and close to the latter A cuts attached, which flaps 19 be bound, which are bent slightly upward while the side walls 11 and 20 remain. The joints 22 between the abo gene flaps 19 and the side walls of the watch case are closed by soldering.
In the by the bent flap 19 he testified wells of the housing bottom 3, the four corresponding upward ge logenen and at their lower edges abge beveled corners 24 of the plate 2 are used. By bending the lower edge 21 of the side wall of the watch case over the beveled edges 23 of the corners 24 of the plate 2, the connection between the latter and the watch is established, which can also be secured again by soldering. So here there is almost only point-like connection between clock 1 and plate 2.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 13 to 15, the plate 2 is in turn provided with through-brecbungen and has at its bent ends 25 wide hooking slots 26 respectively. webs 27 to which the bracelet 28 is connected. The plate 2 is provided behind the suspension eyelets 26 with inwardly directed edges 29, which grasp in grooves 30 of the side walls 11 of the watch case, similar to the embodiment according to FIGS.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 16 to 19, the holding device consists of two directly superposed and guided, flat, perforated parts 31 and 32, which are mutually adjustable in their longitudinal direction. The longitudinal edges 33 of the parts 31 and 32 are strongly beveled and the longitudinal edges of each of the two parts are encompassed by lateral guide approaches on the other part. The middle web 37 of the upper part 31 has a resilient tongue 37 in its center, which engages with a downwardly directed edge 38 in the transverse corrugation 36 of the lower part 32.
By sliding the parts 31 and 32 together or pulling them apart, which must be done under overcoming the resistance of the locking device 36, 37, the holding device formed by the parts 31 and 32 can be adapted to the respective length of the wristwatch 1 within certain limits. This holding device is designed in relation to the bottom 3 of the watch case again so that a clear space 4 is maintained between these Tei len. In the example shown, the length-adjustable holding device is therefore bent downward relative to the flat watch case base 3. The parts 31 and 32 are provided at one end with projections 39 which are bent at right angles.
The approaches 39 grasp by sprinkling the A hanging bracket 40 of the clock 1 at its root from the side and from above and thus establish the connection of the clock and the Haltevor direction. In the embodiment according to FIG. 20, a compression spring 44 is inserted between the two mutually guided parts 41 and 42, namely in a cavity formed by impressions 43, which tends to push the two parts 41 and 42 into one another, thus shortening the holding device zen and thereby enables them to adapt themselves to the size of the watch case and to cling to the same with appropriate end approaches.
In this embodiment, too, the Haltevor device is again designed with respect to the bottom of the watch housing so that the clear distance between these parts is maintained.
The holding device consisting of a one-piece plate can also be combined to form a watch bracelet at the same time with the resiliently closing legs around the arm. The plate with the bangle bracelets consisting of elastic metal bands or strips can be made from an uninterrupted metal strip. But it is also possible to connect the arm hoop legs to the ends of the plate then forming the bangle center piece by means of spring joints.
The holding device for the wrist watch can also consist of an air-permeable, pliable strap body. For example, the holding device can consist of a strip of loose metal wire mesh, which is arranged under the watch case bottom, so it comes to rest on the arm surface, through its limbs only has a local connection with the watch case and through the spaces in the braid through whose members are formed, the watch keeps at a distance from the arm surface.
In the case of the holding device made of air-permeable, pliable belt body, the latter can also consist of hollow members of sheet metal. Such band bodies also have a connection only in places with the clock through the links, while the cavities of the links establish the distance between the clock and the arm surface.
The attachment of the watch on such air-permeable and pliable band bodies can consist of hooks arranged on the same, which are hooked into the connection bracket of the wristwatch, for example similar to that described in the embodiment of FIG. 19.
